Don’t trust anything you are told verbally by a Lennar employee. Closings are set quick and they promise to correct issues but the battle ensues if you go to closing. We are not the only resident with this experience.

Lennar did a great job building my home. I'm very happy with the customer care and all the people I worked with to make this dream come true.

The trim work in the house is not that good. The paint job on the interior doors is bad. Debris were painted over, there is paint splatter on the doors. Uneven brush marks trying to cover debris, that need to be sanded and repainted properly. The edges of the doors were not smoothed and are rough. The kitchen island counter top is not level. The kitchen sink has to be replaced due to being badly scratched and dented. When I did the walk through, the kitchen sink was conveniently wet, and I did not notice the scratches. After I closed and came back to the house, the kitchen sink was dry, and I could see all the scratches and dent. I called Jeremy the customer service rep, who conducted the walk through. I showed him the sink, and he told me to take a brillo pad, and scratch up the rest of the bottom of the sink, so all the scratches would match. Yes, that is what he told me to do. I told him that would really look bad, and the sink needed to be replaced. The crown molding that I paid extra to have, has cuts that were not filled in, and Jeremy told me it would be taken care of by the second walk through. It was not. I have been in the house for five months and it still has not been take care of. There are other issues that have not been taken care of, I will not list them all, but I think you get the picture. I submitted my warranty request to Lennar before Thanksgiving and only a few things have been done. I have contacted Jeremy over and over about the same things. Tiffany Greenfield did an exceptional job assisting us through searching for the perfect community to the perfect home. Jeff and Greg helped us from the walk through any thing that needed attention. We are very pleased with our Lennar home.

Sprinkler guys did a lousy job. Sprinklers are too deep they didn’t plan for the sod height or level the yard well. Already have had to re-caulk master shower and kids bathroom. Overall we are happy with our home.

Quality of workmanship and materials very poor we found many issues that needed to addressed numerous times, and are still dealing with them i.e paint splattered all over the floor tiles and the dishwasher not connected correctly caused a flood in our living room ETC.

The builder had a very average finish. We had to rework it several times before the final walk-through. Since our support person (Mr.Mark) was very kind we were able to get a lot of stuff done after the closing by raising tickets. We are still not done with our home, the tub, there is a crack in it, something we were not able to see clearly during the final walk-through. Also Lennar a billion-dollar company should reiterate through their sales team several times about what is NOT included in the "All inclusive" home. For example we were hastily shown some things like the back blinds ,were not included, or even the lights for the home were not included, I think these things should be highlighted and an option provided for the customer to purchase such options. I do understand and respect that Lennar might have its own reasons, but the option to exercise should exist for the customer. I will happily confess that we were indeed provided everything except for the back blinds, and I am very grateful to Mr.Mark for his persuasion with his organization to satisfy all our needs especially in sight of the fact that we were almost out of funds after the closing. Overall we are very happy, but the paint job, the finishing near the edges of the walls and such other, have been slightly below satisfactory. Overall have been very pleased with Lennar. I’ve had homes built in the past and this is the best experience I’ve had. Response to issues has been excellent. I’m especially pleased with the LENNAR team I’ve worked with. I do have a complaint. I have some dead bushes and trees and my sprinkling system is not functioning but LENNAR says it’s not their issue and the landscape people say it’s a LENNAR issue. Nothing is getting done and more bushes are dying. Plus I’m trying to water with a hose which is costing me extra money and time. Can someone work with the landscaper and get my irrigation system fixed and dead trees and shrubs replaced? ... More

Our new home feels like a custom home without being one, Lennar's Everything Included feature is just phenomenal. Our floor plan is just suited to how we are as a person we like to entertain friends and family and our new home is built for that. The Customer service is top notch, Anthony Teague responds very quickly to every questions we have. Theresa Moffett was always there during and after the sales process. We can't be anymore happier with our decision to buy a Lennar home.

I'm happy with my new home

Extremely happy from our first steps into the sales model to now living in such a beautiful home. Lennar will always be our first choice for a new home purchase since everything is included-LOVE IT! No extra costs to add anything on!! Compared to other builders, Lennar offers thousands in savings by including the add on's we would have wanted.

Take your time and if the person working at the office cannot Focus ask for someone else. I could have included more things I wanted after I spoke with neighbors. Also when I signed I would call and ask questions and never a response. Also contact Lennar Higher Level and Basically they protected the employee and only excuses. I liked the All Included but was it worth it? First Impressions stay with a person. Homes in Florida are not the Standard I expected. No interiar wall insulation for example

The house we bought overall is excellent and, especially with the lot size, is a great price. There were definitely some issues that required us to call out techs multiple times after we moved in.

If they would just do what they eventually do, in a more timely manner, they would be a much better company. You must keep pushing them to get them to do the things they should do without repeatedly asking them.

Poor customer service, errors on financial Documents even after correcting them multiple times, worse home buying experience ever

I am very glad that I bought my beautiful Lennar house.

I would not recommend the Lennar financing team. That is the only reason I would not rate Lennar 5 stars for Trustworthiness and Responsiveness to issues. The finance team could not get my settlement statement correct even right up to closing. I almost walked away from purchasing the villa due to their constant mistakes.

As the saying goes, "first impression is the last impression". In this instance, I tend to disagree with my homebuying experience with Lennar. The first encounter with my agent was quite impressive. The questions I have fielded were answered with conviction. However, I have felt a sense of deception and distrust along the way and during the construction process. I had asked a few questions regarding the construction specifications, but those didn't materialize at the end. Bottom line, do your diligent research before you sign the contract. Ask current homeowners with their experiences, etc. The house I moved in have issues that have not been looked at or rectified as of this review. The insulation is very sub-par. It is uncomfortable during the day, having the AC set at recommended 78° and just runs all day long. The temperature in the garage is unbearable. I ended up insulating the attic myself. And to mention, found some empty beer cans up there. Perhaps, the construction folks needed some refreshment to stave off the heat. Makes me wonder if building inspectors are actually doing their job. My move-in was a month delayed. The closing process was a sigh of relief and went without a hitch. ... More

Lennar homes are undoubtedly beautiful with first class materials. Unfortunately there is a markedly disconnect in the quality control and some workmanship. It is understandable that inevitably there will be some issues with a new home, but most of us in Dorado are in agreement that the issues we have been facing are not becoming of half million dollar homes. Many of our issues have come down to outright LACK of quality control. In one case the only thing that needed to be done to see the problem was to look up at the wall. I am very happy with the response from the team that addresses these issues, Overall I am and will be a Lennar customer for life; with just a tiny bit of effort these can be the best homes in the market! ... Was a Licensed Realtor in Texas for 14+ years, and moved to retire in Fla. Lennar offers a lot for the Money. We have been in our home for six months, and have had a few issues to coordinate with Builder. Cedric_Customer Service Mgr., and Michael-Builder answered and remedied each issue promptly. Their Customer service and commitment to solving issues goes beyond the minimum. Valuable representatives of their company. We are truly grateful. Lennar delivers.

Alot of dings, scratches, cracks. Wish i was told before hand about my house being so much in an incline my drive way seems like im going up a hill...hopefully my transmission will be ok going from park to reverse, because it sounds like its about to give every time a shift during parked car. If my car breaks i will sue

Put yourself in your best financial health, as to having the most control over your purchasing experience, i.e., credit score, income to debt ratio. This may sound like obvious advice, but I cannot emphasize this enough. Side note, inquire with the HOA about any personal things you intend to do on your property. I've had a nightmare.
