Overall the processes was ok. Double check the HOA rules as our sale person gave us a few wrong answers. Sometimes the staff were slow to response on questions. Finally while we have not had large issues you can see that the building process is rushed and not the best workmanship. There are many little details that could have been done better. Blocking, electrical outlets, and wall pass through for wall mounted tvs should be the norm now but were not included.

Entire process went smoothly, Everyone involved in the was always available to answer any of my questions. I’ve owned a Lennar home in the past. The home included a ring camera. The new home does not..which would have been nice.

recently purchased a home in polk county area , new community just built and when i went to inquire of a property i told the salesperson i wanted a home on the end he told me they not building anymore homes in the area i selected so few months in as i got a home i really wasnt happy i noticed that they built 3 more homes that was last, so he lied, after i closed on the home we experienced the air conditioning wasnt working after we moved in i went through 8 lennar people to explain my situation this was the worse awful experience i have ever went through as a first time buyer, my family had no where to go couldnt live in a hot house i paid for hotel for a whole week and the people at lennar had no sympathy, compassion, or interest to esculate the issue, finally after fix now the door bell is misfunctioning my home on the entire block is having muiltple issues, this is not professional, very dissatisfied you called the company goes to voice mail no reply, its so horrible to treat clients that as invested their hardworking life savings and buy a home from a well known developer and receive such horrible service... ... “My overall experience buying a Lennar home in Wind Meadows South has been very positive. The homebuying process was smooth, and the sales team kept us informed throughout each step. We appreciate the modern floor plan, included features, and overall value compared to other builders in the area. The workmanship and materials have been good overall, with only a few minor issues that are common with new construction. Lennar’s team was responsive in addressing punch-list items after move-in, and communication was generally solid. No builder is perfect, but our experience has been a positive one, and we’re happy with our new home and community.” ... More

Make sure you do your own math. Assembly line experience.(You are not my problem mentality after every step). No accountability for keys if you do RON CLOSING.

I made an appointment to look at a model home. Upon arriving, Jeanette was the rep we met but she was not friendly in greeting us and the schedule for other reps were messed up so we were handed to her last minute. She rushed us to sign the earnest money deposit but glad for my realtor for sticking up for us to not signing it right away. She also misspelled our names after telling her it was wrong multiple times. Shaun was the home concierge. Besides the opening emails, she had poor communication. My realtor and I could not reach her when we had questions. She also did not let us know the second home inspection was delayed until 10 minutes before the appointment so we wasted our time to come out to the house for nothing. I had to double check every future appointment being made. Amber was the mortgage originator. She was great in the beginning but stopped responding when we had issues. She stepped in the day before closing to push our loan through. When I had questions after the closing on how to pay or who to contact, there was no communication whatsoever. Johnathan was the loan processor. He made an issue about the lady bird deed that didnt apply to our loan and wasted two weeks of going back and forth about it. His communication was the worst and then to find out he left the job made us furious knowing that he didnt care. Michelle was the next loan processor that was assigned to us. We explained the whole situation and stated that we would pay all bills at closing but none of that mattered. We ended up making double payments for our bills because of billing statements were not available. Jamal was the quality control manager. He was nice at first and explained everything but he didnt let us know the reason why we were there - to blue tape flaws. Once we started doing blue tape, he was getting aggravated and was rushing us after 1 hour. He also didnt let us know about the second home inspection delay 10 minutes before the appointment. The second home inspection he told us we couldn't use a flashlight during the home inspection and to stand 6 feet away while inspecting despite using one during the first home inspection and didnt say anything. He ensured us that everything would be fixed before closing (small details were not fixed before closing). The last home inspection, I asked for the front door to be locked once the little details were supposed to be finished but upon arriving after collecting keys, the front door and patio door was not locked. We were told that doors would be locked once everything was signed off per rep, concierge, and quality control manager. Upon collecting keys, a rep said Jeanette would gift us a house warming gift that all reps do for buyers - we have never received anything after closing on the house. During the first night, water leaked through the first floor ceiling vent from the second floor bathtub. The result was the shower walls were not installed correctly. The hot water heater leaked for a couple weeks. Hot water lasts about 15 minutes and going to put a ticket in for that. The third party vendor plumbers were horrible, the third party remediation team was great, and the lennar customer care (after closing) have been helpful so far. Overall, horrible communication even when we bought the house as is and didnt pick designs or upgrades. After closing and closer inspection, materials used are usually for rentals. The only reason we bought the house was because the numbers were right for a 5 bed 2.5 bath house compared to other local cities. Would we buy another Lennar? It's a no for now but if a future opportunity opens, maybe for rental but not a forever home. ... More

I will N E V E R attempt to buy anything from these people again they are a scam they took half of my escrow after going through the whole process of being approved than not.

Really bad experience with Lennar, Lack information, can’t find people to help and it’s frustrating experience that I have with Lennar Team when I was in the closing, now I have my inspection and no body wants to help me, before the closing they told me everything be ok if some thing coming wrong with the inspection they will fixed and now they don’t want to hep me. Really bad experience And not happy and never recommended

We had an excellent experience purchasing our new Lennar home thanks to Octavio. From the very beginning, he was professional, knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to help with every question we had throughout the process. He made everything smooth and stress-free, and we truly appreciated his honesty, communication, and dedication.

It was good experience, helpful for first time buyers

My wife and I promptly supplied everything needed to the underwriting team and were exactly where we needed to be in order to be approved and were denied at the last second after they had already given us a closing date. Only to find out from the builder they should have offered us another lender which they never did and even the builder was upset for us after everything we all had been through at that point. Refund on our down payment took forever to receive back. Overall terrible experience. Two thumbs down. Do not recommend. If you’re looking to buy a new home don’t go with Lennar.

I was met with rudeness and condemnation. Poor customer relationship and poor follow through. I love my home. But was made to duplicate information and complete tasks multiple times. My experience was terrible each step of the way. But my home is beautiful 4 bedroom 3 bathroom, the only reason I suffered through the process.

These people are a joke. Expect all smiles and a helping hand right until you sign the purchase agreement, lender never answer questions, only when convenient, send paperwork to sign and 2+2≠4, virtual closing but no plan for key hand off, the concierge is useless … close to 2 months in the new house and it’s definitely not flat/even, huge gaps and tile is hollow throughout, problems with electric, appliances, bugs entering home is TOTALLY NORMAL. They will do ANYTHING to not fix the poor craftsmanship… highly recommend you shop with D.R. Horton. Overall, this was the highest level of disappointment from Lennar. Definitely expected a lot more. ... More

It was a good experience and fast process of getting the houses everyone was nice in the process.

Lennar Need to do better inspection in your homes, find some issues on my home looks that we need to fight for everything.
