Things they could have fixed during building and and before closing, was not done. Instead they moved it to a warranty issue that has taken way to much of our time and an added mess that could have all been avoided.

This is actually a really good efficient home, the problem is the finish work is horrible. They really need to have strong leaders to hold their sub contractors to a higher standard. You just can't push everything off to warranty and inconvenience the new home owner that have to wait on contractors to show up, if they show up and the extra mess it causes after you have already moved in. We love our home we really do great layout energy efficient, but all the extra time and mess to go through after you close is ridiculous. There were many issues to be resolved, not all of which were completed to our satisfaction. The standard answer to our issues was “It meets code” even though we did not agree and could show it was different to plan. For new home buyers, make sure you watch every stage of the development and take someone who understands home construction with you on your walk through so that you pick up all the issues.

A lot of sloppy work done in this house

There were no lights fixtures in any of the bedrooms no towel bars in any of the bathrooms the painting was sloppy the cocking & plater was sloppy I expected more for as much as this house cost

You can`t see your head in front of you at night and the houses don`t come with outside garage lights. The sprinkler system isn`t set to spray the grass in places. The yard itself isn`t level and lumpy all over. Brand new community with renters already. Mail box issues from day one. I`m not a fan at this point.

The full process is a pain, from the sales agent, unresponsive, to the closing. I still have some unresolved issues. Only the two o three people in the CUstomer Service area, like Mr Delgado, communicated with me and tried to solve some major issues

We were out of state buyers. I wouldn’t recommend using Lennar if you are in a similar situation. They are not equipped to handle you properly.

I really hate to speak poorly of any company but I do wish that someone has warned me about Lennar. They are a big company building lots of houses and it’s easy to get lost. They have lots of small divisions each of which own an element of your selling/building/closing experience. It was really hard to know who to call for what or how to get updates (we lived out of state). The final walk through and resolution of outstanding issues was terrible! I can’t recommend them in good conscience.

I would never recommend this builder to anyone because they sacrifice quality for quantity. I’ve never experienced anything like I have with Lennar. It’s sad that no one even seems to care.

The process of picking out and paying for the home was simple enough however the contact for using lennar mortgage and getting the unfinished work completed has been another story. Lennar pushes incentives to close quicker but did not use them, I ask to buy down the rate but all they did was 1/8 point leaving over $10k of incentive unused. The other item pushing the close was that the property was unfinished and I have yet to hear back on when it will be completed. Lennar needs to have better customer service!

It was shared with us that our closing date was moved up due to Lennar’s goal to have 12 homes completed for the quarter. As a consequence, the home was not prepared for the final walk through due to incomplete or poorly completed work. Our realtor had to intervene on our behalf several times to ensure we were sold a home safe enough for occupancy. In the beginning Lennar was very helpful obviously trying to earn our business and sell us a house however after moving in all the trouble started. Poor workmanship in the house, getting issues resolved took weeks, it is sometimes impossible to get someone to help you schedule repairs. When we first looked at the home we noticed that there was a large crack in the driveway concrete. When we showed up for the walk through the cracked concrete was replaced with new concrete which is a complete different color from the original. Crazy thing is they only needed to replace one section (1/6) and they did 2/3 of the driveway so now the driveway looks like a patch up job. Lennar DECLINED my request to fix the problem stating that they are not responsible if there is any staining or discoloration of the concrete driveway!!! Where to begin? When we started the process everything was on point and the communication with the seller was awesome. After we signed the contract in February they promised us the completion date was going to be between July and August. It wasn't until November that we finally got our home. The seller didn't even answer on time; sometimes I was ignored for days. Not even Lennar customer service was able to help me get the answers I wanted. The home loan experience was horrible with lennar. So many issues with the house after 60 days and still not resolved. Hopefully they will come and fix some issues soon. Some repairs are still waiting to get fixed and I’m sure they already forgot what ones. They told me after 30 days the painters will come in and do a touch up. Still have not seen them yet. My wife went and bought a bucket of paint to do our own touch ups. Not happy about that at all. Poor craftsman ship with the home in general.

My experience has being unbelievably horrifying. And that’s saying the least. 2nd day moving into the house, a major leak started from a less than par poor job done on the upstairs bathroom. Leak went into the kitchen. Then it went down from there, from broken leading faucet, landscape mishap, broken things everywhere. Just a disappointing experience that’s distasteful.

My experience with purchasing this home has been nothing but frustrating. Their communication amongst the different departments need a lot of work. Be very diligent with who you work with,. Their underwriting department has “dropped the ball” and seems to be very disorganized. I don't think Lennar is in sink with all of there offices. whey will call you for closing when the home is not ready. if you give then 10 week heads up that you will be on Military orders they don't care and still set you up to close that day even if the home is not done. I think the next time we start looking for a new home we will start by looking for a new builder.

Our loan officer lacked communication through the entire process and failed to disclose certain information until day of closing. Garage didn’t finish until last minute. Refrigerator has problems since August 2023. It is still not fixed yet. Lennar said will order a new one for me. But never did. Now I’m still waiting for fixing the refrigerator. Closing check documents have not sent to HOA. Don’t know when I can get it.
