I am first home buyer with no knowledge of procedures or process. With Lennar,its simple, easy and transparent. My home consultant Felipe walked me through all phases of construction, right from signing to move-in. I am pleased with the quality and materials. The customer care is very responsive till the issues get closed. I am very happy with my choice of Lennar as "Everything is Included". And I love the smart house accessories that Lennar provided to all of their smart home communities .

Between the sales lady and the lennar mortgage guy we were going into this situation blind. All my mortgage conversations were held over email or after 9pm phone conversation. It's not a good way to find out closing date got moved by a 2am email and no one answers the phone the next 2 days. Sales lady didn't inform us of any progress on the home only time we heard from her was to get us set up to buy and get our 1% deposit which we didn't k ow about till the day it was due. Moving from out of state they made it very difficult.

To be more upfront on what you are really getting instead of leaving you in the dark. (I.e.) ceiling fans, light over the dining room area, to set the water aggregation system back to a normal level. Be more in contact with the customer during the build process.

It was shared with us that our closing date was moved up due to Lennar’s goal to have 12 homes completed for the quarter. As a consequence, the home was not prepared for the final walk through due to incomplete or poorly completed work. Our realtor had to intervene on our behalf several times to ensure we were sold a home safe enough for occupancy. I closed on my home and a couple months later, several repairs have not been taken care of despite multiple communication with various staff who basically bounce you around.

Other home buyers should be welcomed by a properly trained manager able to assess and answer the multiple issues that normally arises in the process of buying a new property. This manager should shield the buyer from everyone of the Lennar employees that have little to no training on how to deal with Customers. I suggest to start training Mr Jaime from the Closing Coordination.

This company is focused on just pushing numbers out the door rather than customer satisfaction. The overall experience has been very disappointing as I'm still waiting for my home to be completed as we approach 2 months after the date of closing. I was offered an incentive to close on the original closing date (didn't really have a choice) and told the house would be ready within 30 days. So much wrong with our new build it is crazy and after speaking with neighbors in the community several others are having similar issues with the quality of work and issues on their homes. Had I known I would have never bought with Lennar and will not buy a home in future from this builder nor recommend them. Our home was also delayed a month on closing and issues we wanted fixed still were not done and more issues were found upon moving in. Towel wall rack fell out of the wall, tile in bathroom needs to be redone in shower, insulation left out of walls upstairs, baseboards and trim cut too ...

We were out of state buyers. I wouldn’t recommend using Lennar if you are in a similar situation. They are not equipped to handle you properly.

I really hate to speak poorly of any company but I do wish that someone has warned me about Lennar. They are a big company building lots of houses and it’s easy to get lost. They have lots of small divisions each of which own an element of your selling/building/closing experience. It was really hard to know who to call for what or how to get updates (we lived out of state). The final walk through and resolution of outstanding issues was terrible! I can’t recommend them in good conscience.

We had a rough experience from start to finish. I highly recommend being patient with the team as behind the scenes; they are working with a whole town of issues from third parties errors and neglect. I feel it's more on the contractors than Lennar themselves. Rest assured, Tony from our area has empathy and will work hard to make sure the issues get resolved. It takes some time. Our turnaround for matters to be resolved is about 30 days or less. We are shocked to see a new home is in such poor condition and has so many shortcuts, which lead to other issues. Over all my experience with Lennar was not so good as I expected. Everyone wants to buy a house at least in so good condition as seen visiting demo house. But unfortunatelly Lennar has a lot space for improvement... Twice was changed the closing date...it costs me, of course. My experience with purchasing this home has been nothing but frustrating. Their communication amongst the different departments need a lot of work. Be very diligent with who you work with,. Their underwriting department has “dropped the ball” and seems to be very disorganized. Horrible, will not buy from Lennar ever again

The issues started as soon as I closed, faulty main door (not locking nor closing), missing components inside the house, missing cabinets, food left in the fridge by the crew, there about 18 items still not completed by Lennar. And of course the promised of reimbursing for my expenses for the faulty main door was 6 weeks the estimated amount to get the money back and of course, nothing.

This is my 3rd new construction home and without a doubt it was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I spent a fortune on airline tickets (canceled flights, last minute rebooking, lost rental car, Uber) to get to the “blue tape walk through” to find my home without: a/c, water heater, toilets, countertops, broken windows…the list goes on. Unfortunately this time around, buying lennar was not a legendary experience. Lots of delays, cancel inspection without prior notifications, final closing postponed x3-4 times. Too many Customer care representatives and no one up front to attend the customer concerns.. I was asked to close on the house that was not ready, i was told that everything would be fixed within a couple days however after two months the house is still not ready as multiple issues reminds unsolved and no one at Lennar homes will give me a straight answer or timeline.
