My experience with purchasing this home has been nothing but frustrating. Their communication amongst the different departments need a lot of work. Be very diligent with who you work with,. Their underwriting department has “dropped the ball” and seems to be very disorganized. I don't think Lennar is in sink with all of there offices. whey will call you for closing when the home is not ready. if you give then 10 week heads up that you will be on Military orders they don't care and still set you up to close that day even if the home is not done. I think the next time we start looking for a new home we will start by looking for a new builder.

At first I was happy and seemed things started off smooth pre qual and home contract but later throughout the process became very sour and stressful. Our loan officer lacked communication through the entire process and failed to disclose certain information until day of closing. At times it felt earning our business wasn’t as important and we had to work harder to even make closing possible. I was happy with the home but not happy with the process. Garage didn’t finish until last minute. Refrigerator has problems since August 2023. It is still not fixed yet. Lennar said will order a new one for me. But never did. Now I’m still waiting for fixing the refrigerator. Closing check documents have not sent to HOA. Don’t know when I can get it.

You have a very good product, but the customer experience has been worse than terrible. You have demonstrated no interest at all in the concerns and challenges that your clients might have and you expect all flexibility to change things on your side, but are not willing to give any flexibility to your client.

Lennar builds a structurally sound home. The quality of workmanship and materials for what you pay is TERRIBLE. They build the home and you will spend months getting warranty work done. They have been great to repair what we find. The problem is you have to find it to get it fixed. The rates with their mortgage company and fee are more expensive than outside. The solar through them is a lot more costly than if you went outside of Lennar. Most builders will have certain companies as preferred lenders, solar, etc but Lennar uses its own subsidiaries and YOU PAY THE PRICE!

This was the worst home buying experience ever! From the beginning to the end! Lennar has gone from using decent materials to the cheapest materials they can find! The grass had to be replaced and that was a hassle to get done, the garage floor edge broke and we told nothing can be done, the landscaping is terrible. The tress were put in incorrect and they refused to fix them and now they are broken. We are being told it’s our responsibility to get them fix! They don’t even put up towel racks or toilet paper holders. I can go and on but I think you get the jist ! We definitely should of gone ...

I've purchased three houses in my lifetime, but none of the experiences compare to the terrible service provided by Lennar. Starting with the sales team, they are excessively pushy and pressure you into making impulsive decisions. They employ scare tactics and provide misleading information about the property. I strongly advise against making impulsive decisions and recommend thoroughly checking all sales information before making a purchase. Other home buyers should be welcomed by a properly trained manager able to assess and answer the multiple issues that normally arises in the process of buying a new property. This manager should shield the buyer from everyone of the Lennar employees that have little to no training on how to deal with Customers. I suggest to start training Mr Jaime from the Closing Coordination.

Horrible, will not buy from Lennar ever again

The issues started as soon as I closed, faulty main door (not locking nor closing), missing components inside the house, missing cabinets, food left in the fridge by the crew, there about 18 items still not completed by Lennar. And of course the promised of reimbursing for my expenses for the faulty main door was 6 weeks the estimated amount to get the money back and of course, nothing.

Lennar provides one of the lowest price-per-square-foot homes in our area. That is the best part of our home buying experience with them. This is our third property we have purchased, and it is our first with Lennar. We used Lennar title and Lennar mortgage hoping the process would be seamless as they are all connected. This was the worst home buying experience we have ever had. A ton of miscommunication and mistakes were made, and just a lack of ownership from all Lennar companies. They do not care about anything other than getting your money. They could not care less if the process goes smoothly, correctly or if you are satisfied. I’m still waiting for repairs to be completed from my closing over four months ago. In addition I’m in the middle of fighting tooth and nail to get someone out to repair a roof leak that has caused extensive water damage and now black mold which has rendered three rooms in my house unable to be used. My kids are crammed into other rooms now. I’ve documented everything and even called management multiple times with now follow up. The entire process has been horrendous as a first time home buyer.

When I first came to look at a home. My realtor told me the house was white and it ended up being purple during my walk through. Also workers used my bathroom and left me a present and the house was not cleaned when given to me. Worst experience ever.

Two months after my closing, I haven't received my keys yet. Nobody from Lennar is capable of giving me a straight answer. I don't get why you rush the closing like crazy if you are not ready to provide me with my keys. Really disappointed at the level of service provided by Lennar. It's like there is no management at all in this company. Nobody takes any responsibility.
