The initial sales contact was pleasant and the new home sales agent kept in touch until a deal that fit my budget could be met. I've learned with other sales agents and this one that the tone goes from professional to unprofessional once contracts were signed. Total nightmare with mold on the build in multiple places, but the regional sales managers worked to get me into another home. The new home presented with craftsmanship issues before move in that still have not been addressed almost 90 days past closing. Lennar is too big and has lost sight of the customer. Homebuying processes were very difficult to navigate and communication from Lennar departments was seriously lacking and very frustrating. Pre-close walk-thru was very rushed and buyers are threatened if talk of delaying closing occurs...even when the home is not complete. Quality/workmanship is seriously lacking and below anything I've ever experienced; door-frames are not square (binding doors), cabinet doors are not straight/aligned, appliances don't work, and several other issues). This was my first time purchasing a home. I thought it was going to be amazing, but I would never recommend Lennar homes. I was not able to do a walk through until the morning of closing. After closing thinking the improvements would be worked on during the day after the walk through to come back at night to move in with half the house without electricity. The home was not cleaned prior to moving in. the fridge needed to be replaced thank goodness that was done, cabinets have dings in them. the tile is not leveled. there are unleveled areas of the walls. the carpets have nails sticking out of ...

I would say make sure everything is the way you want it before you sign. Everything that we have submitted work orders on that was not finished I did myself. Horrible experience

So disappointed with all the problems

So disappointed with all the problems we have had. From being threatened with penalties to pay if we did not close when Lennar wanted (house had many defects) didn't even had many doors on interior for over 4 months. Lennar NEVER showing up to perform work orders when scheduled. Took forever to get response for scheduling. So sad our very first brand new home to be soooo disappointed!

I highly recommend RUNNING away from any Lennar neighborhood. This is a joke of a home buying process and they should be out of business.

Lennar tried to close our home when house wasn't ready. We did Walk through 2 times but items didn't fix. Lennar pushed us to close the house and said they will charge us for each day if we push the closing date later. Finance team wasn't knowledgeble enough and they made a mistake on cash to close amount.

Contractors workmanship very poor Appliances supplied very poor and cheap manufactured 2002 Does not keep their promises on the repairs They rush you through the closing and promised to finish the remaining repairs on varies things and was poorly done Items used on the house very poor quality . I will never purchase house under the Lennar name or recommend them .

New house with old house problems.

As far as the home buying process it is easy and simple but the quality in workmanship around the house it is extremely poor. Everything in the house is built too fast therefore the house have problems just like an old house. I already got multiple problems on a "new" house. Lennar will tell you that everything in the house has warranty which it does but, you have to take out of your time to fix problems they made while building the house. Also, it takes them a long time to fix anything. I bought a new house to not have problems of an old house.

I will not recommend. They bullied me to close on Jan 31 because they wanted high numbers for the month when they knew that the property wasn't fully ready. Lights in the patio was out of order, plugs in the living room not connected, missing breaker for the Solar system, irrigation pipe for a housing plumbing pipe, wrong entry keys provided at closing. So no, I would not recommend or write a great review.

Home wasn’t ready when promised. Allowed to close without CO. Had to go to hotel. Oven didn’t fit. No kitchen for 3 weeks. Cabinets broken. House was dirty. Floor wasn’t laid level. Bumps and hills throughout. Hollow tiles throughout. Upstairs creeks. Grout not straight and spilled throughout the home. Doors not level. Stairs rails not secured. Grout accidentally used in stead of caulking. Made promises to have things done but almost 8 weeks and punch list still not done. Not even paint. Trades make appointments but never show. If we could get our money back we would move out. No one is happy ...

Horrible new home build- buyer beware

So much wrong with our new build it is crazy and after speaking with neighbors in the community several others are having similar issues with the quality of work and issues on their homes. Had I known I would have never bought with Lennar and will not buy a home in future from this builder nor recommend them. Our home was also delayed a month on closing and issues we wanted fixed still were not done and more issues were found upon moving in. Towel wall rack fell out of the wall, tile in bathroom needs to be redone in shower, insulation left out of walls upstairs, baseboards and trim cut too ...

I was asked to close on the house that was not ready, i was told that everything would be fixed within a couple days however after two months the house is still not ready as multiple issues reminds unsolved and no one at Lennar homes will give me a straight answer or timeline.

Very bad experience, I have called and even went to the office and no response with the things that need fixing, and we are still waiting for someone to respond to us. Absolutely horrible experience. Construction team left windows open and my floor and walls got soaked from the rain Over night. Then had to fight to have a remediation team come out. I have bought my house over 2 months and still have things on my list needed to be completed. They force a closing and was unable to meet the deadline of closing my house. They messed up my closing plans which had me ending up having to pay for a can for extra days. The. My house had over 16 issues and damaged appliances which still hasn’t been replaced. This has been the worst buying experience. They reach out and only make promises just to not come through with promises. I do not recommend.
