The doors and windows are a joke. Lennar is no longer focusing on quality, they focus strictly on profit. The repair people even say, the large sliders, are defective and poor quality. It takes 2 hands to operate and a lot of muscle. The sales team is great. I don't think I'd ever buy another home from a track builder. The plumbing is the cheapest of the cheap. Push fittings for turn offs. I mean they cut everywhere they can. My friend worked for lennar 20 years ago when they were worried about quality and profits equaly. I know they have to make money, but my god be reasonable.

A good experience with professionals who knows what they are doing

We moved from out of state and feel so lucky to have found Lennar. The process of buying from across the country was made easy and stress free with the virtual walk through and great communication that was fast and friendly. When we arrived at our new home in Lake Wales FL, it immediately felt like cozy and welcoming. Upon moving in and getting a chance to see it all up close, we are truly thankful and blessed to have such a quality built home. Solid and built to last through all that Florida can throw at it. We've watched the work crews during the day and I must say, these guys are hard workers! Not to mention very skilled! Used the cheapest of the cheapest. From materials, to plants, etc.

The experience we had with Lennar from start to finish was great. The people were all so helpful and friendly. We would recommend them to anyone who is looking to purchase a new home. They helped us out enormously and we got a great home for a great price.

The neighborhood is great, the layout of our home is perfect but the finishes are cheap and 2 months in, we are finding so many things wrong. We’ll be making a warranty claim very soon. Cracked tiles, holes where there shouldn’t be holes in the walls. Outlets that won’t hold a plug and are useless. The house was given to us with dirty floors, dirty bathrooms and bugs everywhere. Through hard work and long hours, we cleaned it up and made it nice. After we get Stuff fixed through warranty, I’ll be much happier with our new home.

My name is Angel, starting with the poor communication during the purchase process,I don’t know why they have a concierge because doesn’t help at all, changes in closing date without any notification, however everything was rushed in terms of requirements. My house went more than three months without being touched, leaving everything until the end. The quality of the materials used is cheap,for example the insulation where you can hear the person in the room next door, defective faucets, poorly calibrated air conditioning, touch-up paint that doesn't blend. When you walk in your yard you have to do so carefully because it feels like you're walking on the moon with the holes and unevenness it has, problems with the sprinklers, and many other things. My recommendation: if it weren't for the exclusivity of my community, the house would not be worth what it cost compared to other properties I own with Beazer, including KB Homes. I thought this is my first and last house from Lennar. To be fair the Custumer service department after buying is excellent in special Amy and Alexis. ... More

Bad experience to buy, great exoerience with sale agent, horrible closing with consierge

I recently purchased a home from Lennar Development, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. From start to finish, the process was smooth and professional. The quality of craftsmanship in my new home is outstanding, and the attention to detail truly exceeded my expectations. The team was responsive, knowledgeable, and always willing to answer any questions I had along the way. They made the home-buying process stress-free and enjoyable. I highly recommend Lennar to anyone looking for a well-built home and excellent customer service.

Walking into the Model Center & being greeted by Sales Consultant Bea, in a warm, inviting & professional manner, made a lasting first impression especially when my 1st stop elsewhere was the complete opposite experience! And, after showing me the homes and finding the one I was set up to contact Lennar Mortgage. And, Miguel & the entire team were all very professional, informative & helpful in walking me through the process from start of buying my new home to finish at closing! And, being my home was in such great condition at my initial walkthrough , finding only a few minor touch ups needed that the builders took care of on the spot I didn’t need a final walkthrough! We are not new to the home-buying rodeo, in fact, this was the 4th home we have bought since 1985 and by far, buying with Lennar was the best experience we have had with any other builder, or at any price-point. When we approached the Lennar home rep we already had 2 other builders about to work with us, but Lennar beat them both by calling us on our way back home while I was driving to get us prequalified, what a pleasant surprise! It was close to 11pm and the Lennar rep stayed with us all the way until he got us qualified! We also had a firm deadline to move out of our previous home, and Lennar magically got us approved AND closed in less than two weeks, I am sure no other builder would have done that. Every single Lennar employee who assisted us on this journey was immensely helpful and professional, and somehow they were able to offer us better pricing than the original quote, and in record time. I’m so excited that I bought the new house at the McLeod community area. From the beginning to the end, it was flawless process from the loan officer to the closing. I haven’t seen anything change from the commitment standpoint since I bought the home. I’m very happy with the community and the people who live there.

I would tell others about Lennar homes

Lennar provides one of the lowest price-per-square-foot homes in our area. That is the best part of our home buying experience with them. I advise you to carefully read the contract before signing it. Lennar Mortgage was unprofessional in many ways during our buying process. They leaked our private information to other parties. The mortgage agent was unorganized and falsely accused us of withholding financial information. Make sure you carefully inspect the home during the final walk-throughs. Our "fix-it" list, which was to be completed before the final walk-through, was unfinished and we had to debate with the superintendent to get them to clean up paint that had been spilled throughout the second story of the home. After closing and living in the home for a couple of weeks we found some more issues. Our living room was wired incorrectly. The sinks in the second-floor bathrooms were leaking immediately after we closed. They cut the granite countertops incorrectly causing the sinks to leak around the base of the faucet. The solution was to try another faucet and a lot of caulk. The faucet is the incorrect type for the countertop. It's not leaking anymore, but it's still not built correctly. Our sliding glass door handle just fell off last week (after 2 months of use). Thankfully, all of these issues are covered under the warranty. What happens when that warranty ends? We will have to pay for the repairs. Considering the challenges we've encountered during our home-buying experience, I will not buy another home from Lennar. If you have other options for buying a home, then I suggest you buy from someone else. ... More
