I don't feel the overall finish of the home lived up to the past reputation,

Be aware of the Move in Ready line. our house was not clean, the yard is 2 different types of sod, there were plumbing and electrical issues with the house that took 30 days to get corrected. I feel the corporation was in a rush to close and overlooked many quality issues. We will not buy another Lennar Home.

The whole process is very rushed and there is very little power given to the buyer at the end of the day. Although we had checkins and inspections, there was still no ability to see some of the issues that we needed to have addressed until after we moved in. Our representative has been terrific in getting theses addressed after the fact, but these issues should not have been present in the first place. 3 in particular are quite frustrating. 1 despite addressing concerns when we noticed these spots while reviewing videos during construction checkins, there are several large areas where a ...

Great Home for the Price...but After the Sale Good Luck Getting Fixes

Bought a home with Lennar at the end of March. Closing was moved up--I appreciate that. However, lots of little dents and scratches that were promised to be fixed after closing never occurred. I followed up time and time again and never heard back. I gave up and paid about $1500 to fix these items on my own. Note that the homes are built by teams of independent contractors--Lennar does not have their own teams building them. Workmanship can vary. Knowing what I know now, I would not close until all issues fixed.

What was supposed to be the house of my dreams has been filled with problems and average workmanship. The house was finished three months early, this should have been my first sign. Small details like the exterior and interior paint, carpentry, and the crumbling of my garage top the list. I requested a delay in closing due to surgery but no one responded. Then on the day of the closing, two hours prior, we were informed that Lennar postponed the closing due to an issue with the loan officer.

We were so excited to close on our new home! Until we walked in the door. The house wasn’t cleaned, drywall dust everywhere. The stove was sitting in the middle of the kitchen, the dishwasher or the disposal were not plugged in. So you know they weren’t tested to see if they worked. There was a huge dent in the top of the dryer that we saw a week before, but wasn’t replaced. There was 2 pages with pictures of problems we notice on the first walkthrough that still weren’t addressed on our closing day. Unfortunately this time around, buying lennar was not a legendary experience. Lots of delays, cancel inspection without prior notifications, final closing postponed x3-4 times. Too many Customer care representatives and no one up front to attend the customer concerns.. Do want to thank Mrs Oliveira from title/closing for her professionalism and Mr Mike McCarthy for his attention to detail.

Hello. I would equate my buying experience with Lennar to be average. Closing was delayed multiple times due to obvious supply chain issues. Communication was above average but the attention to detail in the construction of my home was lacking. Cleanliness was a problem and Multiple punch list issues were recorded AFTER my closing with no clear direction on how they would be addressed. As a realtor in another state, I was surprised with the quality of Lennar here in Tampa. We expected much more than what we received. Comparing the quality and finishing of new homes in Houston and Orlando, the quality and attention to details here are far away from the standard of Lennar in those areas. New in town, we decided to give it a try to Lennar instead of DR Horton (our previous home was DR Horton) and wasn't impressed at all. The mortgage process with Lennar mortgage was very easy and efficient. The actual process after moving in became a nightmare for us dealing with customer service and quality of workmanship. If you sign off on issues that you notice on your walk thru before your closing, you will most likely encounter all sorts of problems trying to get things repaired. Most of our issues have since been resolved after numerous complaints being sent to Lennar.

Home was not ready for closing , because there were so many things wrong! The most serious was the upstairs bedroom floor was ready to crash through. This was because it was not inspected as they had stated. The downstairs ceiling was cracking too! Appliance were damaged and dirty! Damaged windows installed! Sloppy workmanship and many other issues. Not a great experience! I can’t believe they would risk people lives like that!

Lennars sales personnel is great. Unfortunately that's where it ends. It must be the material and labor shortage because the workmanship leaves a lot to be desired we have been in this house for nearly two months now and are still waiting for the work to be completed.(front door and frame along with all the closet doors and cabinets has to be replaced inside the house has to be repainted)I hope this is not the Lennars MO if it is I believe your reputation will suffer

The experience was not good and that’s being kind. The mortgage person had no idea what was going on. The setup of the first 3 homes upon moving in left use not knowing who any of the utilities where going to be we had to figure it out ourselves. 2 month later we where able to get internet but are still waiting for mailbox’s. And the craftsmanship shows that everything was just slapped together as fast as possible and getting someone to fix the issues was a waste of time I have done most of what I asked to be done myself. And the house was filthy for buying a brand new home.

Felt there was no pride in the craftsmanship and that the house was rushed for a completion date. To have things looked at or fixed, you have to call incessantly. Overall we have a very nice home but the process has been full of headaches and challenges.

To summarize, I have bought 2 properties with Lennar, in the first one I had problems but I thought it was an exception but in the second time I had problems again so I finally decided to file a service request or complaint, that was more than a month ago and I still have not received response even though I sent it again due to the lack of response. It was addressed to customer service and the person responsible for that area. I hope that these surveys are reviewed and activate improvement processes and customer responses. thank you so much
