I've purchased three houses in my lifetime, but none of the experiences compare to the terrible service provided by Lennar. Starting with the sales team, they are excessively pushy and pressure you into making impulsive decisions. They employ scare tactics and provide misleading information about the property. I strongly advise against making impulsive decisions and recommend thoroughly checking all sales information before making a purchase. Additionally, the sales team will email you the contract but fail to go through it with you to explain any details. The lender team also significantly increases charges without bringing them to your attention. It seems as though they are aware that most buyers don't understand their confusing C2C statements and won't spend much time questioning them. Even if you manage to catch discrepancies by comparing C2C statements with those of other Lennar home buyers, they will attempt to distract you with mind games. I recommend hiring a lawyer or an educated individual who understands closings well to validate their charges. For example, the HOA contribution fee was stated as $100 in the flyer and contract, but they charged me $1050 in the C2C estimate. It's essential to check the loan rate lock, as they may still impose a delay fee on you if home delivery is late due to internal construction issues. There are countless issues you will encounter with the team, and it's incredibly frustrating. While their home quality is good (which is why I bought three houses from them), I had my lawyer help me validate the details for the second and third houses. Garage didn’t finish until last minute. Refrigerator has problems since August 2023. It is still not fixed yet. Lennar said will order a new one for me. But never did. Now I’m still waiting for fixing the refrigerator. Closing check documents have not sent to HOA. Don’t know when I can get it.

Have had the worst experience buying a home from Lennar. They do not live up to their expencacy. Its all about.meeting the nubers for them. They dont care or are concern with pleasing their clients.

Lennar tried to close our home when house wasn't ready. We did Walk through 2 times but items didn't fix. Lennar pushed us to close the house and said they will charge us for each day if we push the closing date later. Finance team wasn't knowledgeble enough and they made a mistake on cash to close amount.

The experience had good and bad things. The Loan Officer never replied when needed. The sales guy was 90% for us there. The other 10% was acceptable because of course he had to take days off. The title officers were 60% helpful, we had too many times to try to reach them. The Constructor manager replied after 3 days. So it looks like Lenar employees are too busy to reply to a buying customer. Other than that we are very happy, we are now in our new home, Very nice. Nice design. Thank you Lennar!. Now we have new issues, the HOA takes too much time to reply to the requests like for example if you want to put a Fence in your yard (the wild animals don't wait, they just come to our yard in the night). If you want to put a patio (it rains every day) in your yard, a request to be approved takes forever. Additionally to this, the streets are just dark, with no light during the night... you need to put your motion lights in your garage doors, or so... ... More

Our first thought is, there was no attention to detail. Very poor quality and workmanship. It seemed to us that the general contractor did not do any walkthroughs. Prior to closing we did our own inspection, there was missing insulation (completely missing from the front of the house) and the electrical box was not grounded, two major issues, which we wouldn’t have known if it wasn’t because of our inspection. We noticed a lot of imperfections on our walls, floors, paint, dry wall and ceilings. They are putting these homes up “fast” and not ensuring quality at all. With that said, our closing was delayed almost three months. After closing we have had leak issues and grading issues, to name a few. Customer service is spotty at best and can be unresponsive at times. Closing was a complete chaos (we used the builders company) and a total disappointment, worse part of the whole process. Two months after my closing, I haven't received my keys yet. Nobody from Lennar is capable of giving me a straight answer. I don't get why you rush the closing like crazy if you are not ready to provide me with my keys. Really disappointed at the level of service provided by Lennar. It's like there is no management at all in this company. Nobody takes any responsibility.

Despite purchasing the townhome in pre-sale after it was delivered to me, Lennar offered larger houses at lower prices.

The home loan experience was horrible with lennar. So many issues with the house after 60 days and still not resolved. Hopefully they will come and fix some issues soon. Some repairs are still waiting to get fixed and I’m sure they already forgot what ones. They told me after 30 days the painters will come in and do a touch up. Still have not seen them yet. My wife went and bought a bucket of paint to do our own touch ups. Not happy about that at all. Poor craftsman ship with the home in general.

Was a good experience everything finished very quickly and house looking good

1. Have it written into the sales agreement that the lawn & landscaping will be delivered in a condition that is acceptable to the buyer (modify this wording). At closing the grass was over 12 inches and Lennar refused to resolve. Likewise with the actual sod which had been laid haphazardly to such an extent that in places one could roll their ankle if they were not careful. 2. Review the HOA Agreement and gain an understanding of what rules are superseded by the CDD (Community Development District). example "Street Parking". Sales agent affirmed that the HOA prohibits street parking. However the CDD does not and the CDD is the governing body. 3. Lennar's catch phrase "Everything's Included" should be modified to "Nothing's Included". We were a repeat customer where previous purchase included Washer & Dryer, Glass Shower Door in Master Bath, and Ceiling Fans. All of these items have since been excluded. 4.Lennar sales rep, Lennar title rep, Lennar Mrtg rep and Lennar Warranty rep have all been very responsive to all other issues. ... More

Astonia is a gorgeous, peaceful community with spacious homesites for a variety. Good managers are great communicators, active listeners, and amazing supporters.

The entire process of buying my house with Lennar was outstanding from start to finish. The quality and value of the house cannot be better. The Lennar Team did a great job since I started filling out my application until closing. They always responded immediately. After the closing, any request for maintenance/repairs were addressed immediately. I highly recommend Lennar to any person wanted to buy a property. You’ll not be disappointed.

My home buying experience was horrible. It started from the salesman to the loan officer. They lacked customer service skills, respect, and information. For all the trouble I went thru to purchase my home, in the end it was not worth it. So many defiencies, lack of workmanship, and the lack of responsibility. I would not recommend Lennar to anyone. I wish I would have done my homework beforehand.

Working with Lennar was Amazing we had an excellent experience. They made the home buying process so easy and we are so happy with our new home. I am glad we decided to move forward I can honestly say it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life.

I'd like a Lennar representative to call me and discuss some of the issues in my new home. It is not fair to deliver a finished product product like my house. Thank you.

Contractors workmanship very poor Appliances supplied very poor and cheap manufactured 2002 Does not keep their promises on the repairs They rush you through the closing and promised to finish the remaining repairs on varies things and was poorly done Items used on the house very poor quality . I will never purchase house under the Lennar name or recommend them .

In order to closing, rush everything, the quality can imagine, hope they will increase the quality.

Workmanship is absolutely not known by contractors finish details are ignored the whole experience has been a nightm

Everything was wonderful until the end of the month of August came. We were scheduled to close on 9/8/2023 and for some reason they pushed it to 8/30/3023. My husband and I took the day off, drove in the middle of a hurricane to the location we were told to be only to realize no one else was in the parking lot and and we contacted them they had forgotten to tell us it had been moved to 8/31/2023, which we were worried we couldn't go because we couldn't just ask our boss to let us have the next day off as well. If that had only been the only bad thing... 8/31/2023 came and we thought we weren't going to close because the county had denied the Certificate of Occupancy but miraculously were able to go to the closing. They had offered a mobile notary due to the uncertainty of us being able to go during work hours, which was a good thing because even though I had submitted a request to change the way they had my husband's name they never did so it needed to be reprinted about 3 times. We were in the office until about 10pm - 11pm, the wait wasn't horrible but it seemed they decided to close a lot of homes that day. When we closed they didn't have our keys but thankfully the house had a smart lock so we could go in with a code. But when we went into the house it was disgusting. Construction debris everywhere, the garage had doors and trims. Every surface of the house had dust, the guest bathroom tub was filthy. Later we would find out that the construction team had NO idea the house had cleared to close so they never prepared it for closing. Of course with the house not being cleared to close there were also items still not finished. Thankfully though Lennar HAS been amazing in this regard and the moment we find something that is missing or broken they fix it within a week or less. Every single person we speak with has been wonderful in their attention and service. The house itself, after the items on the list were taken care of, is wonderful. I'm just left with being upset that my first ever home buying experience was this. I wanted to walk into my new home and be overjoyed my years long dream had finally come true and instead I needed my inhaler due to all the dust... ... More

As far as the home buying process it is easy and simple but the quality in workmanship around the house it is extremely poor. Everything in the house is built too fast therefore the house have problems just like an old house. I already got multiple problems on a "new" house. Lennar will tell you that everything in the house has warranty which it does but, you have to take out of your time to fix problems they made while building the house. Also, it takes them a long time to fix anything. I bought a new house to not have problems of an old house.
