I will not recommend. They bullied me to close on Jan 31 because they wanted high numbers for the month when they knew that the property wasn't fully ready. Lights in the patio was out of order, plugs in the living room not connected, missing breaker for the Solar system, irrigation pipe for a housing plumbing pipe, wrong entry keys provided at closing. So no, I would not recommend or write a great review.

I live in Utah and purchased a Lennar home in champions gate Davenport FL to Airbnb. After I closed, my agent Jag gave me the number to a guy named Aaron with Lennar who he said would take care of helping me with warranty issues. I traveled to the house to furnish and decorate and while there I called. I texted. I called again and again. Left message after message for weeks with zero response. I know Aaron was receiving my texts because it said “read” after I sent texts. He also butt dialed me but didn’t answer when I called back. After a dog-eat-dog approach to commandeering a home in this subdivision the work preformed for the value is subpar. Multiple neighbors and I have had things break within the first 30 days (lights falling out of celilings, towel racks coming out of the walls etc). Also the paint within the home is so thinly applied that if you wipe it you will meet drywall. All indoor walls must be painted after move in to support the structure of the home. I would also always encourage any home buyer to pay for a private home inspection prior to closing.

I expected a much more pleasant first time home buyer experience. There was a lack of transparency, honesty, and I wish the process would have gone smoother. I love being in my home, however, certain issues could have been communicated more clearly and handled better. Quality over quantity!

I just bought a property at lennar at Lakeland. This is the worst experience I have ever have. They took 2 months to install the motorway and shelves. The ceiling over the island kitchen is already leaking. There is water from the ceiling and leaking over the island kitchen. 2 months.

Lennar is too big and has lost sight of the customer. Homebuying processes were very difficult to navigate and communication from Lennar departments was seriously lacking and very frustrating. Pre-close walk-thru was very rushed and buyers are threatened if talk of delaying closing occurs...even when the home is not complete. Quality/workmanship is seriously lacking and below anything I've ever experienced; door-frames are not square (binding doors), cabinet doors are not straight/aligned, appliances don't work, and several other issues). Home wasn’t ready when promised. Allowed to close without CO. Had to go to hotel. Oven didn’t fit. No kitchen for 3 weeks. Cabinets broken. House was dirty. Floor wasn’t laid level. Bumps and hills throughout. Hollow tiles throughout. Upstairs creeks. Grout not straight and spilled throughout the home. Doors not level. Stairs rails not secured. Grout accidentally used in stead of caulking. Made promises to have things done but almost 8 weeks and punch list still not done. Not even paint. Trades make appointments but never show. We have been living in the residence for a month and a half and there is still an unpainted door, we have not been given the door lock to the garage and the worst thing is that nobody answers our calls or e-mails. After the closing, they play the fool.

The mortgage process with Lennar mortgage was very easy and efficient. The actual process after moving in became a nightmare for us dealing with customer service and quality of workmanship. If you sign off on issues that you notice on your walk thru before your closing, you will most likely encounter all sorts of problems trying to get things repaired. Most of our issues have since been resolved after numerous complaints being sent to Lennar.

Closing was scheduled by Lennar before all work completed. The front door was painted while we have final walkthrough on the date of closing. Many substandard jobs was done in a rush. The construction manager and customer care team were very responsible and took care of many left over jobs.

The process of picking out and paying for the home was simple enough however the contact for using lennar mortgage and getting the unfinished work completed has been another story. Lennar pushes incentives to close quicker but did not use them, I ask to buy down the rate but all they did was 1/8 point leaving over $10k of incentive unused. The other item pushing the close was that the property was unfinished and I have yet to hear back on when it will be completed. Lennar needs to have better customer service!

The home was poorly finished. Lennar massively delayed completion, cut corners on construction quality to try to force completion, and skimped on promised appliances and fixtures. I am repeat buyer from Lennar, but my experience was so poor this time that I will not buy another home from Lennar and advice friends against it as well.

The whole home buying experience was incredibly stressful. My agent was hardly involved, never met in person, even though she was directly in front of me, and acted as if it was a favor to me to sell me a home; not to mention the actual bidding process is a bit of a nightmare. Home was not ready for closing , because there were so many things wrong! The most serious was the upstairs bedroom floor was ready to crash through. This was because it was not inspected as they had stated. The downstairs ceiling was cracking too! Appliance were damaged and dirty! Damaged windows installed! Sloppy workmanship and many other issues. Not a great experience! I can’t believe they would risk people lives like that!

There had been a lot of inconveniences with my property, including the flight I made from Colombia in august because you told me that there was no option to sign in September and where I lost the money for the trip because the closing of the house was more than one month later. Every time that we have raised a question or a complaint, we have not received an answer from the Lennar team or it has been full of references about the deposit and the contract.
