Lets start at the beginning. We came to Veranda preserve to purchase twin homes, for my wife and I, and for our daughters to live next door., Mind you we lived in the Tampa Area, before the purchase. First we told the salesperson that showed the homes, that we didn't want an electric compartment outside our home. Next we asked about fencing in both yards, without a divider fence. After we left the agent kept telling us what lots we were purchasing, but being a distance, we thought we were getting the house with the wood plank tile. All I can say is no one pays attention to detail. I don’t care what you pay for a home. You should still pay attention to details. Paint on the tile, poor caulking of the tile. Really cheap paint on the walls barely put one coat of paint on the walls ! The garage floor has all kinds of stress cracks. I’m gonna have a home inspection done on the home in the 11th month since the house has a 12 month warranty and guarantee I’m sure there will be problems found. I talked to other homeowners who had inspections done, and there was at least 20 to 30 items that needed to be taken care of under ...

After living in the home for a little more than a month we have come to find some issues with the cheapness of some of the materials used to buld the home and the lack of quality on the home build itself. With the amount that we paid for the home we expected better but it not just and issue with Lennar its generally with j ome builders as a whole these days. Lack of workmanship, quality and corners being cut to save money for the builders

Lennar makes some beautiful home, and the process and quick. My only issue is the information the sales and construction manager did not provide the correct information. For example landscaping. They told me I will need to maintain my lawn.which is fine. I specifically ask who maintains the lakes lawn. I was told the HOA will. It’s part of the Masters fee. But that wasn’t true And other issues is I ask about the lake behind my house. I ask was there anything in the lake. I was told no it’s a man made lake. Lauren & Gina were the best people throughout the purchase. Still waiting on things they were going to complete that were pending from the second walkthrough tape was never removed. Waited 4 days for the money back after I was told that in 24 hours I was going to receive it. I purchased 2 houses in less than 2 years . Any way after all that…I love my house.

I was very satisfied with the sales people and the closing process. Lennar has this well organized and very easy for the buyer. The home is solid and everything works well. I have owned twelve hones, including four new builds. My Lennar home has had the usual minor items that needed attention: things like trim paint on the ceiling, a minor door adjustment and some caulking that was needed. Nice Home But Poor Quality Paint / materials and Pests

Some of the paint on a few of the doors started to chip in less than a week of moving in without anything touching or irritating paint. Owner is responsible for fixing that as builder will not fix. Small entry holes throughout the home especially back door for an abundance of ants and other similar creatures to come in despite alleged pest control treatment completed prior to moving in. Pay attention to irrigation system and water meters as first utility bill EXTREMELY high despite not having ANY leaks in home

Times have changed, so my expectatiions were not met as I had hoped. Many new relationships start out with lots of optimism and presumed expectations. I love the new home, however, I found the whole transaction impersonal. I did not meet any of the persons I interacted with over the months in person. I met a notary at closing. The first walk through of the home I highlighted a lot of things that needed to be fixed. Second walk through was the same day as my closing day (very inconvenient) nothing was fixed. The home looked the same as the first walk through.

My home buying for me was a great experience. I had no issues with the sales person the contractors. My realtor was very great all of the personnel that handled everything that needed to be done with my home buying was excellent. I had a few hiccups, but nothing major and it was resolved in a timely manner, I would prefer Leonard to all of my family and friends. I love my home by Lennar. I am happy with Lennar my only complaint they did not put Gutters on all the homes as I can see Meritage Homes Builder did with the homes they build on the other side of Lennar community. Even if the gutters were wrapped in the purchase price would have been a good thing.

My loan office was top of the line. He did all he could to make sure everything went well. Not too fond of tile because the person I dealt with was very slow to respond to queries. The house is beautiful. Only thing I would change is the quality of the interior walls. The walls are literally paper. You can’t even use a wet rag to wipe it. It will fall apart.
