Lets start at the beginning. We came to Veranda preserve to purchase twin homes, for my wife and I, and for our daughters to live next door., Mind you we lived in the Tampa Area, before the purchase. First we told the salesperson that showed the homes, that we didn't want an electric compartment outside our home. Next we asked about fencing in both yards, without a divider fence. After we left the agent kept telling us what lots we were purchasing, but being a distance, we thought we were getting the house with the wood plank tile. Well at the first home walk through we were shown the the wrong home with the electrical compartment out on the lawn, and no wood plank tile flooring. Then come to find out WE HAD to install a divider fence WE still cant program the Ring doorbell and the Schlage deadbolt. Did the reset on the Ring quite a few times, and it wont connect. The Schlage deadbolts lights wont come on to program it. And just this week we had the AC go out. There was water in the pan. We drained the pan and line, but next morning the pan was full of water. The AC got fixed after we call Lennar for no AC. The problem was the drainage line was not properly installed, and the water wouldn't drain because of the angle of the hose. Then there is the minor things, like opening up the refrigerator, and the door hits the light switch. and Cabinet door handles hit the walls when opening. Oh lets not forget getting the glue off the floors or the sprinklers flooding both sides of the back ward. Being a Realtor, I shake my head at all the false things we were told, and the poor designing of the cabinets and refrigerator. I will be surprised if I ever get a response to this. All I can say is no one pays attention to detail. I don’t care what you pay for a home. You should still pay attention to details. Paint on the tile, poor caulking of the tile. Really cheap paint on the walls barely put one coat of paint on the walls ! The garage floor has all kinds of stress cracks. I’m gonna have a home inspection done on the home in the 11th month since the house has a 12 month warranty and guarantee I’m sure there will be problems found. I talked to other homeowners who had inspections done, and there was at least 20 to 30 items that needed to be taken care of under warranty I could nitpick all day long. You guys could’ve buried the gutter system instead of putting some cheap green gutter spill overs for the gutters. The garbage disposal is loud and noisy. The kitchen sink is cheap. I know you get what you pay for the placement of the toilet paper holders were not even in a good place like I said I could go on and on I could really care less at this point. The garage door is really noisy for no reason I’ve lubricated it and it’s still noisy. But who are you gonna complain to? Nobody’s gonna listen anyway. ... More

After living in the home for a little more than a month we have come to find some issues with the cheapness of some of the materials used to buld the home and the lack of quality on the home build itself. With the amount that we paid for the home we expected better but it not just and issue with Lennar its generally with j ome builders as a whole these days. Lack of workmanship, quality and corners being cut to save money for the builders

Lennar makes some beautiful home, and the process and quick. My only issue is the information the sales and construction manager did not provide the correct information. For example landscaping. They told me I will need to maintain my lawn.which is fine. I specifically ask who maintains the lakes lawn. I was told the HOA will. It’s part of the Masters fee. But that wasn’t true And other issues is I ask about the lake behind my house. I ask was there anything in the lake. I was told no it’s a man made lake. Come to find out there is two alligators in it. Now I can’t let my small dogs out or my kids. It’s just a lot of small questions that was provided incorrect information Other than that I love my new house! ... More

There was a bees nest which was removed and the missing paint in the corner was supposed to be painted over. Job never done.

Lauren & Gina were the best people throughout the purchase. Still waiting on things they were going to complete that were pending from the second walkthrough tape was never removed. Waited 4 days for the money back after I was told that in 24 hours I was going to receive it. I purchased 2 houses in less than 2 years . Any way after all that…I love my house.

House wasn’t cleaned professionally before closing. Only can report issues that you see during walkthrough. After that it’s a battle.

Have an inspection prior to moving in.

I could bore you with a full story of my experience, but this was our first home buying moment and it was worth it...

I was very satisfied with the sales people and the closing process. Lennar has this well organized and very easy for the buyer. The home is solid and everything works well. I have owned twelve hones, including four new builds. My Lennar home has had the usual minor items that needed attention: things like trim paint on the ceiling, a minor door adjustment and some caulking that was needed. Trent and alyssa, my Lennar contacts were always plesant, responsive and cooperative in meeting my requests. My home came as a plain vanilla house. I spent the extra money to paint the interior with top quality paint instead of the builder's grade paint that came standard. 22It now looks fantastic. I also upgraded the kitchen cabinets with nicer doors and hardware and top quality appliances and I am very pleased with my new custom-look kitchen. Overall, I am satisfied with my new home and think it was a very good value for a large home on the water. I like the club house and fitness center. It is well-run and has many nice events and activities. Everyone at Lennar Veranda has been helpful cheerful and responsive. I thank you. ... More

Benjamin was wonderful. Extremely knowledgeable. The staff is a true asset to Lennar. Especially Trent. Get's the job done. A true winner to your company. No matter what the situation is he is always pleasant and extremely helpful follows up and makes sure the job is completed and done correctly.

Some of the paint on a few of the doors started to chip in less than a week of moving in without anything touching or irritating paint. Owner is responsible for fixing that as builder will not fix. Small entry holes throughout the home especially back door for an abundance of ants and other similar creatures to come in despite alleged pest control treatment completed prior to moving in. Pay attention to irrigation system and water meters as first utility bill EXTREMELY high despite not having ANY leaks in home

Times have changed, so my expectatiions were not met as I had hoped. Many new relationships start out with lots of optimism and presumed expectations. I love the new home, however, I found the whole transaction impersonal. I did not meet any of the persons I interacted with over the months in person. I met a notary at closing. First walk through had issues. Some were addressed by the second walk through and still working on completing other issues that are still being realized now. I was disappointed by not getting closing gift (even a card). I was told that I received many incentives, so I will accept that as my gift from Lennar. I am using my warranty to addressed issues that are coming as the days weeks go by. ... More

Overall comment is more than satisfactory dealing with the entire staff from the sales person to the financial process.

I am happy with my new home but have issues that need to be addressed. All the people I worked with in the buying process were very professional and helpful.

The first walk through of the home I highlighted a lot of things that needed to be fixed. Second walk through was the same day as my closing day (very inconvenient) nothing was fixed. The home looked the same as the first walk through.

My home buying for me was a great experience. I had no issues with the sales person the contractors. My realtor was very great all of the personnel that handled everything that needed to be done with my home buying was excellent. I had a few hiccups, but nothing major and it was resolved in a timely manner, I would prefer Leonard to all of my family and friends. The price of the house was excellent in my price range that I was looking for everything was just great and I am just loving my new home. I am a first time homebuyer and it was a great experience for me and I just want to thank all of Leonard’s personnel. Insurance companies were all great and I really thank them for everything that they did for me in processing and buying my home thanks to everyone. Great job well done. ... More

Their after sales support has been much better than expected. Since the closing, every request we've had has been attended too promptly and professionally. Macki and her bosses have been excellent

I love my home by Lennar. I am happy with Lennar my only complaint they did not put Gutters on all the homes as I can see Meritage Homes Builder did with the homes they build on the other side of Lennar community. Even if the gutters were wrapped in the purchase price would have been a good thing.

The process was very easy and streamlined. Most of the process was online and convenient…even my closing was online. Great staff from sales, lending, quality control to vendors. They were very responsive to any question or issue I had. I’m extremely happy with my decision

Lennar staff was unprofessional and didn't answer emails or phone calls in a timely manner. My experience with the was horrible!

This was my first home buying experience and Lennar made the process seamless! Everyone I worked with through the process was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Excellent craftsmanship on the home. Highly recommend Lennar!

My loan office was top of the line. He did all he could to make sure everything went well. Not too fond of tile because the person I dealt with was very slow to respond to queries. The house is beautiful. Only thing I would change is the quality of the interior walls. The walls are literally paper. You can’t even use a wet rag to wipe it. It will fall apart.
