It was a long process but worth it in the end

I had a pleasant experience. All good up until the promised return of my deposit wasn't going to happen. I made a big deal of it, because it was promised and the day before my closing they said it wasn't going to be that amount. In their defense, when I made a fuss, they were able to fix the numbers and give me back what I was promised but not without stress and worry on the eve of my closing which pushed back my closing a few hours. I also found out the at the time I was in there initially they offered a golf cart to another home owner as a perk and not to me. I wonder why that is?

Lennar was great to work with and I’m glad to have bought my house from them rather than a resale which was an alternative. Each step involved a different contact and each was positive. There was a great deal of paperwork which at times was a little challenging but overall, a very positive experience.

Our closing was scheduled and I checked ahead of time to make sure all financial issues would be eliminated. We arrived at the "Welcome Center" at our location as instructed. 10 minutes before the time I receive an email saying that the closing would be 30 minutes away. Upon arrival, there was NO paperwork and more money was required to close. Closing took several hours and was completely inept.

I would do it again!

Sales was great. Paint and texture wipe off when cleaning walls. Lennar said not covered because paint is water based. We painted when we moved in with professional painters said the texture was coming when they were painting. The kitchen cabinets also have texture splatter on them. We pointed it out and was told someone would come out to clean but to date no one has been out

Purchased a new home in September. Everything went smoothy. Overall I would recommend Lennar. I must say getting in touch with some of the people was a challenge. They ask you to go on line and get the information you need. Too many emails not enough personal attention, even though my Sales Agent George was great.

Sales is great, houses nice , price is better. Only issue is responding to issues. They take their time and are VERY SLOW to respond .

After living in the home for a little more than a month we have come to find some issues with the cheapness of some of the materials used to buld the home and the lack of quality on the home build itself. With the amount that we paid for the home we expected better but it not just and issue with Lennar its generally with j ome builders as a whole these days. Lack of workmanship, quality and corners being cut to save money for the builders

Lennar makes some beautiful home, and the process and quick. My only issue is the information the sales and construction manager did not provide the correct information. For example landscaping. They told me I will need to maintain my lawn.which is fine. I specifically ask who maintains the lakes lawn. I was told the HOA will. It’s part of the Masters fee. But that wasn’t true And other issues is I ask about the lake behind my house. I ask was there anything in the lake. I was told no it’s a man made lake. Come to find out there is two alligators in it. Now I can’t let my small dogs out or my kids. It’s just a lot of small questions that was provided incorrect information Other than that I love my new house! ... More

Lauren & Gina were the best people throughout the purchase. Still waiting on things they were going to complete that were pending from the second walkthrough tape was never removed. Waited 4 days for the money back after I was told that in 24 hours I was going to receive it. I purchased 2 houses in less than 2 years . Any way after all that…I love my house.

Bernie my son liked the online presence and having all the docs in 1 place was great. Me as his father and buyer too, I loved the house design (30 years as a homebuilder) the quality of work was an 8 out 10, but the follow thru on who was going to fix things is to corporate! It would be best to have a full time customer service Guy/Gal who shows up and does the customer service work as there will always be something to fix. We had to wait over a month for a landscaping add on and had to call many people with very little follow thru. We love our house, but the crap about the architectural review and that they couldn't do the Screen Porch because of it was crap and should be optioned, it will be mid February until they show up to install it. Because of the corporate vibe, everyone blames someone else and responsibility isn't their's.... I would recommend Y'all, just would forewarn the buyer about not closing until everything promised was completed, we closed with some things outstanding! ... More

The list is so extensive of what was done wrong including burying ATT fiber box so lawn is dug up. Flooding my backyard sp can't put up fence. Andis unusable. I could go on.

They take the whole experience of buying a New Home to a level of take it as is. At first i was so impressed until it came to work on the details, Attention to details is not on the list. Ive moved about a month and 1/2 and there is still unpainted spot outside the house with bent gutters covers. Just make sure you get everything corrected; otherwise prepared to hear a lot of “we don’t cover that … , that’s owner’s responsibility”. This is what you get when the work is unsupervised. Gave 4 * in overall since Finance, and sales people overall were awesome thru this period of buying.

The process was very rewarding, still have a few small issues that need to be addressed.

The only saving grace for Lennar at this time in my opinion is Russell. He is an outstanding individual.

I will tell you that you are awful with keeping people updated and aware of what is going on. I will say that I had to call 2 to three times to get answers on most of my questions. I think you should have told me more about the running of Lennar and veranda preserves. I am happy with the moved but not thrilled with the organizations. I will say there were 3 people that were wonderful! Benjamin, my closing agent and Denise

1. Closing delayed do to incorrect filing with the city. 2.Never received final Closing papers. 3. Not given access to main entrance for several day finally after numerous complaints received them. 3. Many issues brought to construction Superintendent with his promise to fix such as: Peeling paint on doors Chipped pavers on driveway Papers not removed on exterior vents Came and removed a gutter that was not supposed to be installed and never returned to patch holes

Warranty and repair issues are poor, lack of communication

Unorganized, inconsistent communication, customer journey from point A to point Z. Lennar said they experienced many “glitches” when it came to our poor customer experience…Our realtor saved this deal and it is the only reason we closed on this home.

I absolutely love the home I purchased from Lennar. My only disappointment was not being able to upgrade anything. I did not get to choose the outside color of the home and I could not upgrade the floors in the entire home or even the glass wall for the shower. The problem I am now facing is that my feet hurt every day from walking on the hard tiled floor instead of the wood flooring that I wanted. Not sure if my feet will recover but I will now have to replace all the flooring in the entire home because I prefer wood floors in the bedrooms and in the open plan living space. I also would have liked to be able to add a privacy fence because of the way all the back yards are open to all neighbors on multiple streets. My only option is to add plants that will grow in such a way that I will have a bit of privacy. ... More

The tile contractor had to come back and and correct his mistakes ,still waiting for the landscaper to replace the dead tree that I was told is dormant back in November and if the contractor who passes himself of as a painter ,then I’m a brain surgeon.

Response to new home 2nd walk through have never been corrected. Sliding door handle is very small making it hard to open from outside. Painters did not pay attention to finishing doors they are peeling and paint has stuck to frame.
