Rush to close & inspect

They hoped we wouldn’t notice - the keys didn’t open everything, the handle was falling off the freezer, the garage panels have gaps, more than 5 minutes running water to get hot, and on an on! Been in the house less than a month and already 6 requests in for repairs. That’s after the Lennar construction folks at the walk through told us we would not be able to ask them for repair after our 2 hrs with them! And we have a gate house at our entrance with NO doors for anyone to ever enter it - only virtual! Only problem is there’s a rail fence every one just walks over!

The lack of response by Lennar and its staff. I close on 2/28/22 and the home was not ready. Until now 04/19/the repair is not done yet.

I was forced to to close by 2/28/22 and there are list of 22 pages long of repairs are taken until now are nit repaired yet. The home did not have hot water and no appliances until a week ago.

Buying an unfinished home

This has been my worst experience buying a new home. This is my 3rd. I closed the house because the bank told me that a delay will raise the Interest rate. In that moment I was trapped. I moved to a house with no bath vents, loose floor tiles, no windows sills or painting completed, wavy drywalls, and a long etc. after 2 months and a half living here lennar haven’t repaired a single screw. Oh yes, they repaired the main entrance door because I lived there with no door lock for the first 3 days.

Lennar - Lennar is the worst.

Lennar is the worst. Zero accountability from top to bottom. Everything needed extra work or repairs and when problems were reported it took multiple calls and complaints to get any work done. NEVER close unless everything is 100% done and checked with a fine-tooth comb.
