Terrible experience! House has to many defects

Todo empezó desde un principio muy mal . Desde la vendedora de casas como la realtor , peor fue la realtor . La vi el primer día que me mostró la casa y la volví a ver a los 6 meses cuando fui a cerrar la casa . Se ganan una comisión altísima sin hacer nada .

Since closing on the home in February and moving in, we have encountered multiple issues across several areas of the property, including: Floor tile installation Drywall finishing and painting Exterior workmanship Kitchen countertop installation Front door installation Closet door installations More recently, we discovered a cracked PVC plumbing pipe beneath the driveway, which has led to slow backups in the toilets and master bathroom shower. We understand that repairing this will require excavation of the driveway and surrounding ground, which raises additional concerns about the original installation and overall construction quality. I do want to acknowledge that each time we’ve submitted a service request, your customer service team has been responsive, professional, and efficient. We genuinely appreciate how quickly and respectfully these issues have been addressed after the fact. However, the volume and frequency of these issues—especially so soon after closing—point to a larger concern with workmanship and quality control during construction and final inspection. This is not about isolated repairs; it reflects a broader breakdown in pre-delivery quality assurance. Given this, I am requesting escalation of this matter to a senior-level representative. I would like to: Understand how these issues were not identified or resolved prior to closing Review the quality control and inspection processes applied to this home Discuss a comprehensive plan to address current and potential underlying issues—not just individual repairs as they arise Ensure confidence in the long-term integrity of the home This situation has significantly impacted our confidence in the construction quality, and I believe it warrants a more thorough review at a higher level. I recently purchased a home in the Wildwood Groves community by Lennar, and overall, my experience has been a mix of strong positives and areas that deserve attention. First, I want to sincerely acknowledge the staff. The team was professional, responsive, and consistently diligent throughout the process. From initial inquiries to closing, they demonstrated a high level of organization and customer care that made what can be a stressful experience feel much more manageable. Their communication and willingness to assist did not go unnoticed. That said, when evaluating the home itself—especially considering the purchase price—I believe there is room for improvement in the quality of materials and finishes provided as standard. Key elements such as the flooring, countertops, cabinetry, and appliances fall short of what many buyers would reasonably expect at this price point. Additionally, after closing, the cost to upgrade these core features to a more durable and sustainable standard can be significant. In today’s economic climate, where affordability is already a major concern, these added expenses place an additional burden on homeowners. Moving forward, I would strongly encourage Lennar to consider investing more in higher-quality base materials and appliances. Doing so would not only enhance the long-term value of their homes but also better align with the expectations of buyers making such a substantial financial commitment. All transactions with lennar , were according to what was specified in the purchase agreement.There were no delays with my purchase. I am happy with the service.

Awful home buying experience

My experience buying a home from Lennar was extremely disappointing. The construction quality was poor, with noticeable defects and rushed workmanship throughout the house. Communication was frustrating and inconsistent, and issues we raised were either delayed or ignored. For such a major investment, the lack of attention to detail and customer service was unacceptable. I would not recommend purchasing a home from this builder.

Hello, we live in a technological age, and through my online research in Türkiye, I found LENNAR to be a good and reliable company. I purchased my house based on the plans without ever seeing it. As a civil engineer, I was very impressed with the project when I arrived for the closing ceremony. Everything exceeded my expectations. Thank you, LENNAR!

Be prepared to get a garage door motor opener . No screens in any windows. No blinds in any windows. No gutter around the house.

1. Did not like revealing that we need to cough up 20% way before closing instead of just usuall deposit and closing was delayed multiple times. Cost us major financial hardship due to the 20% insistance. 2. Hushed up fist and final inspection, They did not address legit yard issues as they know we have paid 20% down. Barriers to 3rd party inspection. House unclean not even builder level clean. Multiple closing dates and workers still doing bath tile works hours before closing. Rescheduled to hour before closing and cleaners doing cleaning while we had a hush hush inspection. TOTALLY unsatisfied Overall: Sales: V GOOD Mortgage: They dont care as we are locked in. We have to be proactive to handle our interests and they will respond w bare bones info. Overall OK Delivery of home: WORST Quality of home: OK Post Sales Support: Between GOOD & V. For first time home buyers Lennar is a an excellent option, as the process is a streamlined process, easy to follow and efficient tailored for new homeowners. entering the market. I would certainly recommend Lennar; and have recommend Lennar my friends that are looking to purchase. I plan to purchase from them again in the future.

Very easy and professional experience

Was not able to purchase, very pushing technique, asking for the full down payment upfront as a deposit with the risk of loosing it. I'm use to down payments being given at closing

These people do not care about the buyer. They don’t care about your needs, they will treat you beyond very 4/10 or 5/10 and they do not care, mostly because their attitude and mindset is that if you don’t buy it someone else will. They took their time for everything and communicated so poorly but when it was time to close on the house or when they needed something they completely chang and rush you and pressure you. Do bettter. Communication was the worst. Loan officer Adrian was great, Bridgette was great, realtor was great. Everything else was not a great experience. Really wish they treated ppl like they mattered and truly wish that they understood that for some people this is a once in a lifetime experience. This isn’t like buying a pair of shoes smh.
