Great property. Buying experience went well and had assistance all along the process. Everyone was very attentive to guiding us through the buying process. House does have some issues to address so proper/thourough inspection recommended. Good thing there is a 1 yr warranty coverage because still dealing with open tickets.

Several pending issue dragged on to fix. A few of the issues were made seem like it was supposed to be like that. Example carpet loose next to point where carpet ends and tiles lead to bathroom. Potential issue for someone falling by tripping on loose carpet. Laundry room doors made too small for standard appliances can’t close door

First time homebuyer and the process was horrendous, especially buying pre construction. Don’t assume that just because every single house within a giant property being constructed (think Altamira in Homestead Florida) is a beautiful shade of cream with brown and tan details, that your own pre construction place will match. The reason we decided to buy in that community was because of the elegant color scheme. Ok, but could have been a higher quality product/ material. Electrical GFIs are not installed so you cannot use a hair dryer without tripping the power. The postal service is non existent, online packages undeliverable since the address does not exist. The most frustrating is the address being not found. No food delivery services or Uber cabs or any deliveries gets to us. We’ve had to use the Publix supermarket as our drop off. I’m told it will get started soon so until then, I “reside” at Publix on Palm Drive!

Process at the beginning feels like a dream come true. After 40 days and 3 days before my closing, the nightmare starts. Lennar mortgage denied my application,n and they even care to ask for supporting documentation and anything regarding the denial, I tried to cancel everything with that denial, but Lennar insisted that it was not possible because 30 days had already passed by. After the process of getting approved by another bank because as for Lennar, I didn't have any other option, I was able to move in, I could notice bad quality, worst finishing. At first, our experience with Lennar was fantastic. The loan team moved quickly, and everything seemed to be on track. As active duty military members using a VA loan, we were led to believe that Lennar was coordinating directly with the VA on our behalf. The buying process was smooth and easy, but I have to say, I’m pretty disappointed with the quality of the home. We’ve run into several issues, especially with sand in the pipes, and were told this will always be a problem unless we install a filtration system—which isn’t exactly cheap. Honestly, that seems like something that should have been included from the start. As a first time homebuyer I must say the process was very smooth. My loan processor was amazing!!!!! She made the experience heavenly. She stayed in contact while my home was in construction and even after to say congratulations. The targeted closing date was pretty much on target from loan origination and delayed by 2 weeks. That is pretty phenomenal. I’m happy with the home. Only item I wasn’t totally happy about was the video rendering showcased a beautiful staircase with a banister. The finished home has a wall built. No one listened or helped with out specific needs/requests. For instance they super nailed all the floor boards KNOWING we opted out of the cheap flooring. Why would you super nail floor boards you knew were coming OFF ?

Time to update your floor plans and details. Folks no longer use phone outlets in kitchen. those god awful cheap counter tops with office style back splash of 3 inches are a joke. Flimsy overall construction. Sloppy construction. Super annoying that there are no OPTIONS for upgrades of tiles, bathrooms, etc. AWFUL that we were given just $500 of "credit" for NOT taking those god awful old fashioned floor tiles with ugly grout lines. It is a massive house. We had to upgrade EVERYTHING! SHAME ON YOU!

It’s been a horrible experience from beginning to end. I had to fight for a month and a half with Lennar to finally close on my house for they consistently had issues on their end and were not communicative about anything. I am a single woman and they dragged my process along without communicating with me at all. I finally got a MALE ADULT to go to the Lennar building and he got my house keys in two minutes. They have been dismissive, ignoring messages and calls, and no care for the time i have to take off to deal with things i found out should’ve been dealt with by Lennar. It’s been almost 3 ...

Lack of pride in craftsmanship

The workmanship and attention to detail is subpar to say the least. Drywall 2-3” short of the floor, hidden by the base boards/warped plywood underneath the carpet/everything painted over from the floor to returns to windows and doorknobs. Little to no insulation in the attic after being sworn to that it met standards. I could go on but you get the point. Pretty embarrassing to turnover a home like that.
