If looking for quality construction, look elsewhere. They’re attentive until your house is done, good luck after that. HOA at Florida Properties is absolute worst.

The initial process with paperwork is very chaotic. Every Department has different portals and it does not seem that the communication between Departments is fluid. Cassandra was AMAZING but it seems that others handling our account may have been new. I can appreciate a learning process but when time is critical, the mortgage process can not be a learning process when time is of the essence. Although construction was completed in a rapid pace, the final build was not of the highest quality or workmanship. Even the little details were missed, for example, light switches were not wired correctly, lights were not centered, etc. Standard building code items were not included, like rain gutters. Landscaping was very poorly put in.

Before closing your property Lennar will definitely take good care of you, they'll answer all your phone calls, they will fix everything for you and they'll support you with great customer service. BUT ONCE YOU CLOSE the experience is totally NEGATIVE. Nobody will answer your phone calls, they will disappear and not worry about post customer service. Once you close your property with Lennar you are on your own. They only take care of you before closing. The buying process was smooth, Lennar was involved in every aspect of the buying process, including getting a Mortgage and the closing. From that part I am happy on how everything worked out. In regards to the house, we were told a date when we would be able to walk the property to see if everything was in good shape. They said that we could bring a home inspector so we hired one for the date Lennar told us. A few days before the inspection Lennar told us the date was postponed 1 day so our home inspector couldn't come with us as he could not accommodate that last minute change. We then ...

I am disappointed in Lennar’s overall service. My experience from start to finish was not the best or the smoothest. I think that a company as big as Lennar should provide a better overall home buying experience to their clients.

Builders rush instead of ensuring quality products. The level of professionalism is below standard. Communication between all parties in the process is poor. If you have a new build, expect significant delays from the original move in date. I could go on, but basically expect to be disappointed and don’t set your expectations high.

The quality of the work is not acceptable for a new home. Baseboards are not cut and connected squarely. Door trim was cut too short leaving an ugly space between the bottom of the door trim and the flooring. In one case the entire door was installed too high, so now there is a 2 inch space under the door. Windows are crooked so that our blinds have to be installed crooked in the other direction to compensate. Bathroom tile installed crooked. Bottom master shower tile installed with sharp edges are felt on feet no matter where one stands. The paver walkway to our front door is installed ...

Lennar never make the pest control on a new land construction, and now we are requesting them to control the pest presence in our home, only 3 months after they deliveried the home, and they don’t want to validate their warranty because they alleged this is not under warranty covers.
