I am very disatisfied with my first purchase of a Lennar home

The quality of the work is not acceptable for a new home. Baseboards are not cut and connected squarely. Door trim was cut too short leaving an ugly space between the bottom of the door trim and the flooring. In one case the entire door was installed too high, so now there is a 2 inch space under the door. Windows are crooked so that our blinds have to be installed crooked in the other direction to compensate. Bathroom tile installed crooked. Bottom master shower tile installed with sharp edges are felt on feet no matter where one stands. The paver walkway to our front door is installed ...

material they use is cheap and substandard. for example the counter tops and sinks in the bathrooms get stains easy and you can not take it out. a mango on the counter made a stain that is permanent. spices used in cooking around the stove made stains that can not be removed. no toilet or towel holders installed , you pay over 600k and as soon as you move in you have to hire a handyman. i see a lot of people gut their brand new house and change a lot of stuff in their new home before they move in. as i said cheap. they are putting lipstick on a pig and calling it a runway model. so sad.

Buyers do not trust this seller. They attempt to strong arm buyers through threats of pulling on deposits. The Director of Sales for Miami, FL was a tyrant. He openly threatened to make a Veteran family go homeless because he could not grasp the concept that VA loans have certain stipulations for retirees. All of this was done to provide better profit earning for corporate lackeys at the end of the fiscal year. The sales and maintenance teams were using the home as a gathering place or at least it seems. They left a dirty kitchen sink, consuming alcohol beverages while on the job. This is ...

The process was well managed from the start of the negociation to the post-sale attention and repairs. Process needs to more transparent and streamlined. Too many surprises. Too many financial manipulations. ie. listening price $178k. Corner lot add 5k. Final cost 183k. 17k builder contribution after adding 17k to the final price. I just got a headache trying to to wrap my mind around this process. There is shortage of housing. Homes will sell at a good profit for the builder without resorting to marketing/gymnastic acrobatics. Straight forward 1+1=2 will go a long way of creating healthy communities that all Lennar organizations will be proud of. What do I know!

It was a really a Nightmare . The only can see a little concern for their mistakes was the Eagle Financial personnel. The res , include , Mr Carlos Gonzales , the president, were very careless about me as a customer Also I recommended another customer who both in Aquabella but never again. I will not recommended anybody else again

Purchasing a home for $660k I would expect the home to at least be ready and for the workmanship to be perfect. There was a lot of things that were done incorrectly and I had to get corrected after closing as well as things that look half finished with little effort done to it. Again not what I expected after spending so much money on a home and with the caliber name of Lennar.
