We were greeted warmly by Jamie Masterheim who took the time to take us around by golf cart and answered all of our questions. It has been nothing short of a nightmare! We hired a inspector who found 98 pages of work that was not done properly and reused damaged items such as doors and appliance,Every issue is being addressed slowly and costing us time and taking away the enjoyment of our new home,We have repairs daily!!! This is a brand new home and it should no be like this!!! We live on a construction site that some day we hope to call home.If we knew it was going to be like this we would have moved else where.SO SAD!

it was a bit disappointing experience with Lennar. It was frustrating to deal with a sales team that seemed uninterested and not fully transparent about the details, especially when it comes to things like owning a golf cart and the charging issues in the Condos. It’s was also frustrating to be told you’re pre-approved for the loan , only to find out last minute that we weren’t. The property itself and the amenities are up to our expectations. House is great as far as space & layout but the workmanship is awful. Attention to detail is very poor and many things needed fixed and still do! So many things equipped in home with no box, no instructions, and setting up items is virtually impossible with no one willing to help! Why install a ring camera when you don’t have the box, screw tool or instructions? Hurry up & purchase & goodbye is how I felt. Sales people are great but builder, PM’s & work orders are a nightmare. House wasn’t clean upon move in & just overall disappointed in the lack of anyone helping get resolution to problems.

The sales agent who we worked with did a great job getting us through the purchase process, and was at all times available and helpful. The mortgage manager went above and beyond helping us with some unique issues relating to the purchase, and was instrumental in completing the deal. The pre-move supervisor was also very helpful in insuring that everything was clean and complete before move-in. Unfortunately the quality control of their homes is non-existent. I have found issues with EVERY SINGLE TRADE!! I am an engineer by trade and run a construction company so I do know how good work should look like. Flooring / Tiles: Floor in general is off level. Had to add shims to almost every piece of furniture in the house. Very poor quality installation. Also found a couple of broken tiles as well. I am not happy with the home buying experience we have had with Lennar. There were many issues before closing on the house that needed to be addressed and although some were addressed it wasn’t done properly and at this time we are still having the same problems, our main concern is the Lennar contracts with companies that do not stand behind their work. The prime example is the pool, the pump was leaking prior to closing which was supposed to be fixed and to this day the pump is still leaking, the pool is leaking and we are footing the bill for high water consumption. While the community is attractive, the builder takes 1000% of the enjoyment of owning a new home away from the buyer. From omitted items which are in the contract, to shoddy construction, to deceptively low HOA fees, Lennar is the champion of bait and switch.

Only good experience was the sales consultant. After that it was very bad. At Lennar Mortgage I had numerous different contacts throughout the process, they did not know where the other left it off. Same for home delivery, concierge and other unaccounted number of individuals. You try to make it buying a standardized process with specialized people in for everything. But eventually humans buy your product and they want to be cared for by humans. Hi Lennar! First and foremost we love our home. Jamie was outstanding and went above and beyond for assisting us with the purchase. She is knowledgeable and approachable! My home is beautiful and love it, EXCEPT our primary bedroom AC doesn’t work properly!!! I had this checked and it reads at LEAST 3degrees less than the rest of our home. The sales agent, Jamie, was very good. We had a good experience with her. Unfortunately, the construction manager, Chad, was not. He stopped communicating with us after closing. Very little of what we asked to be corrected actually got corrected. When defects were pointed out prior to closing, it was suggested that we submit warranty claims after closing. The construction manager's explanation was that the contractors who do the warranty work were better than the construction contractors Lennar uses to build homes. That is likely true - it would be very difficult for them to be worse! ...

If I had to do it again I don’t know if I would purchase another Lennar home. Several little issues, terrible finishes on the walls lots of drywall mud globbs they were just painted over. Tape on all the roller ball catches never removed. Gutter on lanai still leaks , lanai floods everyone it rains, neighbors house amd lawn are higher then mine so all his water runs to mine . We had a house already with Lennar that was great quality and a great buying experience. We chose to upgrade and it has led to a great deal of disappointment although the house is exactly what we want. The amount of sloppy work that was done is highly disappointing. What was even more disappointing was being charged $16,000 for delaying a closing when the house was done earlier than anticipated and yet almost nothing on our punchlist was completed.
