Matt was very friendly, helpful and responsive throughout the entire purchase process. He's continued to help us to resolve issues after the closing as there have been several uninstalled and incomplete items to be fixed. The overall experience with our Lennar home is mixed. The basic structure, exterior and pool area is excellent. However, the interior building materials, accessories, and appliances are low quality. Some examples of poor workmanship include: 1) ceilings painted with primer only, 2) miss-wired electrical outlets, 3) bathroom towel bars and paper holders literally hanging off the wall and holes in the wallboard from botched installation, 4) Missing doors, 5) missing mirrors, 6) missing base board trim, 7) missing cabinet toe kicks, 8) oven installed with large gap between it and the cabinet--pushed into the cabinet and crooked. We were told all the above items would be resolved prior to close; that did not happen. All items have fallen into the warranty process which can take months to resolve. In fairness, some items have been repaired, but many have not including the oven, missing door and toe kicks which are scheduled to be installed in Feb, 2023. Not acceptable. ... More

I had a pretty good experience, especially with the Sale associate Morgan. She was very experience and friendly. Also at the walk through Nate the construction manager was very informative on every aspect of the house and explaining with detail the function of all that is required.

The Hidden fees at the end of purchase.... you guys really don't pay the closing costs.....I came in move in my Master room, garage door, and my 2 bathroom have problems....seems like no one double or even tripled check. Even when I did the walkthrough, seems everything was fine but when I moved in. The Hoa fees doesn't make sense at all.... said I was supposed to pay a certain amount and then boom I'm paying more than I was supposed too. This whole thing was just crazy at the end of closing.

The builder Lennar was very good about extending my closing date while I negotiated financing. It was frustrating that some of the finishes previously provided in this model such as crown moulding & a couple of other items, are no longer provided so I had to find trades to complete the work at my additional expense. Fast response when I identified items that were deficient such as screws missing on electrical & plumbing plates, & terrible odour coming from hot water taps, & a few screens with rips in them. I am very happy with my new property acquisition; however, after the walkthrough I experienced some disappointing scenarios in regards to what is shown in the model home, the Coach-Condo features list at the moment of signing a pre-purchase contract vs. what is finally delivered by Lennar. Unfortunately, the more units are constructed, the more noticeable is what Lennar has cut down in so many features. Perhaps, trying to reduce some construction budget is generating a huge unsatisfaction in the purchasing experience, such as quality of materials, eliminated features, and miss delivery of things impacting the whole purchasing experience. In general, the concept sold by Lennar is great but the overall quality of the process shows a "Big Rush" to finish construction ruining a big portion of the purchasing satisfaction. One good side is "Lennar Title Company" and the Customer Care Representative, Suzanne Whitty, who has faced a lot of unattended issues during construction. Little details in construction that could be resolved by attention to details or by a little more of investment by Lennar (which might represent a cost of ~approx. $2K to $3K) may make the difference to avoid disappointed customers. Charging too much for any add days.

Too many things not done or done shabby plus we were suppose to close in October ,and closed January 31th it cost us $12000 to rent a place to stay.Now who's going to pay us that money

The overall experience was good. The responsiveness from the Lennar team was good. It seemed like the corporate office was looking to close on many homes that they could. A lot of supply chain issues with materials and seemed like they were rushing to complete. The on-site team did their best to address issues that came up. During the walkthrough the house was a mess and still under construction. There are still items that need to be addressed even after the closing. The lennar team is working to resolve the issues. We used Lennar mortgage and they were great especially Lily. She was responsive and helpful. Jordan and Arod in sales were attentive, helpful and provided updates. This is our second Lennar home. We will continue to buy Lennar products if they continue to produce the same product.

Since day one sales representative was great and the whole process was fast track. After closing Lennar Customer service was very attentive to complete a few pending item. Lennar Customer service need to do a better coordination with their contractors to complete work orders on time during warranty period.

We bought early, great value. We are new to condo living, had some initial issues that should have been resolved BEFORE we closed... took some time, but finally got done. Would appreciate a list of fees and the companies BEFORE we bought and closed... still unaware of who and how much to pay and when. Overall, I would defiantely buy from Lennar again !

The sales part of the home buying went well. Excellent support by sales (Paul). The closing and walkthrough didn't go so well. House was not ready at walkthrough. Communication could have been better but go through it. Construction manager was professional and built a friendship.

Quickly built homes that would have been better if more care was taken with process however, but overall satisfied.

With any new home there comes issues that can't be seen initially. The need to close fast has also created conditions that were annoying and in one case very hard to deal with. While we love living in Ave Maria it was built in part of the Everglades and there are conditions with pests, mice etc. can cause a lot of consternation. Small issues are dealt with and the service reps try hard to make things right. I realize there is not very much you can do except complain but that's all.

The work progressed more slowly than was promised. Our finish date was first set at 9/30/21, and we did not close until 2/28/22. There was a great deal of expense we incurred as a result of those delays (storage fees, rental fees, etc) and Lennar has thus far not addressed compensating us for almost $25,000 in added expenses to us. That was very disappointing.

My Salesman Greg is great very attentive to my questions. Lennar's underwriting team is a nightmare. Waiting till the last minute to check and complete the sign off. Customer Care slow to address some issues, seems like they hope it will go away on it own. Some appliances feel cheaply made. Could have gone with better dishwasher, washing machine and dryer.

Less than pleased with Lennar completing items. Punch list was not completed until 2 months after move in. Carpet in main bedroom was stained and is still not replaced. Garage floor was not cured properly and still sticky. Still waiting word on when they will redo. I put requests in but still have not heard anything.

We closed on our home in November at the National in Ave Maria. Our final walk-through was scheduled with Stephen virtually as we are from out of Country and couldn't be in town on the closing date. We lost connection part way through the call so had decided via a phone conversation that we would do the walk-through in person after the closing when we were going to be in town. Almost 2 months later and still no walk-thru. We left multiple messages for Stephen that were left unanswered. We were told by our sales representative that he was coming by on a specific date and he was a no-show. Disappointing to say the least but we are happy with our new home. ... More

The house overall seems to be well built. However,the response to punch list items is almost non-existent.We have been here seven weeks and still no working dishwasher.Also,some closet doors not installed,missing lights in lanai,stucco damage in summer kitchen,cleaning issues in summer kitchen and another half dozen lesser items on the punch list.

Not happy with things done inside house too much mistake in finish.2month here and need thi gs to be fixed. Still waiting . I love Lenard homes always did.but little thi gs can make things big.thk u.

It is a real shame that inside such a good construction and a really nice community, Lennar does not assist as much as they should with some issues you may have with the house. Eventhough most of the items in the (smart home) that they set up are fairly new, the wifi repeater is a 3rd gen when currently they are out with 8th gen. Does not preform as they advertised. Everything else has been really nice.
