Everything from Lennar Mortgage to closing was very Subpar at best

To Start was not happy with Lennar Mortgage, wished I had used a different company. The communication for closing was non existent. Nobody showed us anything on how to operate pool and other features like the ring camera etc. We had to hunt down our keys and garage door opener. the Sheet rock and walls were poorly done and a lot of the holes for lights and outlets were cut too big and one light above kitchen Island was buried and had to be found and cut out after. Overall communication was just not good. Talking to the neighbors they have had the exact same bad experience.

Buying experience with Lennar is just painful from Loan process to closure. Lack of information and so much of confusion created by the Loan officer, Insurance and everything enroute including closure with so much confusion on when is closing until the day before. So many issues even after closure that I couldn't rent out for a month just to fix the umpteen number of issues that took repeated tickets to be created for AC etc. The only one that I should recognize for being better is Mike on the maintenance side that raised prompt tickets for resolution despite so many repeated occurrences. Very poor quality with overall construction and appliances

The AC contractor does not even check if the system is working correctly or not. He installed it and left the AC to run continuously and not responding to the temperature we set it for. The FPL invoice ran into hundreds even with no people inside the home for over 45 days. Next is the water heater was not even running the hot water and the construction manager does even look into these either during walking or closing. Next is the cabinets not even provided and once again the construction manager promises that they would be completed by closing but 5 days after they were not ...

Home is cheaply built, as you walk the floor non stop creaking. Things that should have been completed as promised before us moving in still was not. Opening in the attic, the house dirty with insects, slide door can't open n sooo much more. I have certainly learned my lesson about Lennar and their construction managers.

I would not recommend this company, especially Lennar Mortgage company, run ... The agent that wrote up our contract was not responsive, never knew when our units would be completed. Did not email any of our information after we closed. We had to beg to get things fixed, no follow up. The management companyis even worse, Access, not responsive to emails, or calls. I was pushed to close when the house was not finished and ready for closing just because Lennars only priority is to meet their monthly sales numbers, not client satisfaction, service and quality. There were multiple unfinished things in the house … the punch list at walkthrough had over fifty items that needed to be done or fixed. Then as soon as we closed and Lennar got paid in full there were no responses or support to get things fixed. Multiple emails and visits to the sales center to try to get any attention. We had a mixed experience with our apartment purchase. On one hand, Bryan (our agent) professionalism and communication skills were commendable throughout the buying process. On the other hand, the condition of the apartment was unsatisfactory, with unaddressed issues from the walkthrough, such as an unconnected dryer exhaust duct, an unsecured washing machine drain hose, a subpar paint job, and a missing kitchen cabinet shelf.

Lennar has very unhappy buyers.The problems can be solved easily as most people here have the same problem with the same people. I have been a project manager for the last 30 years and none of the staff I have met would work for me.There is one exception,Mike Bell.Mike is professional and gets things done.He follows up after job is scheduled.You need to hire more like him

Quality of the paint and appliances are not quality. They skimped on many beautiful features like epoxy garage floor, crown molding, glass front door. It was so disappointing to find out they were no longer offering this when it’s in the models.

With any new home there comes issues that can't be seen initially. The need to close fast has also created conditions that were annoying and in one case very hard to deal with. While we love living in Ave Maria it was built in part of the Everglades and there are conditions with pests, mice etc. can cause a lot of consternation. Small issues are dealt with and the service reps try hard to make things right. I realize there is not very much you can do except complain but that's all.

This has been tiresome and disappointing all the way around from beginning to end. The salesperson misled us on when amenities would be completed, the unit wasn't finished even though we traveled a great distance for our closing & to move in, no one ever reached out to say it was delayed.
