To this day the houses front entrance of the house is still no painted. Part of the driveway is broken. And the other part is covered in stains. We also have to add water to the pool every couple days because the overflow system is not working properly and the water level gets too low for the cleaning systems to work. One of the sides of the kitchen cabinets is damaged. And part of the wooden trim in the kitchen is missing.

Only good experience was the sales consultant. After that it was very bad. At Lennar Mortgage I had numerous different contacts throughout the process, they did not know where the other left it off. Same for home delivery, concierge and other unaccounted number of individuals. You try to make it buying a standardized process with specialized people in for everything. But eventually humans buy your product and they want to be cared for by humans. Your process resembles very much to calling big corporations' customer support line and being handed over to multiple departments through a menu ...

My first purchase of a new Lennar home was excellent and I was excited for my second purchase of a Lennar home. This second experience with a new Lennar home has been nothing short of a nightmare.

After you sign the papers, there is no communication on the progress of your build. The attention to detail is none. Callbacks have to go through a warranty program, which can be a nightmare.

The price you pay for the product that you’re buying is adequate. But if you’re looking for just adequate no perfection or even close to a building standard, you’re wasting your money. No communication skills during the build process. Attempting to get the punchlist fixed is a nightmare. Due to the fact, you have to go through a warranty service as they put it to get things done. I cannot in good faith recommend Lennar to anyone that’s purchasing a property.

from a purchase point of view, our experance with Ricky in sales was amazing, very detailed and accomedating, however, dealing with corprate closing / title team is less then desirable and needs major attension in future with new home owners

I really had higher expectations from Lennar but I feel it fell short on several fronts...not going to recommend to any one. ..I would probably advice to stay away from Lennar given the price of the house and poor material and workmanship...sad !!

Build quality and attention to detail was lacking. Be certain to make sure your house is completely finished before closing as they will attempt to rush it off the books. Once closed everything has to go through warranty. Interior painting option of very low quality. Save yourself money and have someone do it right the first time. They give you a credit to buy a gallon of paint but this will not match properly. I could go on but I’m sure other comments will address other issues.

As an out of state buyer it was not a pleasant experience! I would never do this again! I should have never continued with the closing when things were not completed in my home as promised but I did on good faith. Promises after promises to get things done but as of yet it was not completed! Voicemails, calls ,text messages all ignored! When you have a home in another state and you reach out to the sales rep and the head of construction just to be ignored it beyond stressful! I will be arriving to my home in Naples in November and will have to deal with warranty still not a happy buyer!

We were misled multiple times during the buying process and throughout building process. We didn’t get the product we thought we were getting. We were forced to close with a 2 page list of unfinished issues and now I’m not even getting any responses to my issues that were left unfinished.

Terrible closing experience!

I was pushed to close when the house was not finished and ready for closing just because Lennars only priority is to meet their monthly sales numbers, not client satisfaction, service and quality. There were multiple unfinished things in the house … the punch list at walkthrough had over fifty items that needed to be done or fixed. Then as soon as we closed and Lennar got paid in full there were no responses or support to get things fixed. Multiple emails and visits to the sales center to try to get any attention. It has been 2 months from closing and not all things are done or fixed to ...

We’re misinformed by Lennar how Warranty works. Pit supervisor told us not to worry just moving three days after we move them. I told him that 75% of their repairs was never done and we would like him to send repair people to take care of the problems.. he’s answer was after you move in he cannot help us. We got to use the form from the website to let the repair people come in and start repairing a brand new house that was never billed, right

I was unable to be at the property during building, I reside NJ but should not have had bad service because of that. Everything was rushed at the end because there was a delay on the floor and I assume Lennar had to meet a quota. I was told several times that I had to close on a home that was incomplete, where they could get a temporary CO. I hired my own inspector to confirm that there were serious issues. I reluctantly closed on April 13th and not surprisingly the issues still have not been addressed. Damaged kitchen and bathroom door fronts, supposedly at least one was replacement was ...

Regrets purchasing with Lennar

Home is cheaply built, as you walk the floor non stop creaking. Things that should have been completed as promised before us moving in still was not. Opening in the attic, the house dirty with insects, slide door can't open n sooo much more. I have certainly learned my lesson about Lennar and their construction managers.

We built the house based on the model design, quality and craftsmanship. Issues occur with every construction project. Lennar's quality inside and out were very disappointing and issues are not being resolved.

The house was to be completed around the estimated date of Feb 23rd. The sales office representative told us that Lennar we would receive $200 a day for the amount of days that went over a certain date until official closing. The amount of days were 5 total and we should here received $1,000. That commitment was not honored. We sent the information as requested and we received nothing.

I went thru 3 loan officers and each time had to resend my requested documents. So far my loan has been sold twice. We are on the 2nd company we pay our HOAs to. And a third construction manager, who is responsible for taking care of our warranty work. And I have only been in my house for 4 months. I love my house but as pretty as it looks, the quality of construction stinks. For example, came home to a flooded bathroom after a rain because the roof was leaking, they use a cheap flat paint that can’t be washed and gave me a coupon to get a gallon of matching paint for touch up but that paint ...

First I will start by saying that after talking to other buyers in the neighborhood, we are not the only one that feels this way. Multiple delays on our closing date with promises that were never delivered. We dealt with an absolutely rude construction manager that had do desire to listen or get anything accomplished, but was argumentative. We appeared to be more of a hassle to her. Once we finally moved in there was a long list of things that were not acceptable and poor craftmanship. Lennar is about quantity not quality, this is why they can claim to be #1.
