Everything was wonderful except for our closing, which went very well once we started but waiting six hours to close is not acceptable for us

I didn't realize how bad this really was but the concrete work and trim work I have seen in this house is some of the worse I have seen. Holes in the concrete were sloppily patched. There is sloppy touch caulk all over the base boards. I think it also would have been beneficial to offer at least blinds. A new house without any privacy until you get the time to install them is really annoying. This would have been a minor addition for a builder as big as Lennar.

I'm very satisfied bying my home with Lennar

We love our home but the home buying process was arduous at best. We have now been in our home for 5 weeks and we are waiting for repairs from the initial FaceTime walk through. All of the things that were supposed to be fixed were not. I am not sure if it is a corporate issue or just the local office. We have reached out and have not been contacted back. There is clearly a disconnect from the sales to lending to closing process. We are still waiting for confirmation of funds distributed and we found out today that Lennar did not actually pay all of the 2025 hoa dues as promised (even though the correct rate was available at the time of our closing). We love our house and neighborhood but feel Lennar should have completed all tasks as promised and someone should be accountable and follow up when they are fixing the repairs prior to closing. ... Very poor communication from the sellers. The materials used for construction look and feel low quality. They should improve the materials they use. The complex does not have lighting, for the safety of the community this is something they should take into consideration.

It was great and easy to work with the Agent and the Mortgage team it was a breeze. I would recommend it at any time, especially when we need a trusted person we can lean on.

We are happy about the new house. Trying for some issues about dishwasher that not work and little wood pieces out.

Opinion solicited by Lennar and in no way intended to libel or defame anyone. Initially our sales representative Michael verbally floated us pricing that garnered our interest. Somehow they seemed to vanish. I eventually negotiated a price that at least was close to the prices I had heard in the beginning. Then I was informed that he had no authority to sales purchase pricing and would submit my offer but thought it would not be acceptable. He later told me that Lennar wasn’t going to agree to my offer but he thought up a solution that Lennar agreed to accept. His solution was that my purchase price would be acceptable if we’re willing to agree to pay an additional full interest point above my exceptional credit rating I qualified for. Salesman with no authority working on behalf of my best interests was suddenly permitted to think up a way to help me out? Michael orchestrated a deal that would financially benefit Lennar with more of my money. Unfortunately for Lennar I paid off my mortgage prior to the first mortgage payment due date. There have been numerous issues with the home. Nothing major and nothing that has been responded to. The main pain point with moving into the home is the the cleanliness of the home at move in. We have spent hours scraping and cleaning paint splatters on all the floors with hard surfaces. This can be easily corrected by Lennar by using drop clothes when painting.

Customer service is second to none. Marisa was very helpful with purchasing process and between her and Jordan all issues were taken care of asap. Now for Chris he has been helpful in every way from day one, we are an older couple and he will check every now and then to make sure all is good.he treats us more like a friend than a customer. Chris is a absolute asset to the Lennar family and we are thankful for him

Great and smooth in overall buying experience.

This is my first time buying with Lennar, would I do it again ? NO the quality of materials used are the cheapest they can find. As I watch the new builds down the street, I see unskilled day labor being used. They break a door and toss it. No care is given to the quality of work or workers! To be honest, they really need to find good at least half skilled labor. Mostly I see unskilled illegals working. Brought in by the truckload daily, no lie they work, but have no idea what they are doing. My low voltage electric to doorbell was put in as a 16volt and should have been a 24 voltage, the "best" electrician was sent out with a sidekick that didn't speak English. We were told there was no problem and we just didn't know what we were doing. A week later I was right and the Ring doorbell was burnt out by the wrong voltage being used!! Had to call them out for an electric short in the bedroom and the ceiling fan blowing the fuse. The box in the ceiling was broken, but added anyway then painted over in an attempt to hide it! Again the "best" electrician was sent. He blamed us and said we caused it. When my husband attempted to show him the problem (a pinched wire in the wall) he again said we must have caused it and then ran out the door with his minion. Honestly, if I knew all this, I would have skipped over this builder all together! It's a nightmare. The ceramic floor was floated and grouted correctly.. kind of.. but never sealed ! We were told in a year they will check it, regrout and then WE have to seal it??? Um, I've never heard of such a thing! The garage is supposed to be a 2 car, but only if you do not have any extra stuff to store there. We have to park in the driveway because you cannot get 2 cars in it and get out without a can opener. Again, who builds a house like that.??? Also, no storage ANYWHERE! The attic area was insulated wrong and most areas of the house inside and out were not sealed with caulk correctly. Ants and other things get in and we had to finish the work correctly. Unbelievable- i will sell as soon as i can to find something more livable. ... More

It has been a struggle to get anything done or adequate communication after signing the contract. The walk through and closing was a horrible experience and I'm still struggling with post close issues.

A lot of promises to get us in the house. No one knows what the right hand is doing through the whole process. Lack of communication with sells people to loan officer to contractors! Signing day shows up and no one from Lennar was there, called them and they said it’s normal for us not to be there for signing day that the title company will walk you through everything you need to know! Promise us some of our closing cost back and said, oh in the middle of your contract the state changed your closing cost and we can’t give you back your money! Should have had an attorney with us!

I love my Lennar home and lot. Eric guided me through the planning process. Neil met with me weekly at the home site to review construction progress. Jon addressed any issues that came up during the inspection and walk throughs. All Lennar associates I have come in contact with have been friendly, professional, and valued me as a home buyer.

It’s an amazing and wonderful experience throughout the entire process starting from initial agreement to closing.

I knew that Lennar had problems because all builders do, but I didn't realize how bad it is. These lower rated reviews never get seen on the site. I checked. The only reason I gave two stars was because at least the "construction manger" gave me an online tour before purchase. Since then, it's been one problem after another- flooding, cupboards falling down, tile issues, electrical issues. dead palm tree,, half painted woodwork. just total crappy workmanship all around. Then, when a "warranty order" is submitted, it's one excuse after another. "It's cosmetic- we don't cover it". "We don't cover trees"- Well, YOU incorrectly planted the tree and it died. I paid for it and I want the tree I paid for. Leak in a bathroom light, major cracks in the concrete, I could go on. My advice, don't waste your life savings on a Lennar home. It's financially, physically and emotionally draining to have to go thru this. ... More

Has been a great buying experience with Lennar everyone has been responsive to our concerns and helpful in finding neighborhood resources

Great People from my initial contact with Sany to finance to Jake and title with Michelle and the follow up with Nate. The quality of the home exceeds that of other competitive builders by far in my view with details included that are not offered by other builders and even at a lower price. Overall, the BEST value is with Lennar.

The house is awesome it is peaceful and a safe community we love where we live. The customer service person is very helpful with any issues that come up We are happy in our purchase Thank you Thomas and Melba

Home has a lot of small imperfections that are being taken care of but the one issue I have is a dead palm tree. This issue was mentioned at all 3 walk thrus with the construction manager. When Lennar was questioned about replacement, they said there was nothing about the tree and that the construction manager did not recall any of our conversations regarding the fact that the tree was dead.

It was mediocre at best

The overall experience wasn't all bad, but it wasn't up to my expectations. The garage in the home shouldn't be called a double-sized car garage space. In the garage, only one car fits. There was a water leak in the main line of the home, which they fixed in 24 hours but never fixed the landscape on the property. Also, I had to pay for the water bill because the letter that Lennar gave me for the bill didn't work. Nails are sticking out of the carpet, and the house was not being fully cleaned before closing. We bought our home out of state and never saw the property in person until we arrived. Please don't depend on an individual showing your home on video; it doesn't work.  ... More
