We bought a 4/3 Trevi model from Lennar in Williston/Country Lane Estates in April. The buying experience was very easy and we received a very good deal. A lot of home for what we paid, great incentives including closing costs and a great VA interest rate. The quality of work could be better on the finishing - we had the whole exterior essentially repainted as whoever did the touch ups didn’t really match the paint and there is some paint drips inside. But we plan on, and already started, repainting the interior so didn’t stress on that too much. The big thing is everything works, nothing is out of place really, and we are happy with our home. Sabrina our sales agent was great; Chris who took care of us during the walkthrough was also great; and Chase has been super responsive with post close concerns/issues. Lennar delivered as promised, it was an overall very good experience buying a home from them.At this point its been a great experience working and dealing with them.

After making the decision to sell our home in PA, we decided to purchase our new home in Ocala, FL direct from Lennar, strictly on-line without ever visiting the location, something we thought we would never do. Great communication, great sales representation and thanks to Bryan G. for sending pics throughout the process, so far workmanship appears fine, hopefully will remain without any major issues over time. Wish we could have customized a few things, but overall, we will make it our own over time. Thank you for a great experience!

Response time to issues is not good.

The finance team purchasing team, all extremely responsive very happy with Lennar financing and purchasing. The only letdown was a little bit maybe a newer Construction rep walk-through person should be a little bit better polished on customer service. The overall responsiveness when we have had any issues has been fantastic and very very quick Jorden has been great.

The house is awesome it is peaceful and a safe community we love where we live. The customer service person is very helpful with any issues that come up We are happy in our purchase Thank you Thomas and Melba

I could not have chosen a better Lennar realtor- Aaron. He kept me sane through the entire experience. While the financing did work out in the end- the Lennar mortgage side of things did leave me wishing for better communication and a more seamless experience.

My first home buying experience. While everything mostly went smoothly, I would have appreciated a little more flexibility. I had told the salesperson from day one I would be out of state by the time the closing date came, and absolutely intractable for 3 days difference - over the holidays at that. That being said, they have been responsive to any issues that have cropped up from internet, to occasional plumbing things. Overall, I am still very happy with my house. :)

Home has a lot of small imperfections that are being taken care of but the one issue I have is a dead palm tree. This issue was mentioned at all 3 walk thrus with the construction manager. When Lennar was questioned about replacement, they said there was nothing about the tree and that the construction manager did not recall any of our conversations regarding the fact that the tree was dead.

Homes were put up too quickly with many imperfections. They can do a better job at quality control.

We bought our house on a specific lot because we fall in love with the model and the yard space, and the only notice prior buying was that in the corner side we couldn’t placed nothing heavy(pool, boat, truck) because of utility easements, but we were going to be able to place the fence up to 1 to 2 feet from the sidewalk. After closing, come to find out that because of the easements, we are losing 10 ft from the sidewalk on a side that has over 75 ft long (thats yard that cannot be fenced and kids won’t be able to enjoy) yet we have to maintain it. Did a walkthrough with Corry, he open a box for the smart home kit and showed me a marked paper supposedly stating all the sensors were in place. He stated that all I needed was internet to set everything up once closing is done. We did the closing, waited two weeks for the internet company to install the internet, when box is opened, one sensor is incomplete and 2 others are missing. When questions were raised to office staff, answer was “there is nothing we can do since it was brought to our attention after closing and who knows what happened with that equipment “ . The least they could have done (since they do this every day and know what to look for) is to make sure customers are not being taking advantage of. I contacted My Lennar and put in the paperwork to have the problem corrected. After a virtual visit, they stated they would contact the contractor.The contractor said it would be about three weeks before we could have someone look at the problem. I said this could be expensive on my electric bill. A man came out and found the thermostat was wired incorrectly. He said the heat was trying to run with the a/c. This resulted in a 720.00 dollar electric bill for the month.

1st and second walkthrough before closing consisted of the customer/buyer performing quality control of drywall texture and paint. Both were a complete waste of time. Lennar should be able to do their own paint QC long before closing. Painters have no idea what an edger is when painting near a ceiling. Painters and stucco workers have no concept of using a drop cloth to protect floor or pavers bellow. Drywall and paint all over wall switches. Carpet glue and grout all over ceramic tile. Drywall plaster and sanded dust all over window blinds. Sod delivered to lot and sat on pallets for over a week to dry in the sun, then laid down as dead grass, later to be replaced with more dry dead sod. ... More

Buying a from Lennar was a challenge. This was our first new purchase and my expectations at the beginning were not met. Once we got our new production manager things went smoother. You need to be diligent about checking in and if you not in the area ask for pictures weekly. Overall it wasn’t terrible but I don’t think I would ever buy a newly built home.

This review is like A Tale of Two Cities. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. The sales, purchasing, financing, closing and everything else that dealt this the finance/management/updates was fantastic. Everything to do with the construction, construction management, and resolving issues on site was absolutely horrible. The craftsmanship was horrible. It feels like the home was put together over a weekend. The flooring, cabinetry, dry wall, and painting were all done in such a rush and there are still countless issues that still haven't been resolved. Appliances weren't tested. Common sense did not go into the construction whatsoever. Things were installed in such a backward manner. ... More

Frank blew me off as soon as he lost the sale. Sandra was to the point of being rude. Didn’t speak to me nicely, wasn’t at closing due to illness, never heard from her again. Michelle at closing was very nice. Walk thru and warranty work with Myles is spot on.

Although may not deter from owning another Lennar home in the distant future but move-in experience after buying process did not go as well. Too many defects unnecessary deficiencies for a new home. Process of getting them corrected was transferred and had run smoother than it started.

Lennar mortgage need improvement in their mortgage process and have some experience underwriter.
