Let’s start with the delay in finishing the home because Lennar prioritized homes financed in house, thus causing my interest rate to rise. Then when closing happened the house was no where ready for move in and it was filthy. The dish washer wasn’t even plugged in. We had a crushed sewer pipe, there spots still missing paint almost 2 months later, yard had construction debris in it. Although i know that with any home there is no such thing as perfect, however, certain attentions to detail are clearly missing here. It definitely feels like quantity over quality. There were many things on our punch list that has still not been fixed. During our walkthroughs things were said they would be done personally by the construction manager that day, and they are still not fixed. I was so excited to buy a Lennar home! The process started out alright, but slowly went down-hill. The communication from the salesperson was lacking. The lady in the title office was rude. Then when I had my so called”walk-through” everything got worse. My house was not completed and the work that was done-especially in some areas was so shoddy. Very poor workmanship throughout the home. I’ve been in this “construction zone” for almost two months-Lennar is very slow at trying to make things right. Waited on fixing items after closing and then informed me I had to go through the warranty side. Many items wrong are amateur items, holes in walls, paint on tile floor and rugs, knobs on kitchen cabinets don’t line up, sensors missing, openings in garage, a/c draining into the garage, weather stripping left off the external doors, house never cleaned and I could go on. Not one item has been repaired, it’s been 45 days. Talked to other owners and some of their problems are worse than mine and still waiting on repairs!

I knew that Lennar had problems because all builders do, but I didn't realize how bad it is. These lower rated reviews never get seen on the site. I checked. The only reason I gave two stars was because at least the "construction manger" gave me an online tour before purchase. Since then, it's been one problem after another- flooding, cupboards falling down, tile issues, electrical issues. dead palm tree,, half painted woodwork. just total crappy workmanship all around. The whole experience has been Terrible! We were supposed to close in August. Finally closed January 17th with a five page punch list. Now March and still trying to get things resolved. Lots of empty promises. Quality of workmanship is horrible. Nobody takes pride in their work and Lennar accepts that. We expected a not more from Lennar when building a $472,000 home. Would not recommend.

I went into the first time homebuilding experience with an open mind and trust that what I was told I was getting in my new home was true. Turns out that some pretty important things that I expected to have in my home were taken away without Lennar telling me. They took both bath tubs out of my house and was told that it is a 55+ community and elderly people don’t want bath tubs…well I’m 60 I’m not elderly and elderly people have grandchildren and dogs to bathe then I come to find out that the models with three bathrooms have at least 1 tub in their house! We went under contract six months prior before the home was finished. Im married. We made the offer under my name, but for investment purposes, we wanted to have my wife be on the house instead of myself. This is a simple process, it just needs to be approved by the builder. Literally we had sent them the document and all they had to do was sign it to get it done. We tried to do this a few months before close, but the Lennar denied. It has been a struggle to get anything done or adequate communication after signing the contract. The walk through and closing was a horrible experience and I'm still struggling with post close issues.

The closing process was a disaster. The house was not complete by the closing. I moved in 2 months ago and still trying to get things fixed that were noticed at the walk through prior to close. I have been disappointed at every step of this process.

I had 2 homes built in OTOTW and 1 by Lannar. As a General8i r, bypass I saw poor workmanship and several months late to finish. The contract that had the sale price did not show about $10,000 extra that was not on that page even though we made no changes. This by far is the poorest quality I have seen. In Williamsburg Virginia Lannar turns out a very nice home, not like these Lannar homes.

We have purchased many homes through out the years. The condition of the home after we closed on it in terms of meeting county code was pathetic. Our water heater was not hooked up to the house so no hot water, there was no insulation in the attic which is another fire code, the wiring of the home was a fire code we found out as we hired our own electrician to fix our home which was 5k later. We have taken pictures of everything. We will be hiring an attorney and also calling the city to make record of their inspector who passed the home when it should not have. The whole process was a mess, things that were promised on walk through still not done. I’m currently being ignored by the guy who did my walk through and I put everything into the system and with Lennar to fix not one thing has been done. Haven’t had a functional garage door since move in either and a leak in my sprinkler that was promised to be repaired before move in… still not done.

First walk-through brand new home: no running water, workers left feces in each toilet (no water to flush). Cracks & holes in cabinets. Large patch of dead sod front yard. Caulking poorly done. Foundation painted in batches. Hole near roof. Scratches on mirror & kitchen sink, etc.. Final walk-through water ran for 5 seconds & stopped. Few repairs done, orange tape still up, no door on linen closet, etc… Closing day, final final walk-through with construction manager who quickly went over my list of repairs with the superintend. House was cleaned a little better. 10k in no backing out!! ...

Very poor service and communication from the beginning to the end (sales including manager were horrible in every aspect of knowledge, service and follow through/follow up from the moment we put our deposit to take off the market to closing. We didn’t even get the mailbox key until almost a month after closing because we didn’t know who to get it from and where to pick up, construction manager Dave was the most incompetent person who didn’t oversee any of the contractors to ensure jobs were done well, make the contractors fix their sloppiness or even make sure they did their jobs at all. ...

Lennar uses the lowest quality materials available. The granite counters were not sealed properly so stains appear from the slightest drop of water. The stove top had been repaired and on initial usage a large chip appeared. The washer and dryer are the cheapest GE has. The dishwasher stopped working after 4 runs and had to be reset. The irrigation system was a disaster, watering the neighbors yard. Large patches of grass were dead and we have had to do replace the grass.. The porch and back stoop were rough and filthy.
