Review I became aware of a new community being built in the ***** area by the power of social media and algorithms. I immediately fell in awe with one of their floor designs and decided to personally visit this community. I arrived with no appointment and the experience was amazing. They explained Lennar’s model: homes built in a fast pace and no room for modifications. It sounded perfect and terrifying. However, I loved that particular floor plan. Price was decent considering the current housing market prices and the promise of everything that will be built in that area and its location. So, after thorough thought and weighing in benefits and risks, I decided to proceed with the purchase. After signing and issuing my first deposit, I would never hear back from that seller. When I decided to ask a further simple question regarding the home design and style, it took hours to get that information. Furthermore, I was assigned a concierge that would act as the point of contact during the building process. Barely we communicated and when we did, it always gave the impression that I was bothering. When it came to inspections, there was always misinformation and miscommunication. However, at the final inspection the quality and construction manager were very informative and showed disposition to help if anything arose after closing. That obviously never happened. They never showed up after inquiring on is*****s that were identified after the first weeks of moving into the property. During the closing stage it was uncomfortable experience. The demeanor and attitude of the closing personnel was rude and unprofessional. At this point I just wanted to sign and my home keys; no silly picture to be tagged for their social media images. Never again I would do any home purchase from Lennar. Throughout all this process you feel voiceless and with no options. It feels as if they’re doing a favor to you. If you’re ok with this style of service, then Lennar should be your first choice. Otherwise, there are plenty of homebuilders in the area. ... More

The home we purchased was a good value for the money we paid. The initial portion of the experience with Patricia was great. She was helpful and not pushy when we wanted to discuss more. The build process was timely, but our homebuying concierge Melissa spoke with us only once over the phone during the entire process. Emails were slow response, and after the initial phone call we were unable to reach her by phone again. There was even a moment where we had tried to get a hold of her multiple times on the same day as our initial walkthrough of the home, and our representative at the walkthrough was able to get a hold of her no problem. We never received a call back, no follow up, the concierge was definitely a waste of time. I understand that there are multiple homebuyers assigned to one concierge, but if I was never able to get a hold of the concierge, they weren't really a concierge.....they were just a representative. The final walkthroughs with Jeff were definitely detailed, although there were things that he brushed over as normal which we have now learned are not normal things in a home. The closing process was a disaster. We used Lennar's mortgage company and the communication in the last days was so poor we almost backed out and went with a different builder. The title/closing team was disorganized and wouldn't communicate with the mortgage team so much so that we showed up to close when we were instructed to, only to have Lennar Title tell us that everything wasn't ready and to come back later. The title did end up sending someone out to our residence at the time to finalize closing given the miscommunication, but having the closing process delayed wasn't fun even if it was by one day. Once we started settling in the home, the house was built pretty well. However, we have found several issues in the house, including permanent orange spots in the carpet that weren't there during the walkthroughs, electrical problems while trying to hook up ceiling fans (that weren't included with the home), and other misc. small issues that although aren't dire are quite annoying to be dealing with months later. Overall, I feel that if you are looking for your forever home, Lennar isn't your best option. If you are looking for a starter home, I feel Lennar is a good start, but be prepared for communication issues throughout the process. ... More

[TRANSLATED FROM PT] I would like better after-sales service regarding bureaucratic matters related to the condominium, *****, etc. Two months after receiving the keys, I still haven't been able to access the pool and haven't received any support from Lennar.

I’m glad we hired our own home inspector. We’ve had quite a few work orders put in to fix, repair and replace things. We’re making the best of it all.

The sales and contract signing went smooth. Good communication and followup. Maria and Wes were great. All downhill from there. Communication was lousy...Was almost ready to cancel. Request for additional financial information was never-ending. Closing was weak at best.....just rushed thru the numbers. After closing..on to the new house but the keys were given did not work. In summary the front end gets an ":A"....the back end gets a "D" and I am being generous. Thanks for providing a review process.

My purchase was problem free. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful. Couldn't have asked for a better closing and home purchase.

A very frustrating experience as many communication issues and disorganization were present from the beginning until closing. especially for a first-time home buyer.

We bought an already built house and closed within 3 weeks. Because the house was almost finished we did not get to choose appliances, cabinets, or extras……builder grade appliances are just ok. But we did get a great price! Wish that we had more time but needed a house quickly. The best part of Lennar was our sales person Steven and our walk through specialist Darren…….we purchased in Bridgewalk, Saint Cloud, Florida. We are happy with the purchase.

Our home is nice. We have put alot of effort into making it a really nice home. Neighbor hood is nice. The sales staff and the after purchase staff have been great.

Home buying with Lennar has its both ups and downs. The hardest part of the process is the approval and mortgage processing which i recommend to have a backup mortgage company to make sure that everything will flow smoothly. The house and support from the builder in preparing it before the move has been great. Lennars app has been really helpful to coordinate things. Overall Lennar as a builder has been great. As a Mortgage company maybe fair I guess it’s a case to case basis.

The entire process was very straightforward. The loan officer explained everything we needed and how the process works. They did ask for al lot of documents but I understood why they needed them. We had our own inspection prior to the 1st walk through and he said everything was good. Little minor things were pointed out and the Lennar rep also saw those same things during the walk through and had them corrected immediately. The house is beautiful and we are loving it.

House is just ok. Builds cheap material and finish work is not that great. Final inspection finds weren’t fixed and never really were for a new house but that is Lennar’s standard on their builds. Our common area was all done and Lennar drives their construction trucks to drop off new material for new home building community next door tearing up the grass and making a mess.

My experience with Lennar was great! I bought a house as an investment and we're already receiving rental income. They are committed and help us with all the processes.

Our experience purchasing a Lennar home was disappointing and frustrating. The sales and closing process lacked organization and clear communication. We were passed between multiple representatives who did not appear to be on the same page. Our primary realtor was frequently slow to respond, and on our scheduled move-in day he was extremely difficult to reach. We were informed he was assisting another family while we were actively moving into our home, which added unnecessary stress. Unfortunately, the home itself has also fallen short of expectations, especially given the price. Several features that should be standard were not included, such as ceiling fans, window blinds, a screen for the back door, and a shower door. The guest bathroom has black streaks in the tub and sink that are impossible to remove. Appliances advertised as brand new arrived with visible dents and marks prior to move-in. The exterior landscaping was poorly executed, with low-quality mulch placed without a liner, resulting in ongoing weed and insect issues. We will need to redo the landscaping ourselves. Additionally, the garage is undersized at 19x20 rather than the standard 20x20, which feels like another cost-cutting measure. Upon move-in, there was still red builder tape throughout the home, indicating unresolved issues. My home is very beautiful and great work done for me. I’m not struggling for anything right now. I’m able to move around any were I need to go. No stairs for to climb due to my back injury I’m very happy with the great work done for me to enter the house. I have 3 bedrooms plus a master bathroom and two bath rooms. I have a kitchen and so many closet for me to pack something. I have pantry space and closet space for extra storage and 2 car garage. Every thing is intact in place

The reason we chose Lennar is the next gen home plan.There was a frequent turnover of who is responsible and what papers are needed that could make you give up. I feel that we have a new person every time we call, one would say we need this the other would say we don’t. My 1st home when I bought it was brand new,it was solid built, craftsmanship is good.floors were easy to clean. Our new house feels sloppy. It was not built with care.craftmanship is poor- lines on the wall crooked as well as cabinets,airvents facing the wall. Floors are are to clean.my laundry room is too small putting a stackable washer/dryer is hard,with circuit breaker shutting off. Home buyers work hard to have a home that is ready,welcoming especially with this price, you expect a little more- even a soap holder in the bathroom would be appreciated. ... More
