This may summarize the overall experience; 15 minutes on my way to closing, I got a call stating "not to arrive to the office because they were not ready for us yet"... I was told by the lady who showed us the house that the solar system was included with the house (which was not) and eventually cost us is a bit over $5,000 from incentives that we couldn't get because the lack of information between all involved during the sale who failed to guide us, even though that we explicitly stated several times our willingness to purchase the solar system. I think Lennar should have a program where then can solely help with First time home buyers who know nothing about the ins and out of purchasing. This Corporation is so big one they could afford to have a program where they assist with first time home buyers step by step starting with any and all that is hidden in the fine print. From a choice of pant color to know whether your Front door opens in or out.

Not so happy with Lennar anymore,If it wasn’t because I found a lender at the last moment I would’ve lost my deposit , and not to mention the value of the townhouse too high along with a high interest interest rate. And to make it worse a high HOA 250.00 monthly with no amenities still waiting and taking forever to make the poolside. But yes we still have to pay HOA high fee just to perceive blocks and dust . Not fair at all .

We signed for new construction in mid April 2021...we're given a tentative closing estimate of 10/31/21 to 11/14/21. Then, after obtaining permit approvals in late May...the delays started...ground was not broken on our house until September. So a 4 month delay. Covid was said to be the reason for all delays. Great location of home and neighborhood amenities. Sales team were extremely fast in responding. Customer Relations Manager was phenomenal. We felt more like a transaction in the beginning of the building process but thankfully more like a customer as we got closer to finishing the build, thanks to our sales guy and CRM guy. Great home for the price. Larry with Eagle Mortgage was outstanding, as was the onsite customer service staff. The staff that works with you to correct any issues during the walk through are awful. My suggestion is make all flaws found during walk through are corrected before you pay, otherwise good luck getting things corrected. The lawn and landscaping are terrible unless you like dead grass and lots of weeds. After 6 months of living there, I finally gave up hope on getting things corrected, so I did them myself. Overall it has not been a bad experience but there have been things that have not been what I expected of buying a new home. For example I don't know how to handle my sprinkler system and I have asked a couple of times and no response to that. A couple of other things and all the responses have been not covered by warranty and that's it. I believe when you buy a brand new home, you should get help and things should be taken care of. My requests have not been big or unreasonable.

The house is not bad, but there was a lack of attention to many details, apart from an unjustified delay in its delivery. The best has been Mrs Maria Gonzalez in addressing questions and complaints. THANKS MRS MARIA!! It will be difficult for me to buy houses from Lennar again.

Overall, we were happy with the new home. We have had a few warranty items come up, but they were resolved quickly. Alexis has been great to work with on all those issues. A common theme we have experienced and heard other neighbors complaining about is how hot these houses are in the summer. Even though the air conditioning system is working as it’s supposed to, and the insulation is to spec, we found several air gaps in the attic (under the insulation). This was my third house purchased with Lennar, and I was really impressed by how poor the quality of finishing and details was compared to the others. They have tried hard to resolve everything, but for me it was a disappointment and I will think twice before buying the next house with them.

The construction took 2 months more than anticipated. The communication or updates on the status of the house were very poor because The construction team was not providing updates. Once we moved into the house they were multiple concerns of undone repairs and we are still dealing with necessary repairs. Also, The tiles style were changed without notice to the buyer

Post closing attendance has been poor. Problems has not been fixed after two month from closing. Special electrical problems and finishing problems. My experience has been that there is not a person from LENNAR that follows the solution to the problems. The responsibilities are avoided by appointing some other departments and the end nobody follows up.

The system to file Repair Request online within one year warranty is convenient and response is kind of quick, but may be the large quantity and pandemic time, the request fixing cases time are waiting too long. As buyer stand point, we want to buy a good quality and ready to live the brand new home without any worry, not by having technicians to the house back and forth. Basically, I love this builder and my house design, but that will be perfect if no rush closing and less request repairs after closed.

Some departments are faster to act and reply than others. We had a very large issue with fibre cable connection below ground that took over a month to resolve resulting in losing several bookings.

Our home is beautiful but we have to have several things corrected which we shouldn’t have had to do since it’s a brand new house. The main thing is the painting - both inside and outside the house. It seems like it was rushed and several walls had to be repainted. We have had to put in tickets, then schedule appointments, then be home for the repairs. It is time consuming and, like I said, shouldn’t have happened since this is a brand new house.

Make sure you really check out the home before you buy, when we moved in the house was a mess, painting and a few carpentry items were done very sloppy. Paint on the floor every where.

Everything started off amazing, however they rushed the close of our house leaving many issues after close. We are still finding issues, but likely we are still under warranty and the warranty department has been great. The sales rep. Bob was also fantastic. I am torn on if I would recommend Lennar as the closing process was absolutely horrible.

Not sure I would build new again

After months of delays, which I’ve learned seems to be the norm when building a new home, I finally moved in. There have been some issues that needed addressing & so far many of them have been. My closing experience was four hours of Awful with CalAtlantic title but the best part of my new home experience was working with Shane S. the contractor. If it would not have been for him I may have called it quits. Being able to choose the floors, counters & cabinets was great. There are still a few issues needing to be completed but overall my home is beautiful & I love my view.
