Terrible overall experience. The homes are quickly built we zero attention to detail. I’ve been there for close to two months and we’re still trying to finish repairs from initial walk through.

everything is nice and the closing also went smooth.

Overall the quality control systems by lennar are poor to average at best. Their system is cumbersome and it takes many attempts in order to get issues resolved. Seem like they are rushing delivery of homes in order to make up monthly numbers to meet Wall Street expectations and in so doing a lot is left undone before closing which forces you into warranty for completion. Worked with many builders and it definitely seem that upper management needs to re-evaluate at their operations.

Throughout the purchase process I was told things by the Lennar realtor that were later found out to be straight lies. They told me that all the supply’s were secured and the only issue would be labor. My house was then delayed for 10 months with no real explanation. But I’m pretty sure it was delayed to get smaller houses done to meet Lennar’s quota for their stock value. The walk thru got delayed until the day of close even though I was repeatedly told how detailed their quality checks were flawless nothing was addressed before closing. The washer and dryer were not even fully hooked up. The solar panels that were supposed to be installed were not installed until about a month after I moved in and they are still not active. The HVAC system is the minimum size required by law and cannot handle more than 90 degrees, which isn’t much help in the Florida sun. There is no ownership on the Lennar side for these issues and when they are resolved, they are resolved with minimal effort causing other issues in the process. We went and looked at the exact home that we wanted, it looked wonderful. We were told that everything in that house is what we were getting. Wood-like tile, crown molding that you can actually see (we got molding that is about two inches thick, useless waste of money), etc. NOT what we got AT ALL. Our house was supposed to be done in November, then we were told December, & every month that it wasn’t ready, we were told it would be ready the next month, until finally, May rolls around & it was done. There are still holes and dents in the walls, the baseboards are either caked with paint/caulk or have dents in them. We gave a list of things that needed to be fixed to the guy during the walk through. They did a few things & that was it. There are things we told them about during closing & they have yet to contact us about those things. The counters, cabinets & floors were covered in paint from over spray, leaked paint, grout that wasn’t cleaned up properly, etc. It has been two months since we moved in and I’m still cleaning these things. We have a patch of grass missing from our yard because of some leak issue. Not sure if it’s our issue or the neighbors. I will never be buying a house through Lennar again. Good value and experience for the home buying process.

Lennar's customer service is absolutely horrible. The responsiveness to customer issues is non-existent and no one seems to care that the home you are moving in to could be your place of living for the next 20 years or so. They seem more concerned with getting you closed and signed, your money in their hands then they stop responding to you. Slight issues are lumped in with major shortfalls in the construction and their response is, "it could take up to 90 days to resolve your issues". Avoid this developer if at all possible, and if you do buy a home from them ensure you are able to stop by the construction site often enough to validate the work being done by their sub-contractors. My inspection was done by a Lennar provided inspector and the final walk-through consisted of the Lennar representative attempting to rush us through the house as she had "other homes to walk-through with other buyers". ... It’s really hard to communicate with the office staff, once closing came they didn’t care about multiple issues included those mentioned regarding the house. Response times are extremely high, with people having to follow up multiple times to get a response.

These is our second time buying a home and the experience with Lennar is awful. No one respond in a timely manner to any situation. Home was close with lots of open items that I need to follow up week and no one can confirm when they are going to get fix. The right hand does not know what the left hand does. The quality of equipment and construction do not match the price. Every time I call for follow up have to go over what is needed, they do keep track of customer situations or items. You ticket/open items is like a hot potato because no one is accountable to get the issue resolved they will ask to call someone else or just don't reply. I would recommend people to stay away from Lennar so they can save a lots of tears and nightmares. Lennar is the worst. ... More

Lennar has made my home buying experience a nightmare, i will never buy a Lennar home again.

It was a very positive experience with lennar to purchase a new home and having all issues resolved.

We love the layout of the house and the neighborhood. We do regret buying from Lennar. We were outright lied to and were extremely disappointed in the process. There were a few people along the way that were very nice but it appears Lennar employees are trained to make money, not care about people.

Make sure that you go through entire home and document all that needs to be fixed an make sure it is done prior to you signing paperwork. If not it will take forever to get it done. Lennar financial team was great.

Dont rush into an agreement with Lennar. Inspect inspect inspect. Buyer beware.

Lennar did not deliver as promised. It's my second home with Lennar. It's NOTHING like the first time. From the timeliness to quality of work being subpar. Quite honestly im NOT a happy camper. The only thing I got from Lennar on a timely and consistent basis was EXCUSES that didn't make sense.

Communication from Lennar was excellent all the time. Sales contact Jeff was excellent. Very poor quality on house finishes compare to previous new homes I bought.

During the purchasing process, information about expected closing date from the selling agent was not clear, causing thousands dollars of extra cost in financing. Water leak was found soon after moving in, caused water damage.

We are very happy with out Lennar home. Our new home sales consultant Jeff was always there for us every step of the way. As closing approached every Lennar employee we interacted with was nice and very professional. Everyone worked hard for a successful closing. We've wanted a Lennar home for years and every expectation has been met. This is our forever home.

We have had problems from day 1. Some to be expected, some not. Immediately upon move in, we found foundation issues, painting that needed to be done, light fixtures that fell out of the ceiling, broken air vent that shouldn't have been installed, broken dishwasher, new cabinetry cracked, broken tiles, shower doors with no weather stripping, front door you can see right outside, not installed properly, garage double door bending in half, missing parts/hardware. Broken sprinkler outside, Most recently just this weekend, we lost AC. Just not what we expected in a brand new home. I have a list that just never seems to be addressed, waiting for workers to come out. ... More
