My friend/real estate agent owned and sold many Lennar homes, so we had a first hand view into the process going into it. From start to finish communication was very poor and even worse within the Lennar team. Each individual we worked with was pretty good, but collectively it was a total mess. There are too many examples to give and I’ve already given Lennar so much of my time that I feel like I should be an employee. I have buy a few new home in my life. This been the worse a sloppy job was done on the finishing touch this home wasn’t moving ready. On my 1st call to repair stuff I put in 7 request. Forget outside work that a mother call. Really disappointed

My experience was a poor one from the time I put my contract in until now, three months after closing. There of been so many miscommunications and poor customer service issues they won’t all even fit in this review box. Suffice to say, I would never, under any conditions, build another house with Lennar.

As a real estate investor, I am a 5x Lennar home investor. 4 of them are in FL. This 5th home at Glen Pine is the worst closing experience I have ever had. I will not buy another home from Lennar in FL anymore. The main issues are poor workmanship at and missing house keys. My closing was delayed 4 weeks because of these and other issues. But I will just focus on the 2 mentioned. The major issue I had was the many exterior walls were discolored. Miranda, Lennar customer rep, was at orientation and final appt. First, we do love the house. However, Lennar has been a nightmare to work with. Up until the middle of January, we were told our house would be ready at the end of April of 2024 which would have been perfect timing for us. On January 18th we were told that we would be closing 12 days later on January 30th, giving us almost no warning whatsoever. If we delayed closing at all they were going to charge us $300 per day (READ YOUR CONTRACT!) for the delay. So we said fine, let us get our inspector in, like we mentioned at the beginning. They told us "Well, you need 30 days notice before closing in ...

The disorganized nature of your closing process and miscommunication was unparalleled. Never had a more frustrating experience in my life. Unresponsive. Rude. Disorganized. Lack of knowledge etc. I could not get keys but finally a woman who was a manager took time 7am on a Sunday morning to let me in. Love the area, but from the start had a bad experience with Lennar. First, we asked for a different sales consultant which they provide a different one but the first was still involved with paperwork. Second, tried to screw me out of an interest rate lock which was already accepted. Builders did a poor job with material and not following design as they had to rebuild my island on move in day with it being to far over. The builder is great at the beginning of the process to rope you in. Once you sign that purchase agreement communication goes to little or nothing. The price you pay for the home & the sloppy work done by the construction team is not worth your money.

If they don’t want a sloppy built home with a builder who doesn’t care because it’s all about who can build the most home in the shortest amount of time then stay away from lennar. The only time they care or reach out is when they get a bad review then you phone starts ringing & your email starts to go off. To be honest since day one I've been having bad experience with Lennars Home from the day I gave my deposit until my closing date plus things that currently have not been fixed when I was advised it will only take a week after my closing date. Just unacceptable.

I was forced to close the house on 11/30/21 just so that Lennar can report the sales before year-end closing. Closing was originally scheduled for online and later changed to notary. Signing was done at 11pm EST on 11/30 which was completely unreasonable. Sales/title company were unresponsive; lack of proper planning/communication (as everyone was overwork). The whole street is not even available on google map. All the houses around me are still under going construction. Rajmani is the only one that's responsive and be able to provide great service.

Absolutely awful home buying experience! There was zero communication about delays or the building process. The home was not ready for our walkthrough. Closing was moved multiple times with little to no notice. We attempted to contact customer “service” and NO ONE responded. Would not recommend Lennar as a builder. The entire experience left us disappointed and took the excitement out of buying our home.

The finance people don’t answer any calls or emails give me an hour heads up to close. Walk through was horrible. Walls weren’t straight, exterior paint doesn’t match, my washer wasn’t set up correctly and it flooded my laundry room the first time I used it. I have plenty more things that went wrong.
