Lennar's customer service is absolutely horrible. The responsiveness to customer issues is non-existent and no one seems to care that the home you are moving in to could be your place of living for the next 20 years or so. They seem more concerned with getting you closed and signed, your money in their hands then they stop responding to you. Slight issues are lumped in with major shortfalls in the construction and their response is, "it could take up to 90 days to resolve your issues". I had a bad experience with the prefer lender assigned by Lennar his name is Carlos Echeverry and when I did the closing my house had many unfinished details which were never solved.

Horrible building company. So many things wrong with house and finding more everyday. The communication was absolutely horrendous. We were told nothing about Hué about where the closing was going to take place etc. Then we find out closing is on the line my appointment was at four and we did not even get on the line until eight because they didn’t get on. Would never buy a Lennar home again

Would NEVER buy with Lennar EVER again. House was supposed to undergo several QC reviews before my walkthrough. During my First New Home Orientation there were still huge gashes in drywall, places weren't painted, couldn't even complete the walkthrough because utilities were not on and appliances weren't installed. They apologized, then proceeded to call us back twice to the same conditions. Home was promised in March. It was not delivered unitl the end of May. At the end of the quarter ( so it would look good on financials). A week prior to closing, we completed the home walk with lennar rep. 3 full pages of damaged items, inop equipment, broken tub and tile. Day of closing (7 days later) nothing was done. Some Repairs were done but here we are 8 months later, im still waiting for the last 4 items to be completed. NO SENSE OF URGENCY SINCE THEY ALREADY HAVE MY MONEY!

I've bought two homes now, one from another builder. I can say that every step of the way with lennar was shady. First, your salesman, Brian was too pushy. He kept giving us deadlines during the home initial contract to sign and give a deposit. This isn't a professional way to conduct business when you pressure someone to sign such a large purchase. Next, your build process and the excuses involved as to why the construction was delayed was unbelievable. I am surprised at how the quality of LENNAR has gone down, at the level of customer service it is a disaster and at the level of construction the people in charge seem not to be qualified for those job positions, such as the Construction manager, it is outrageous that a builder like Lennar is currently in such poor and disappointing circumstances.

My buying experience was very bad with Lennar, starting from salesperson to the entire sales team gave me hard time, poor communication while your home is getting built, they can lie about anything to just sell the home. I had a very good experience with Pulti homes, and they have excellent customer Servies, i will never ever buy a Lennar home again.

Aside from being bullied into purchasing a home that at the end of the day was built improperly. And I do not want. The walls are uneven. There's areas where the ceiling is lower on one side of a wall than the other. My glass door that should have been included in the house that I had to buy separately because they decided. They're no longer providing glass for the showers. And didn't even lower the price of the house because of it. I couldn't install it because I have to redo the entire shower wall because it's Bode. Never got my keys day of closing, lock was broken, it didn’t get fixed for weeks and keys never sent to me like I was told. I had to drive 2 hours to pick them up. Leaks in the house after day 3. No one likes to help, I had to call a lot of numbers to finally get a response. I had lots that needed to be fixed and it took over a month with lots of contractors coming almost daily. Months in they pushed closing date and made no progress for more than 6weeks on walk through we had holes in wall no fridge door no molding closet doors still not hung, tile missing grout, walls and ceiling was bowed…36 problems noted. Now the second walk through was much netter but we still had issues with promise to return as well as covering expenses for an extended stay in hotel due to first walk through and we are now almost two months in and no word.

Constant issues and lies

Initially I was very excited to build my new home with Lennar. That changed rather quickly. My closing was delayed over 6 months. When issues were discovered during the final walk through I was threatened with a daily fine if I did not close. There are items on the punch list that have still not been addressed almost 2 months after closing. I have contacted multiple people by phone and email and there is still no timeline on when the issues will be resolved. Overall I am very disappointed with the process and I will never recommend anyone buy a Lennar home.

Hands down the most dreadful homebuying experience. I've lost years off my life with the stress and frustration of working with Lennar. 10x worse than a colonoscopy cleanout, and a root canal with no anesthesia being done at the same time. Would not recommend a Lennar home to anyone. Sales associate to building supervisor were absolutely horrid. I arrived to my house after closing with front door lock improperly installed so I was unable to lock my front door. Was asked to just stay with it unlocked for one night. Miserable experience in the first 2 months

Yes, their warranty service is fairly quick to respond, but we have severe water damage every time it rains. We have torn the drywall apart in the front room three different times. The seams of the house were not sealed, there was a fist in the block wall about the size of my fist. This is rental property and we haven’t been able to put a single renter in after three months. I will not buy another Lennar home, the workmanship and quality are just not there.

I have bought at least 3 new homes in Florida over the last 30 years and I can say this is the worst experience I have ever had. The house was not ready in any fashion before we took it over. They told us 1 day before closing that they could not close. We had to find another solution for a temporary home for another 3 weeks at the last minute without any explanation from Lennar. the construction of my home took over 34 months and was plagued with the worst management I have ever seen in a home builder. It has been and still is the worst home buying experience of my life. In the end we never moved into this house because the delay took so long. We have the home listed for sale and again the delay in construction has cost us 100s of 1000s of dollars.

From the misinformation given to us about our purchase, by the sales associate, to the ridiculous lies told to us by the mortgage people and the astonishing lack of quality workmanship that is out into these homes I wouldn’t recommend my enemy to buy a LENNAR home! Lack of attention to details. The craftmanship
