I will never buy another lanar home in my life. This has been the worst home by experience ever

Aside from being bullied into purchasing a home that at the end of the day was built improperly. And I do not want. The walls are uneven. There's areas where the ceiling is lower on one side of a wall than the other. My glass door that should have been included in the house that I had to buy separately because they decided. They're no longer providing glass for the showers. And didn't even lower the price of the house because of it. I couldn't install it because I have to redo the entire shower wall because it's Bode. Meaning that it's not level. It's not even This has been an issue ...

Never got my keys day of closing, lock was broken, it didn’t get fixed for weeks and keys never sent to me like I was told. I had to drive 2 hours to pick them up. Leaks in the house after day 3. No one likes to help, I had to call a lot of numbers to finally get a response. I had lots that needed to be fixed and it took over a month with lots of contractors coming almost daily. This does not include all the blue stickers that were undone before closing. Lennar is not trustworthy in my opinion and to many of my neighbors as well. Months in they pushed closing date and made no progress for more than 6weeks on walk through we had holes in wall no fridge door no molding closet doors still not hung, tile missing grout, walls and ceiling was bowed…36 problems noted. Now the second walk through was much netter but we still had issues with promise to return as well as covering expenses for an extended stay in hotel due to first walk through and we are now almost two months in and no word.

Initially I was very excited to build my new home with Lennar. That changed rather quickly. My closing was delayed over 6 months. When issues were discovered during the final walk through I was threatened with a daily fine if I did not close. There are items on the punch list that have still not been addressed almost 2 months after closing. I have contacted multiple people by phone and email and there is still no timeline on when the issues will be resolved. Overall I am very disappointed with the process and I will never recommend anyone buy a Lennar home.

Hands down the most dreadful homebuying experience. I've lost years off my life with the stress and frustration of working with Lennar. 10x worse than a colonoscopy cleanout, and a root canal with no anesthesia being done at the same time. My house was barely completed, I was forced to close with a laundry list of issues, and I'm still chasing them down to fix things, having to take time off of work for items that should have been completed correctly in the first place. Would not recommend a Lennar home to anyone. Sales associate to building supervisor were absolutely horrid. I arrived to my house after closing with front door lock improperly installed so I was unable to lock my front door. Was asked to just stay with it unlocked for one night. Frame or door was full of holes from whoever tried to install previously. After hours of waiting lock was fixed by neighbor. Front door and sliding door left open so home was very dusty and dirty. Miserable experience in the first 2 months

Yes, their warranty service is fairly quick to respond, but we have severe water damage every time it rains. We have torn the drywall apart in the front room three different times. The seams of the house were not sealed, there was a fist in the block wall about the size of my fist. This is rental property and we haven’t been able to put a single renter in after three months. I will not buy another Lennar home, the workmanship and quality are just not there.

I have bought at least 3 new homes in Florida over the last 30 years and I can say this is the worst experience I have ever had. The house was not ready in any fashion before we took it over. They told us 1 day before closing that they could not close. We had to find another solution for a temporary home for another 3 weeks at the last minute without any explanation from Lennar. They promised to refund us for some of our extra costs but as yet it has not been given back. the construction of my home took over 34 months and was plagued with the worst management I have ever seen in a home builder. It has been and still is the worst home buying experience of my life. In the end we never moved into this house because the delay took so long. We have the home listed for sale and again the delay in construction has cost us 100s of 1000s of dollars.

From the misinformation given to us about our purchase, by the sales associate, to the ridiculous lies told to us by the mortgage people and the astonishing lack of quality workmanship that is out into these homes I wouldn’t recommend my enemy to buy a LENNAR home! We have had problems from day 1. Some to be expected, some not. Immediately upon move in, we found foundation issues, painting that needed to be done, light fixtures that fell out of the ceiling, broken air vent that shouldn't have been installed, broken dishwasher, new cabinetry cracked, broken tiles, shower doors with no weather stripping, front door you can see right outside, not installed properly, garage double door bending in half, missing parts/hardware. I hate this home. I will never recommend a Lennar home going forward. I was strong armed into closing when I should not have. This house is still being repaired from the original punch list. Our home was built in a guinea pig of semi-custom home neighborhood at a luxury price point. The Lennar project managers and subcontractors do not understand how to complete a home of this nature that isn't their traditional entry level home offer with only A, B or C options. The timeline was well beyond what we were promised, the sub-contractors created so much havoc that Lennar had over 200+ items to fix at close, and fortunately, we did not use the Lennar financing team, so we were able to not be forced to close with 200+ issues wrong with our home.
