I had such high hopes when I put my downpayment on my new townhome. I loved the idea of something that was all mine and that no one had ever lived in before. Additionally, the fact that my home would be a smart home and Lennar's promise that Everything Is Included made it that much more exciting. Sadly, the reality was far from the dream. I'm typing this 5 months after moving into my home and I still have a laundry list of items that need to be addressed from my punch list. Do not close on your home until everything is move in ready. Very inconvenient to try to schedule warranty items.

Very Bad Experience

My experience has been very bad, the customer service people are not responsible, the do not care about the client, they never fixed anything or to complement the commitments to fix the property, they make appointments and do not go they do not respect the client's lost time, they do not solve problems it really was one of my worst experiences buying this property, I would never recommend them.

Company just wants a sale

Company reps had no concern about customers, only keeping on schedule and selling a house. Build quality was not very good. Final cleaning was non existent. Company did not respond to issues we brought up on our final walkthru, only their own. Would never recommend them to anyone else

Worst experience we've ever had

Delays due to missed inspections, poor workmanship, rude and dishonest customer experience reps! Nothing about this house or our experience was worth half the money we paid for it. Lennar reps constantly lied and tried to cover up their mistakes and those of their subs. We were forced to close before the house was complete and every worker we've had in since then have commented on the poor work that was done. I'm ashamed to own a Lennar house.

from the sales person to the closing table; not what is expected lies and excuses... you most love the walkthrough before closing and see items hold by tape... 3 weeks after closing and items weren't fix.

Questions with new home consultant were never actually answered, they were ‘danced’ around. Had 9 pages of fixes to be done after initial walk through. Upon the ‘final walkthrough’ there were workers still in the house fixing things. I left explaining the final walkthrough should mean everything is done and ready for review. Still not all things have been corrected almost 2 months after move in. Very disappointing as a first time home buyer. Don’t recommend.

The experience was and still has been so bad, I would not recommend anyone this builder sadly. The service has not been good, still after 2 months of moving in to the house I still have things that have not been fixed, things that should have been done before the closing date.

Did not have a great experience. I am a first time homebuyer and it felt like the entire process was very rushed and the craftsmanship of the finishings is poor. Even before the home was completed, they forced a closing date and promised all cosmetic finishes would be complete within the next week. (i.e. painting of the walls, connecting the refrigerator/ice machine, roof finishes, uneven door handles, floor work, etc) It has been over 2 months, and they still have not done a single item on the punch list. During this 6 months Journey our house practically build itself without any concerns or diligence from any of the construction managers. Outstanding issues like the shifting of our entire foundation was never even recognized unless I physically came over to the construction site and made them aware. Don’t try to buy a home around the fiscal year end or any fiscal quarter because your home will be slapped to get it off their books and try to show a good profit. So many problems from rushing through a NHO to closing that problems and issues were not fixed or prior to closing due to doing a “Pre-sign” for closing.

It was a rough experience from the start. We had a sales man that was just that a salesman. It was tough to get updates because he has to constantly wait on someone else. It would be beneficial once locked in to be able to speak directly with the construction manager as there was a lot of inconsistencies. Even after telling them of the issues with the home early on, on the final walk through these issues were still present. I thought Lennar would have done a better job with my home. I am disappointed that I was directed to see the model home and everything in the model was SUPPOSED to be in my particular upgraded home. Very UPSET with Lennar.

Do not sign contract until all details are discussed and written in the builder's contract. Because all my upgrades were verbally promised to me by Sales Consultant, I believed him and signed contract within 3 hours of viewing the model. FYI, if it is not in writing....IT DID NOT HAPPEN!

We upgraded the tiles and cabinets to 42” and they installed the wrong tiles and cabinets without notification, the said that they ran out of the tiles we picked and installed a similar ones without notification also installed the 36” cabinets without notifying me either, they don’t have any communication with customers after they get your Downpayment. By far the worst buying experience we have ever had... We were initially excited to buy a home from Lennar. That excitement quickly faded after it became clear that Lennar's priority was to close on our home regardless of the countless examples of poor workmanship. From the sales office to senior leadership, everyone involved in our home buying process made it clear that meeting Lennar's sales quotas were more important than upholding any standard of quality, honesty or integrity. Will never buy from Lennar again.

Very poor workmanship. Defects that were promised to be repaired prior to closing were never repaired after I closed on my home. Work orders were submitted and the repairs were refused. These surveys are a complete waste of time, because there is no follow-up and nothing is done to make things right.
