I was extremely disappointed with my whole Lennar home buying experience. My NHC Steven was horrible. I would constantly reach out for updates/status of my home multiple times before I would receive a response. It was always the same answer no change this is post COVID times and it takes a lot longer to get things done. My previous property manager from a rental I was living at told me to get a new NHC because Steven was horrible, and I should have listened to them. Lennar title. Same exact thing. Constant requests ignored and I was 2 days out from closing and still did not have a closing ...

Delays due to missed inspections, poor workmanship, rude and dishonest customer experience reps! Nothing about this house or our experience was worth half the money we paid for it. Lennar reps constantly lied and tried to cover up their mistakes and those of their subs. We were forced to close before the house was complete and every worker we've had in since then have commented on the poor work that was done. I'm ashamed to own a Lennar house.

Lennar was absolutely the worst home building experience we’ve ever been through. Extremely unorganized. Quality of work was horrendous. Lack of communication. Cleanliness was horrible. We will never build with Lennar again and will do everything we can to get others to avoid this builder.

Months in they pushed closing date and made no progress for more than 6weeks on walk through we had holes in wall no fridge door no molding closet doors still not hung, tile missing grout, walls and ceiling was bowed…36 problems noted. Now the second walk through was much netter but we still had issues with promise to return as well as covering expenses for an extended stay in hotel due to first walk through and we are now almost two months in and no word.

Constant issues and lies

Initially I was very excited to build my new home with Lennar. That changed rather quickly. My closing was delayed over 6 months. When issues were discovered during the final walk through I was threatened with a daily fine if I did not close. There are items on the punch list that have still not been addressed almost 2 months after closing. I have contacted multiple people by phone and email and there is still no timeline on when the issues will be resolved. Overall I am very disappointed with the process and I will never recommend anyone buy a Lennar home.

Lennar has slight improvement in overall quality. However, it's still not meet customer's satisfaction. Responsiveness and coordination are still a big issues. Property orientation and closing arrangements are very confusing and not considering customer's need. Time response is extremely slow and sometimes not even replying customer's questions.

from the sales person to the closing table; not what is expected lies and excuses... you most love the walkthrough before closing and see items hold by tape... 3 weeks after closing and items weren't fix.

Home buying experience was as bad as it gets. Delays, LACK of commutation to no communication. Closing date got pushed multiple times. Sales Rep was terrible. Only one person who interacted with us during final inspection was good and as professional you would expect when you are making biggest purchase of your life. I will never ever go with Lennar again! If you’re looking for a home, don’t ever go with Lennar. Save yourself the hassle and certainly save your money invested somewhere else. once I started the process with them, we faced absolutely endless problems. Even after we moved in the house nothing but issues( leaking dishwasher, plumbing issues where they had to cut the drywall all over again, electricity issues, air-conditioning unit doesn’t work…..etc)

Hands down the most dreadful homebuying experience. I've lost years off my life with the stress and frustration of working with Lennar. 10x worse than a colonoscopy cleanout, and a root canal with no anesthesia being done at the same time. My house was barely completed, I was forced to close with a laundry list of issues, and I'm still chasing them down to fix things, having to take time off of work for items that should have been completed correctly in the first place. Always is somebody else in the company to blame. The seller agent offer incentives and sign them on a contract and then is a corporate problem we can not fulfill them. The lender blame the seller agent then his boss go sick then the lender is on vacation. Then the warranty agent blames the builder the builder blame the workers then nobody answer the phone then is something else. If Learn something about Lennar is they always excuse themselves with somebody else. But when you work for the same company. Me as a costumer don’t care in which department you work. Never again

Would not recommend a Lennar home to anyone. Sales associate to building supervisor were absolutely horrid. I arrived to my house after closing with front door lock improperly installed so I was unable to lock my front door. Was asked to just stay with it unlocked for one night. Frame or door was full of holes from whoever tried to install previously. After hours of waiting lock was fixed by neighbor. Front door and sliding door left open so home was very dusty and dirty. Lennar takes no pride in assuring craftsmanship in their home building. During my NHO walk through, in every room throughout the home, there was drywall, painting, and baseboards that were damaged, in need of repairs/repaint and/or replaced. Closet doors are stained with dirty hand prints from installers not wearing cloves or washing their hands. Floor grout was not cleaned properly, making the floors appear to look dirty and dingy, not to mention poorly grouted with holes or gaps throughout. Miserable experience in the first 2 months

Yes, their warranty service is fairly quick to respond, but we have severe water damage every time it rains. We have torn the drywall apart in the front room three different times. The seams of the house were not sealed, there was a fist in the block wall about the size of my fist. This is rental property and we haven’t been able to put a single renter in after three months. I will not buy another Lennar home, the workmanship and quality are just not there.

Next level terrible company and so funny that my first review was deemed inappropriate. No bad language, no threats, just the truth. Lennar is a morally bankrupt company that produces a sub par product. Just for good measure they make you take solar and reap the 26% tax benefit. I am not sure how anyone who works for this company can sleep at night.

I have bought at least 3 new homes in Florida over the last 30 years and I can say this is the worst experience I have ever had. The house was not ready in any fashion before we took it over. They told us 1 day before closing that they could not close. We had to find another solution for a temporary home for another 3 weeks at the last minute without any explanation from Lennar. They promised to refund us for some of our extra costs but as yet it has not been given back. We have had nothing but problems with Lennar. There's no quality, no customer service and no accountability. The closing was postponed six or seven times, our calls and emails were rarely answered, we've submitted warranty claims left and right and some are even repeat that they just can't get it done correct.
