Throughout the purchase process I was told things by the Lennar realtor that were later found out to be straight lies. They told me that all the supply’s were secured and the only issue would be labor. My house was then delayed for 10 months with no real explanation. But I’m pretty sure it was delayed to get smaller houses done to meet Lennar’s quota for their stock value. The walk thru got delayed until the day of close even though I was repeatedly told how detailed their quality checks were flawless nothing was addressed before closing. We went and looked at the exact home that we wanted, it looked wonderful. We were told that everything in that house is what we were getting. Wood-like tile, crown molding that you can actually see (we got molding that is about two inches thick, useless waste of money), etc. NOT what we got AT ALL. Our house was supposed to be done in November, then we were told December, & every month that it wasn’t ready, we were told it would be ready the next month, until finally, May rolls around & it was done. These is our second time buying a home and the experience with Lennar is awful. No one respond in a timely manner to any situation. Home was close with lots of open items that I need to follow up week and no one can confirm when they are going to get fix. The right hand does not know what the left hand does. The quality of equipment and construction do not match the price. Every time I call for follow up have to go over what is needed, they do keep track of customer situations or items. I couldn't have had worst experience than buying a home from Lennar. I was deceived in signing the purchase of the wrong home. When I spoke to the Orlando sales consultant about his mistake he said he couldn’t change it. I ended up with a subpar home. A home with gross poor workmanship, with over 130 areas to be fixed, malfunction equipments , a wavy all, you name it. To make matters worst, the home was nothing like the one I had toured to buy. This is our 2nd home that we purchased with Lennar the 1st one was in 2017 and it had way better quality. The price for this home is way higher but the materials are completely lower in quality Lennar keeps justifying that the inventory is low but it seems like it's actually just trying to get cheaper materials. We recognized Lennar for striving to deliver the best smart and best product in the market but in the market but it seems like it's not anymore. Sad.

The Lennar purchasing experience has been the worst purchasing experience of my life. I have been buying homes, cars and other big purchases for the last 43 years and the Lennar purchasing experience has been the worst. The willingness of Lennar mortgage to ignore signed agreements for locking in the rate and charge a full percentage point over and above the lock-in rate, in addition to penalizing us with more than $3,000 for the higher rate, were just a few of the glaring issues. The quality of materials and specially the workmanship is way below the minimum standards. If I went back, I would go with another company. Low value for what you pay and I almost feel like getting catfished with this house. The original construction manager and customer manager were rude and refused to address all the issues. If you are in the market for a new build PLEASE look at the reviews on line for Lennar and PLEASE consider other options.

It was only about the sale - this whole house buying experience was horrible. It was all about the sale and nothing more than that. I closed on a house and was told that I had homeowners insurance and was even given a policy just to find out that my insurance was canceled two days after purchasing. To this day no one has taken ownership of what went wrong no one has called to apologize and I only found out when I went to buy new homeowners insurance. That’s not the worst part, Every time a vendor came to fix an issue that should’ve been fixed during construction they damaged something else ...

All my tiles are uneven, I have been waiting months for my grading to be fix. Yesterday a light fixture fell out of the ceiling. The walls are extremely thin I can hear all the pipes when I turn on the water. The house was poorly insulated. The list goes on and on.

Lennar mortgage was a hot mess. Will never use them again. Love my home but the workmanship was not up to what Lennar says their standards are. Horrible trim, drywall and painting. Door going to garage from inside the house installed crooked, light switches are not consistent throughout the house, clogged drains and broken tiles that had to be fixed after closing. They are at your beckon call until closing and then they are too busy to get back to you. It’s more about quality than quality for them. Just a few changes and attention to details could make a huge difference. Very disappointing ...

Walls are off centered, basebroad are crooked, bad craftmanship all across the broad, all they want is your money; no one took the time out to make sure that the house structure is centered properly. It is a pain the be dealing with: toilets weren't flushing properly, dry lawn, spiders, ants, and bugs all over your home. cracked bathroom mirror, chipped bathroom tub, chipped appliances, long grooved on window, etc. It is a pain living in our new home and dealing with all these issues so early; no one takes the blames.....

This is our 3rd home we have built. 1st Richmond American, 2nd Standard Pacific and 3rd Lennar. From the purchase process to construction to workmanship to customer service we have had a horrible experience with Lennar. We thought we knew what we were getting into having built homes before but this was by far the worst all around.

From the beginning of building our home to this day, I have had issues with building my home. It started with not being able to upgrade our kitchen, even though I was the first person to pick a lot in the new phase. I later find out that others were able to pick the upgraded kitchen. I then had a home inspector check on the home before drywall and found 30 plus items that needed to be addressed, which major items were not addressed at the time when it was easier for everyone, but later when drywall was already installed. If I could do this all over again and the house was Free I wouldn’t go Lennar!!! Save yourself the headache! Please go with another builder. I could write a book with how many things went wrong from the loan process to now . I bought my home nov 2019 and I still cannot use my master bedroom because of poor worksmanship DO NOT BUY LENNAR ! Truthfully they don’t even deserve one star.

We found the quality of craftsmanship is marginal to say the least. Repair projects are still not completed after almost five months. As an example the holes in our outside gable were patched months later an now appears to be coming undone and we are still not able to use our two bathtubs due to improper installation. Lennar’s communication process needs to be restructured to reflect vast improvements.

We signed our contract for a new home in 2/2019 and were told that we could expect closing to take place sometime around mid-November. When we received an email that our closing date had been pushed up to 10/1 we were thrilled. Disaster on Creekmore!

We cannot begin to describe how poorly our home is constructed and the very poor fit finish. Windows were now working. There were entire areas that were not painted. There were gaps in the cement block walls in the garage. The lawn was installed incorrectly. Closet doors were missing and one that was installed fell off. The property close was jammed down our throats by some VP who took advantage of the fact that we were not on-site to do a final inspection. 3 months after the close and there are still outstanding issues. We will NEVER, EVER buy another Lennar home!
