Would not recommend a Lennar home to anyone. Sales associate to building supervisor were absolutely horrid. I arrived to my house after closing with front door lock improperly installed so I was unable to lock my front door. Was asked to just stay with it unlocked for one night. Frame or door was full of holes from whoever tried to install previously. After hours of waiting lock was fixed by neighbor. Front door and sliding door left open so home was very dusty and dirty. Lennar takes no pride in assuring craftsmanship in their home building. During my NHO walk through, in every room throughout the home, there was drywall, painting, and baseboards that were damaged, in need of repairs/repaint and/or replaced. Closet doors are stained with dirty hand prints from installers not wearing cloves or washing their hands. Floor grout was not cleaned properly, making the floors appear to look dirty and dingy, not to mention poorly grouted with holes or gaps throughout. Miserable experience in the first 2 months

Yes, their warranty service is fairly quick to respond, but we have severe water damage every time it rains. We have torn the drywall apart in the front room three different times. The seams of the house were not sealed, there was a fist in the block wall about the size of my fist. This is rental property and we haven’t been able to put a single renter in after three months. I will not buy another Lennar home, the workmanship and quality are just not there.

Next level terrible company and so funny that my first review was deemed inappropriate. No bad language, no threats, just the truth. Lennar is a morally bankrupt company that produces a sub par product. Just for good measure they make you take solar and reap the 26% tax benefit. I am not sure how anyone who works for this company can sleep at night.

I have bought at least 3 new homes in Florida over the last 30 years and I can say this is the worst experience I have ever had. The house was not ready in any fashion before we took it over. They told us 1 day before closing that they could not close. We had to find another solution for a temporary home for another 3 weeks at the last minute without any explanation from Lennar. They promised to refund us for some of our extra costs but as yet it has not been given back. We have had nothing but problems with Lennar. There's no quality, no customer service and no accountability. The closing was postponed six or seven times, our calls and emails were rarely answered, we've submitted warranty claims left and right and some are even repeat that they just can't get it done correct. the construction of my home took over 34 months and was plagued with the worst management I have ever seen in a home builder. It has been and still is the worst home buying experience of my life. In the end we never moved into this house because the delay took so long. We have the home listed for sale and again the delay in construction has cost us 100s of 1000s of dollars.

It was a really bad experience buying and doing the walk through of the house . House was not properly finished. Still pending a lot of things to be complete. Never answer phone calls or emails. They are in the business of making money and they are rushing the process and cutting corners. Complicating and making it worse for the homeowners

From the misinformation given to us about our purchase, by the sales associate, to the ridiculous lies told to us by the mortgage people and the astonishing lack of quality workmanship that is out into these homes I wouldn’t recommend my enemy to buy a LENNAR home! There were so many things wrong I can’t list them all! LENNAR and all who are affiliated with this company should be ashamed of themselves!

Questions with new home consultant were never actually answered, they were ‘danced’ around. Had 9 pages of fixes to be done after initial walk through. Upon the ‘final walkthrough’ there were workers still in the house fixing things. I left explaining the final walkthrough should mean everything is done and ready for review. Still not all things have been corrected almost 2 months after move in. Very disappointing as a first time home buyer. Don’t recommend.

The experience was and still has been so bad, I would not recommend anyone this builder sadly. The service has not been good, still after 2 months of moving in to the house I still have things that have not been fixed, things that should have been done before the closing date.

Lennar is no longer the company that use to be. The quality of their new homes is truly sad to see. My issue can be summarized in one sentence: Brand new home with a huge leak on the roof! Took MONTHS for them to resolve the issues. All they care about is closing closing closing. Consider other options for a new home purchase.

Throughout the purchase process I was told things by the Lennar realtor that were later found out to be straight lies. They told me that all the supply’s were secured and the only issue would be labor. My house was then delayed for 10 months with no real explanation. But I’m pretty sure it was delayed to get smaller houses done to meet Lennar’s quota for their stock value. We went and looked at the exact home that we wanted, it looked wonderful. We were told that everything in that house is what we were getting. Lennar's customer service is absolutely horrible. The responsiveness to customer issues is non-existent and no one seems to care that the home you are moving in to could be your place of living for the next 20 years or so. They seem more concerned with getting you closed and signed, your money in their hands then they stop responding to you. Slight issues are lumped in with major shortfalls in the construction and their response is, "it could take up to 90 days to resolve your issues".
