This was our first time buying a new home and it was first time directly from the builder. Everything was as agreed, we didn't find hidden fees or situations indicating that the company wanted to take advantage of us. Very serious team: Abigail Coloso, Loany, Renata, Kristy Koen, and many others that i met during construction and closing process. Since we live in Texas and the home is in Florida, i was anticipating many potential issues, however, just minimum or none. I would buy again from Lennar.

Going from a custom build where I got to pick every last detail, to this type of a build where I get no choices was hard. We knew what model we wanted, we knew what development we wanted but after that we really didn’t get any choices. Colors, what lot, front patio or not and the timeline; there are zero choices. Also on paper the development looks great. But once you’re in you’ll find the garages are barely big enough for your car, let alone extra space for storage. Second time buyers not happy this time

This is our second (and last) Lennar home. Our first experience was excellent, good quality in all aspects. This time has been totally different, poor quality of frames, finishes and details. Two months after moving we’re waiting for many details to be addressed by the quality department. So sad to realize how a company like Lennar has decreased its quality in such a dramatic pace. If you decide to buy Lennar be sure to do the inspection before closing.

Overall everything was going well. Until we handed over our down payment. Then it felt like pulling my teeth to get any questions answered by the Lennar staff. Their mortgage company was the same way. They were great till closing day. Then it felt like pulling teeth to get anything answered. Then out loan was sold off to another company and Lennar failed on multiple occasions to transfer the payment amounts and allocations properly. Overall I love our new home and everyone who helped in the process was amazing. Jeff was great to work with and was very responsive to all my questions and requests to view the home. From bad to worse

I have been working with Lennar for approximately 9 years and I have seen how over the years they are doing things from bad to worse and I appreciate that management does not care or at least they cannot do anything since the level of command is followed by one family member to another, in many cases the construction manager is the wife of the person who is in customer care or the brother of the guarantee and so in this way they cannot make each other look bad. The sale staff was nice to deal with However, the quality of the products is not . The construction Materials used are very ship. I was expecting more. For the money that I paid, and when something is reported to the guarantee company and they put so many excuses. Exemple: I called the guarantee because the Garage floor is cracking and they said that it is not covered by the warranty. It happened when I had 2 weeks leaving in the house. No doubt so sheap materials.

Sales agent is awesome, loan officer might be the most unprofessional person I have ever done business with, service request was okay but rigid on time availability and not considering the customer, customer service agents are great but can do a little with empathy, some finishing could have been better and materials installed a little better. Overall, not enough positive to refer someone or even think about future business with the company.

I've bought two homes now, one from another builder. I can say that every step of the way with lennar was shady. First, your salesman, Brian was too pushy. He kept giving us deadlines during the home initial contract to sign and give a deposit. This isn't a professional way to conduct business when you pressure someone to sign such a large purchase. Lennar mortgage officer Tom was quite difficult to work with, After establishing this was my first property and needed various issues explained, at times the answers were borderline rude, left me feeling like an idiot for asking a question he was inferring I should know the answer. Was nice in general conversation but didn't feel the need to explain. I found issues with his work, initially I wanted 20% down. However, I had a terrible experience with Lennar tille company. It was very frustrating and disappointing experience. The day of the closing, my wife and I end up on the street with no place to live because, Lennar tittle didn’t do their job. They realized the down payment money was not was not there, when they were about to give the key if my house. And the worst part is, that they didn’t take responsibility for their mistake.
