They use cheap carpet, cheap drywall, and when you purchase a brand new build, you expect things to work. I have had to call and set up a plethora of appointments to fix things that weren't working or were installed incorrectly. Don't do it! The one good thing is the customer service for fixing the issues is actually really great.

Excelente personal and fast closing process

Initially I was very excited to build my new home with Lennar. That changed rather quickly. My closing was delayed over 6 months. When issues were discovered during the final walk through I was threatened with a daily fine if I did not close. There are items on the punch list that have still not been addressed almost 2 months after closing. I have contacted multiple people by phone and email and there is still no timeline on when the issues will be resolved. Overall I am very disappointed with the process and I will never recommend anyone buy a Lennar home.

Every step of the process we were informed. No guess work involved. Lennar always communicated and was very responsive to our concerns.

If they don’t want a sloppy built home with a builder who doesn’t care because it’s all about who can build the most home in the shortest amount of time then stay away from lennar. The only time they care or reach out is when they get a bad review then you phone starts ringing & your email starts to go off. You have to live with a bad built & try to fix things yourself because of incompetent construction crew & a lennar team that wants to make sure there pay check is correct. All I can say is don’t buy a home from these guys.

Leah was our sales rep and She was absolutely amazing! She always updated us with any new information and always answered any questions we had throughout the purchasing process. One of the negative things was that the closing kept getting delayed, but I understand its something that happens a lot in new construction and it’s something Leah warned us about. I would say that the main thing that I’m disappointed with is just getting items fixed in a timely manner with the builders warranty. Still waiting on several items that I submitted weeks ago. Lennar has slight improvement in overall quality. However, it's still not meet customer's satisfaction. Responsiveness and coordination are still a big issues. Property orientation and closing arrangements are very confusing and not considering customer's need. Time response is extremely slow and sometimes not even replying customer's questions.

Overall I wouldn't recommend a Lennar community to others. You are inundated with so many different people during the buying and closing process, who knows who anyone is and why are there so many different titled people to handle this process. They don't all communicate together and it shouldn't be my job solely to keep everyone up to date, especially if I'm not receiving answers for issues. I was under the impression that I wouldn't be dealing with the same type of unexpected issues that arise when buying an already established home. We've had the electricians and plumbers out numerous times since closing and moving in. Our home should not have been plumbed backward and that is something that should have been caught in an inspection. Items on a to do list for a pre closing walkthrough should be addressed and not have to be made an exception when not completed by closing. This may summarize the overall experience; 15 minutes on my way to closing, I got a call stating "not to arrive to the office because they were not ready for us yet"... I was told by the lady who showed us the house that the solar system was included with the house (which was not) and eventually cost us is a bit over $5,000 from incentives that we couldn't get because the lack of information between all involved during the sale who failed to guide us, even though that we explicitly stated several times our willingness to purchase the solar system. We could have easily stepped down from the sale or at least held it but because we were from out state and we really wanted the house, we decided to bite the bullet. Among many construction deficiencies, we are still not happy with the pavers repairs, even though that most were replaced, they all look like if they were bought second hand and still (as of today May 2. 2023) "all" look stained, not even one look new... some have foot paint and I was told, for me to remove it with "warm water and scrub", which I tried with no avail. I got like more than 50 calls asking for silly bank transactions... most of the repairs have been completed but it's a new house and it shouldn't have as many faults as it had/has.... Too many people involved that did not know or communicate with each other. It should be one centralized point of contact thus to avoid any conflicting information. Good customer service and communication

from the sales person to the closing table; not what is expected lies and excuses... you most love the walkthrough before closing and see items hold by tape... 3 weeks after closing and items weren't fix.

easy to navigate through the issues

A lot of things left undone or inoperable. Many things overlooked or ignored. Your people cannot be this blind. One gal stopped by here and wouldn’t listen to anything I said. She should be fired for her conduct. Some to most of your people are third rate at best. The backyard is even incomplete with relation to the entire property. You’ll be surprised when you get the list I send to have fixed or finished. It’s not a short list

The buyer ends up purchasing what Lennar wants you to purchase and not necessarily what you want to because of their restrictions on color, location, model, interior finishes, etc.. In our case, the closing was sloppy and not very informative, the washing machine crapped out right after we moved in (the included GE appliances are extremely bottom of the line), the Lennar Warranty link was consistently broken each time we attempted to file a claim, and the only people that seemed genuinely interested in helping were the salesman (Ryan) and the Construction Manager (Ed). Too many issues take time to file and resolve, and on their schedule. We have many more claims to file and have only been in the house 7 weeks! We're afraid that the resolution may end up being worse than the problem. ... More

Lissette and James were very helpful with the final walkthrough. Very knowledgeable and will always rely on them when we have any questions

It was and has been dissapointing

The construction took 2 months more than anticipated. The communication or updates on the status of the house were very poor because The construction team was not providing updates. Once we moved into the house they were multiple concerns of undone repairs and we are still dealing with necessary repairs. Also, The tiles style were changed without notice to the buyer

No quality on materials, no good finishing, no response on issues after closing.
