My home buying experience was every bit of amazing, every step was as smooth as possible Kelli my agent was amazing along with Nichole and my realtor. Originally I planned to hold off on purchasing my home till next year and so many great incentives came down and it was all going so smooth me and my girls got into our home for Halloween. The most difficult part was the financing. The house is nice but they could have installed a tissue holder and in the kitchen used a better faucet. The front door could use a peep hole. Everyone in the process from financing to closing was nice and professional.

I just can’t get past the small door into the Master bath. They say law only requires one wheelchair accessible restroom door, but so what! Do you know what it costs to change it? Raise the initial price a couple hundred bucks and do it right! That is way, way cheaper than doing it later… Just my input on a weird situation.

Overall our experience was great. Very easy process in getting into our home. Had a couple of issues just in material issues. Each time I've gone to the office and before I could get back home the superintendent was waiting for me and either corrected the issue on the spot or had repairs scheduled before he left.

Hours after I closed water was poring through the ceiling. In the same spot where my inspection highlighted. I was told it was fixed. They didn’t even replace all the damaged Sheetrock, the texture had to be done three times. The painters (also had to come three times) dropped paint on my furniture, didn’t even have sheets or something to cover areas so they didn’t get paint in the house. The painters also don’t speak English, they had no clue what I was saying. I ended up having to buy paint. I painted the entire ceiling because you could see a huge circle in the ceiling. Sales person violated federal by refusing handicap accommodations. Larry Seiple was tremendous to work with during mortgage process. He is sole reason I did move forward with charges against Lennar. The construction managers have been responsive to issues with construction defects.Lennar does not use high quality materials. The HOA is not at all responsive

From the start Melissa showed us several different floor plans that would suit our needs. We settled on one and the purchase process started. David took over and was great to work with. Several other Lennar employees were involved and they were all very nice and helpful. The overall purchase process was excellent. The quality of the home is a four (4.) That is due to the interior trim work being of a lesser quality than expected (not up to par with the model home.) And the fact that they offer no upgrades. What you see is what you get. After living in the home for two weeks, I feel the craftsmanship of the home was done very cheaply and very economically for the Builder. Materials used as far as fixtures are the cheapest Builder grade they can get. With fixed windows in most of the rooms, other than bedrooms where you need to have egress in case of fire. Cabinet storage is very sparse and the garages are very tiny. This is kind of on us. We should’ve looked closer before our purchase. Closing walk through was rushed, prior inspection revealed many issues, these were to be handled before final walkthrough, yet most were not. “QA” person mentioned he had another appointment and that we needed to hurry up. When pointing out that many previous issues were not addressed, we were asked if we could “live with them”. Back door was missing a hinge pin, making it inoperable, reported this and followed up with a phone call to warranty service, no one ever came out and we ended up replacing ourselves after 3 plus days of no response. I will start with the positives, the home was good value for the price paid and Lennar bought down the rate and covered closing costs. In terms of the home build itself I will say TERRIBLE quality control. Blatant errors that they tried to hide during the walkthrough then refused to fix when I brought them up. Only when I gave them a 0 out of 10 on their rating survey did they reach out to fix them. Even now after living here for roughly 2 months I am finding more and more things wrong. In an obvious attempt to keep costs down the quality between phases seems to decrease:( Eg: elimination of patios; elimination of front door e-locks; elimination of under.counter kitchen sink mounts; and elimination of double vanities in master bath. It took 2 months to get assigned mailbox. In the interim, it was necessary to drive to the post office daily.
