I thoroughly enjoyed buying a home from Lennar. The process was easy, especially, since I was living in another state. All the team members were extremely responsive and caring. I would definitely recommend Lennar homes.

Mark did what my real estate agent did not do. I used a financing program that is not is not normally used (USDA Single Family Homes). Most people are not familiar with it. This financing program requires that you purchase in certain areas. The USDA originally said that the location I had selected was within the required location but 2 months before closing they informed me that the location I selected was NOT within the required locations. I was devastated. I called Mark and my agent to let them know that I was not going to be able to purchase the home because of the location. While my agent accepted this, Mark did not. Mark called my contact at the USDA and was able to convince them that the home I was interested in did fall in the necessary location. Mark is an incredible asset to Lennar. I wish we had more Marks in the world!! I am so grateful for him. Mark held my hand through the whole home purchasing process. From the beginning everyone was kind and informative. The day I signed the contract until they day I closed everyone involved went above and beyond in making this a smooth transition. It had been 15 years since my last purchase and move but everyone made my experience a positive and I am glad that I chose Lennar.

This is the 7th home I have owned and by far this was the best experience from start to finish. The quality of the home construction is also great. Best home I have owned and great folks to work with.

Overall experience buying a Lennar home has been excellent! Very friendly and helpful team. The only major problem was landscaping/grading. Hopefully this will get resolved soon. We love our Lennar home here in the Pensacola area!

OVERALL QUALITY GOOD I WHICH THAT LENNAR PERMIT MODIFICATION TO INTERIOR , LIKE COLOR , EXTRA HOLES ON SINK OR FLOOR OPTION AND SHOWER HEAD IS TO HIGHT UP OTHER THEN THAT EVERYTHING IS GOOD

Great staff and easy to work with kept us informed on each phase from the beginning to the end.

Rebecca replied promptly to all questions or concerns. The closing was done long distance using docusign. There were a few issues with the finished product. Most were fixed, but not all. Rebecca must have been reassigned, because we have not seen her since we moved in.

I thought the master bedroom (bathroom) was small The shower is the size porta poddy

There were many punch list items to be completed. There should be a punch list team that goes to each house to fix all the items prior to turning it over to the buyer. Also concern about the HOA, I know this is going to be ours, but now it is Lennar's. A lot of financial concerns.

My experience was not the best. I loved my seller Rebecca and the builder Kent. They really are fantastic people. They were very responsive to issues and would get them fixed quickly. However, the lender side of Lennar was a nightmare. Larry and his team did not communicate well with each other or with my realtor. Actually, we were several months in before they actively included my realtor; which in turn made my experience more difficult and frustrating as a first time homebuyer. The right hand didn't know what the left hand was doing. I was given bad and inaccurate information and was made to resend info that I had submitted multiple times already in the portal. I would get info from one person saying everything was good and in a matter of minutes I would have another person saying all in going to hell. Nerve racking and frustrating is an understatement. ... The lennar staff is great . As for the quality of work done on house , poor quality on finishing and concrete . Most trim has big nail holes, broken pieces or poor patch work and even worse paint , if painted at all along the bottom trim, driveway has multiple cracks, chunks broken out, pitting , and exposed rock where finish wasn’t completed . This is a brand new construction build , things that should have been replaced were just attempted patch jobs . As for the Lvp floors, glue seeps through multiple seems throughout house, several planks are lifting and just left that way . Kitchen flooring deeply gouged and scratched. Between range and island . Final review will be based on if and when these issues are addressed and on what timeline they are fixed . Lot of damaged items installed in home. Counter tops, shower and tub, towel rack. Finishing nails exposed in trim, glue all over floors from flooring install. Lack of quality for price.

Walls are crooked and you can tell by the baseboards, how hard is it for the superintendent to put a straight edge on it to check and say something to the framers to fix the issue, plumbing issues slow drain or no drain, had 3 plumbers out here to repair issues, flooring has issues, either scratched or scuffed, doors are squeaking bc they use mdf boards as door frames and the hinges are touching it, so when you open the door they make noise. Entire home was 379k and has no brick at all, it’s all Hardieboard, above garage I had to put caulking bc the siding had a1/2” gap and I didn’t want rain water to rot my new home away in a few years. One word - ridiculous of what they consider a good home builder. Conclusion - I would never buy a house from Lennar again. ... More

We moved forward with purchase, despite reading some of the previous reviews and homeowner issues. We submitted 6 warranty claims within 1 month of living in the home, which was not the issue as I anticipated "some" minor issues, however they were all a result of poor craftsman ship, what appears to be a rush to complete/ close and move on, and lack of attention to detail. Lennar Mortgage, which thankfully we did not use, was also difficult to work with, did not want to honor their verbal offers and wasnt until we were prepared to walk away did they decide to "stand by" their word and honor a purchase incentive. Our neighbors have all had similar stories with varying degrees of issues. Our issues (light switches not connected, grinder failures before moving in, seems and joints not lining up and stains set into flooring and carpet) were minor compared to some of our neighbors. I will say the vendors that have came out to repair issues have been courteous and timely. ... More

My experience began with a very energetic salesperson and loan processor who worked to get my home under contract. My experience went downhill from the time I did the final walkthrough, closing, and moving into a home that has lots of poor workmanship and materials. The final walkthrough was conducted by the Superintendent alone, no salesperson. The Title company, was horrid to say the least. We met with a Notary and no one from the Title company addressed us at all. The title company sent emails indicating that we were to return to the home after the closing, however there was no one here to meet us, we had to go find the Superintendent who showed us where the keys were. No one bothered to explain who we were to contact for utilities or where to pick up our mail as the mailboxes were not operable. The painters dripped paint on my tub, light switches, tile holders and the floors. The concrete installers missed a section of the back patio, so we had to except a glaring difference in the concrete or the section would be without concrete creating a breach between the patio and the back of the house. In the front walkway, the concrete is not only cracking, it is breaking up and we are being told that nothing can be done to correct the problem. The concrete in the garage is not level, and again we are being told that nothing can be done and if something is done, we will have two different colors of concrete in the garage. Nothing has been done so far, therefore, I do not trust Lennar as a builder and have serious regrets about my decision to purchase my home from Lennar. Poor construction management, doorknobs all over the house falling off doors, nails sticking up in the carpet, used razors found in the yard, literally dozens of instances of overspray, you can see points where studs are on the wall (not flush) Garage doesn’t actually fit things with the advertised depth (it’s a couple inches shorter, my truck would’ve fit if it was in fact the 20’ advertised). When I inquired about this I had no response. Lots of electrical and construction debris found in the back yard. All of this was after a home inspection that found unsecured roof shingles, missing insulation, even more overspray, broken microwave, damaged garage door, broken garage door opener, and a couple other issues (that’s just off the top of my head). ... Major delays from the start, then rushing to closing. Home was NOT ready during final walk through. Was promised at closing issues would be resolved before closing was over, but 6 hours after closing we still had workers in our home. Concrete was cracked upon move in, lights hanging out of ceiling, walls not painted, appliance parts missing, bowed walls, etc. Over all the structure/bones of the home are great; however the finishes are extremely poor quality. Getting a hold of people about issues has been nearly impossible. The build/buying process was a disaster, at least coming from a first time home buyer. They rushed the process to make up for delays, and cutting corners is definitely noticeable in the finishes of the home. ... More

Promises made are not always promises kept. We still have stickers on the outside of our windows and construction debris in our yard. I have no plants growing in my flower beds and the palm trees are only alive because we are watering them. The sink materials are plastic. Make sure everything is done before you close or it won’t get done for months.
