THIS IS MY THIRD CONDO AT BABCOCK NATIONAL. I SHOULD HAVE LEARNED FROM THE FIRST CONDO EXPERIENCE NOT TO PURCHASE A SECOND ONE. MY THOUGHT WAS TO GIVE LENNAR A SECOND CHANCE WHICH I DID. THE EXPERIENCE WAS A LITTLE BETTER BUT STILL DISMAL. THE THIRD IS BACK TO THE FIRST, VERY BAD, THE WORKMANSHIP IS TERRIBLE AND THE CONSTRUCTION MANAGERS ARE TOO BUSY PUSHING OUT NEW PRODUCT RATHER THAN TAKING CARE OF THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE ALREADY CLOSED ON THEIR UNITS. NO MORE LENNAR FOR ME.

Arthur our sales person from the beginning of the sales process up through closing was always there to answer any questions and work on our behalf as needed. Post closing we have been quite happy and pleased with the virtual customer service calls established to handle any service requests for minor interior and a couple exterior repairs/replacements.

Our salesperson was dishonest and unresponsive. He used high pressure tactics and forced us to close on an unfinished home (or lose our deposit). Workmanship for an executive home was abysmal. Follow up post sale was non existent with numerous unreturned calls. There has been a complete lack of coordination to get problems rectified. This company is all about moving units and quality is not even factored in.

Love the condo. Lennar should notify buyers they took away the crown molding, the shower bars, less ceiling lights. Communication on cut backs should be communicated.

Experience with work completion dates, delayed closing dates to quality of work has been sub par. Our independent realtor has been fantastic and guided us through the entire process based on prior experiences. We are in the warranty period with a number of issues needing to be addressed. The verdict is still out on this process.

The work on the punch list that we discussed on our walk through prior to closing were not completed as promised. I revisited 4 weeks later to find the disappointment. I understand that the build isn’t a custom home build but the issues should have been addressed

7 Months delayed, no proper progress updates during this time, incomplete things, did not provide what they told\showed me. Very un-professional dis-organized procedure was not expected from Lennar. Still trying to get things done with no timely response.

The overall “buying experience” was quick and easy, but the problems began as we neared our closing date. We purchased our home remotely, so we did not have the luxury of being on-site during the construction process. As the closing date neared, we soon realized the finish quality was extremely poor (after flying down for our walk-thru). It was clear the trim was installed before the tile floors, so it left 1/4” gaps in some places. The mitre cuts looked as if they were made by a “do-it-yourselfer”. From start to finish I was kept updated on details and always knew what to expect. Mark was great. Roberto our realtor was also great working in conjunction with Mark at Lennar. The punch list items are completed, some issues I had to keep reminding them about but overall they took care of me.

During my final walk- through inspection, I noted several items that needed taken care of and informed the Lennar builder representative of these requests (kitchen cabinets missing shelves, sloppy sheetrock mud and exterior paint already starting to peeling to name a few.) After being assured that these items would be corrected, I proceeded to sign my closing documents. The house was rushed to finish for closing so it was closed for end of quarter. Sloppy job on finishing touches. Still waiting for damaged kitchen cabinets to be replaced. No one will schedule the installation. Pool was not ready at closing.

The quality is okay. It’s what you expect from a large national builder. If they didn’t rush and paid attention to the construction up front, they could reduce or eliminate their warranty costs. There have been a lot of warranty work on our unit.

We bought a calusa. Multiple construction issues were addressed eventually but if built properly and there had been any quality oversight would never have been present when I purchased the house. Be very careful. There is no oversight on construction and things are rushed and poorly done. I am worried about what I did not find.

Love the home. The people that I have been in contact have been very nice. The people that have come in and done Repairs have been very professional and have done a nice job. However, I have been disappointed with the amount of things that have been needed for the home. Many missing items and many things that needed to be repaired. I have built two homes before this one and they only needed a fraction of the things that I have needed so far.
