It has been 45 days since closing and we have a 20 item punch list of construction issues that have not been resolved. For the money paid for the home, I thought I would have received a handle on the dishwasher and trash bins for the trash cabinet in the kitchen. But I guess those items are luxuries.

Where Lennar fails is communication. From the day I put my deposit down till I closed (which was about 10 months) I only heard from Lennar when they needed my money. As far as communication with me during the building process there was none..none at all. If I wanted any information I had to call. As far as after I moved in communication did not improve. I would E-mail for information and not hear anything thing back when I turned annoying I was then informed that yes, I received your E-mail but I'm waiting on information. So, no communication at all.

Lack of attention to detail and commitments

There was a lack of attention to detail nearly across the board with trade skills. Carpentry, electrical, you name it. Even landscaping. This house feels like it was rushed to be completed. It feels like everyone was more concerned with hitting a deadline versus quality. The quality check process is not sufficient. Promises made by construction manager were not always followed through on. Gave up trading pretty quickly. Overwhelmed or stretched too thin? Don’t know, but if I was to buy another new build I will have to think twice about Lennar.

Excited to be living in the Heritage Landing Community. It unfortunately took longer than anticipated as we waited 3 extra months to move into condo. I wish there was more communication from Lennar but we had to keep calling for any information which was frustrating. Once we closed on our home we did not receive any information on anything that came with home. There was no follow up on how we were doing or how they can help. I was very disappointed in their welcoming us to community of which there was none!! We had to go to sales office for keys and that was it! After settling in a bit ...

Really enjoy the Cypress model home that we purchased. Got a little crazy before closing. Just had to take a deep breath, get closed, and start working on punch list items. List has gotten pretty short after nearly 2 months with only some minor cosmetic items remaining. Construction manager has worked diligently to help us out.

Responsive but should've been done right in the first place

Lennar fixed whatever issues I had, but there was a LOT and much of the painting/drywall/finishing issues should have been properly completed in the first place!

Great Unit with a View ...and a punch list

Two months after closing the punch list is still 20+ items long. Sometimes a tradie stops by to fix a single blue tape flag but at a rate of 2 "fixes" a week this is going to take a long time to get the home I paid for in February. Nobody feels responsible and the field rep didn't call in the first place.

Builder is pushing out the work without any quality control. Sub contractors do poor work then they have to come back and repair causing more problems

I would not transfer any funds into escrow account until all the punch list is done. Once you transfer funds they will close on the property, by transferring funds you give them the right to close read your contract closely. there only goal is to meet the closing dates. Then anything that needs to be done goes into warranty work. They have been moving along on the list of things that need to be done most of that is from poor sub contractor work.

We are finishing building the house but getting little to no response from those engaged to repair

Would not be coerced into closing until house complete with just a few items to clear. We experienced no baseboard, no electric in areas, no glass in shower door, missing door handles. On and on. Too much pressure to get money in the bank for executives.

We purchased for our elderly parents so they could be close to a pool and work out area. From what i understand, the pool area will never be complete. How could you sell these condos to people expecting a life style they cannot live. Especially the elderly. The ring had to be replaced and now we find the back door does not lock so they leave it open. i am sure this will not get published.

Don’t expect much. Quick sale. Delayed completion then bullied into signing off with very short notice. Crooked walls horrible stucco job. Cheap construction. Now being out of state we are left to pick up the pieces. Since our on- line closing we have NEVER heard from our sales agent and offered no help. Shameful indeed

We were very happy with our 4 bedroom Lennar home in Trail’s Edge. So far so good. The seller agent Shawn was great and the construction manager Ryan was very responsive. The punch list was short which was excellent. We are comfortable if something comes up, customer care will work with us to resolve it. Overall very happy.

There is a lack of pride in workmanship and construction of my home that shows in every level. i feel like i have been robbed. buying a new home is supposed to be a happy once in a life time experience, instead i am spending every day trying to have too many things replace or repaired. on a positive note, the warranty department is excellent and is working hard to rectify all issues.

If you purchase in Babcock National from Lennar, DO NOT expect to move in within the first 60 days of closing - your residence will not be inhabitable! The worst part of the experience is the attitude of the construction manager and failure to communicate on resolution. INSIST ON THE WARRANTY DEPARTMENT TO BE AT YOUR WALKTHROUGH WITH AN IPAD TAKI G PHOTOGRAPHS OF ALL THE ISSUES. TEST EVERY APPLIANCE THOROUGHLY DURING YOUR CLOSING.

Lennar closes on properties way before they are ready. Many kitchen cabinets were damaged, drywall, painting and stucco was very sloppy, back lanai was never put on until a month after closing and half the electrical outlets don’t work. The list goes on. The repairs are being addressed fairly quickly but is a slow process as each repair is a different tradesperson. It appears to be a fairly well built home but the quality of their workmanship in their finished product is lacking.

Closing was delayed many times. Last time delay was the day before closing and being out of state we had no place to go. It seems once you had the money, we had wired full payment 2 weeks before closing, that's all you care about. Lennar Wanted documents signed when items were not complete, just trust them. Closed in February still have a check list of items not completed. Amenities still not complete but HOA fees are still collected.

After a delay of about four months we got close to closing and there was another 10 day delay. but we were still haunted about monies and paperwork for closing. Then when closing was actually imminent we had our walk through, After much follow up and nagging the punch list was promised to be completed before the closing. It wasn't and we had to resort to other means to make the unit move in ready. After all that we still didn't have hot water for 2 weeks. Lennar is still out of control
