Clearly lennar is trying to crank out as many homes as possible as quickly as possible. These homes are budget built with premium price tags

Did I purchase a pre owned home?

It has been one headache after the next. I THOUGHT owning a new home would be a dream and maybe because we have never have owned a new home our expectations were set to High. Everything from broken door locks, marred closet doors, scratches on most of the windows, and a kitchen range that doesn't work. We do have a wonderful associate we deal with and she is wonderful. Keeps us informed and very knowledgeable on how to get things done. That being said the house shouldn't have been given to us in this condition.

Overall bang for buck not bad, but you need to know what you are buying. Quality of trades, materials and craftsmanship is not good. Construction management is non existent.

The work on the punch list that we discussed on our walk through prior to closing were not completed as promised. I revisited 4 weeks later to find the disappointment. I understand that the build isn’t a custom home build but the issues should have been addressed

We really love the area that we are in. Sure we wish some of items of the community were different. The communication with the sales rep was ok. I never heard from him on the closing day or after. Not even a check in to make sure everything was good. The New Home Orientation seemed to be a pretty decent list before we closed on the house. It has been two and a half months since closing and we are still waiting on some of those items to be fixed.

We're so happy to have a new property, but the experience was not as expected. With no options offered to upgrade anything, everything is really "builder grade" finishings. Communication during the pre/closing time was not acceptable, nor was the early efforts to address the many punch list (pre-closing findings) and post closing warranty items. If we're in the market for another property, while we may consider another Lennar property, we'd strongly consider a different builder. With Lennar, you have to be focused and unrelenting in what needs to be addressed.

Very disappointed with Lennar and their ability to call back or even acknowledge emails/phone calls/texts. Also with whom they use for the HOA at this time. The construction manager however was very pleasant and forthcoming.

Contractors are terrible. House was a complete disaster zone during building with no help from construction manager. I spent 2 hours every weekend for 3 months cleaning the inside from the workers. My back yard looks like crap and I been in the house 4

Lennar profits depend on mass production of homes. Improvement can be made by staffing the on site construction mgr. positions. This will ensure a higher quality product (home) with less issues that homeowners request to fix in the first year. Labor contractors standards of quality are much lower than what the Lennar executives expect. To maintain Lennar idea of quality home and reputation of customer service, there needs to be more inspection, rapid response to issues, and observation of labor contractors. The Warrenty Mgr. tries to resolve issues, yet is too overwhelmed. Need more support ...

Arthur our real estate agent was very helpful and easy to work with. That is the only thing that went well. They rushed to close and get their money at the end of their fiscal year and the finishing work was of poor quality. I am still dealing with the punch list over 9 weeks later. I don't think you could have cheaper appliances. We have spent several hours fixing things ourselves because we were getting tired of waiting for someone to come and do it. This was supposed to be a new home which I would expect to be turn key with maybe a couple of small things but that wasn't the case. ...

THIS IS MY THIRD CONDO AT BABCOCK NATIONAL. I SHOULD HAVE LEARNED FROM THE FIRST CONDO EXPERIENCE NOT TO PURCHASE A SECOND ONE. MY THOUGHT WAS TO GIVE LENNAR A SECOND CHANCE WHICH I DID. THE EXPERIENCE WAS A LITTLE BETTER BUT STILL DISMAL. THE THIRD IS BACK TO THE FIRST, VERY BAD, THE WORKMANSHIP IS TERRIBLE AND THE CONSTRUCTION MANAGERS ARE TOO BUSY PUSHING OUT NEW PRODUCT RATHER THAN TAKING CARE OF THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE ALREADY CLOSED ON THEIR UNITS. NO MORE LENNAR FOR ME.

The house was rushed to finish for closing so it was closed for end of quarter. Sloppy job on finishing touches. Still waiting for damaged kitchen cabinets to be replaced. No one will schedule the installation. Pool was not ready at closing.

Loan officers are terrible if I was to do it again I'd use an outside mortgage company. Also don't use there insurance for flood and homeowners you'll get ripped off.I regards to length of construction time that went well . Addressing my punchlist items that went well.

I purchased Lennar’s most prestigious home available in Babcock National. I got the same refrigerator and countertops that are in the condos that cost 1/3 of what my home cost. My upgraded cabinets have to be replaced because of a manufacturing defect. Quality of workmanship is extremely low because the contractors have to rush through every home. Think twice before buying from Lennar.

Not the best experience…

For starters, their system for purchasing homes through a bidding process seems very greedy. At one pint they let us know of a home model we wanted but wanted us to offer more for it. Their policy was that the highest bidder won the home. It very much appeared we were the highest bidder but they wanted us to bid more, and then turned us down when we wouldn’t. They did this under the guise of forcing us to close on another home we made an offer in sooner (20 days)-in which the sales rep told us they had allowed others to swap homes if another model came out for bid. He made it seem like we’d ...

Corners were cut in terms of building materials, electrical wiring incorrectly completed, low quality lighting & plumbing fixtures, lowest quality paint inside & out, low quality toilets seats, receptacle covers, lack of gutters around home, poor concrete finishing work on sidewalk, pavers chipped, pitted and scratched front door, kitchen cabinets not hung correctly, kitchen trim falling off, dirty HVAC unit, no real follow up from Lennar salesman other than the absolute necessary responses, landscaping bushes beat up, lack of exterior electrical receptacles, no garage floor drain or water, ...

The sales office was below average at best. I had to constantly chase sales for status updates and information. Was supposed to close on April 1st. Finally closed on May 31st which was very inconvenient for us. It was apparent the closing was rushed and the unit was nowhere close to being ready. Bo, the construction manager, was excellent. Very responsive and helpful in getting repairs completed as promised. Overall experience was a 2 on a scale of 1-5. This is our 3rd property in BN. Had a similar experience with the first 2. Rush to close to prop up their earnings for the quarter. ...

Closing was pushed four times due to labor and material shortages which is understandable but they were only concerned about their ability to close on their schedule and had little or no concern for our schedules as we were flying in from out of town to do the final walk through and close We spent lots of time and money changing flight and hotel and rental car plans. I would not buy. a other Lennar home due to this experience. No options for anything. We are building our new home in Babcock ranch with another builder
