Not built to quality they portray in model homes.

Not built to the quality that they showcase in the model homes. The contractors that build for Lennar have no sense of ownership to maintain a quality product. So much money is wasted by senseless mistakes and timing of the building process.

All of my neighbors are experiencing the same process - Lennar rushes the process to close on the sale of the home, so they can collect their funds, but then is not there with a team to address the open punchlist items post close. I have about 20 items that need addressed - from no shelves in our pantry to significant issues. The 2 significant items: 1) I have an irrigation issue that consumed 87k gallons of water in 30 days (thats not a typo). My system continued to average 3k gallons of water a day after the first 30 days. My yard was totally saturated, and my grass was dead. No one ...

We are very disappointed in the quality of workmanship and the quality of materials and appliances used. We moved in six weeks ago and have had dozens of issues with defective appliances, broken items, missing mirrors, cabinets & other items. The response time has been very bad and we feel like we have been forgotten

Workmanship in every aspect poor quality. Poor response to the issues of the house before closing and after. Damage appliances were place in the house which Lennar has not taken care of. Exterior damage to appliances Frigidaire will not cover under the warranty

The only bright spot to my experience was my sales person Shawn, other than that my experience was awful. From Lenoir mortgage to the closing process to the inspection process to being forced to close without the home being completely done and still living with a huge punchlist. I will never buy from Lennar again I am also in our stockholder, and will be liquidating my stocks in the very near future. Very disappointed.

1. Lennar Mortgage - easy to deal with, competent mortgage officer. 2. Lennar Title - titled our unit to 3 other buyers who actually purchased other units. Seems someone didn't change the unit number when preparing the titles. When we went to the tax collector's office we found out about the title issue. This prevented us from applying for our homestead exemption until it was corrected. Luckily the Lennar Title was fixed just in time. 3. Lennar sold our mortgage within 3 weeks of moving in. Our mortgage included a buy down, which was an incentive, so we would use Lennar mortgage. The buy down ...

As a retired building/remodeling contractor from New England, I was shocked at the poor quality of workmanship and construction oversight that went into this building. Construction flaws and short cuts were only discovered following hurricane damage that never should have happened if a better quality roof vent had been used. Because a large section of my living room ceiling fell after the insulation above was soaked due to rain pouring into these vents, I was able to see just how poorly this place was constructed. Many delays. The day of closing so many items were not finished. Was asked to sign a document that they had a final inspection but they couldn't provide a Ceretificate of Occupancy. The quality of workmanship is far below construction standards, especially for the money they are sellling these units. Punchlist was over 30 items and 2 months after closiing no attempt has been made to address them. Had to complete some of them myself in order to make the unit livable.

We just purchased April 2020 and sold April 2022 a new build Lennar townhome in Prior Lake, MN, that experience was great. The attention to detail, commitment to follow here in Punta Gorda, FL is horrible. I booked a flight and the Lennar team was completely aware that I was flying down for a scheduled walk thru August 22 so we could close by the end of August. The Build, Project Management and Accountability was Horrible.

Sales and Title was great but the build was not and turnover of the home was horrible.. Had I not personally been involved and physically called vendors over to my house I would not have closed on my Closing Date. Project management and Customer Service from the Project Management team was horrible.

Terrible experience. Forced to close before property was completed. Still have many issues with quality of workmanship. We encountered poor communication all the way around during the closing process. The closing coordinator scheduled a “walk-through”, and scheduled it for the wrong time/date. We arrived as told to, and there was no-one there. The follow up was absolutely horrid. The home was NOT ready to close. We encountered plumbing issues, walls were unfinished, blue tape was everywhere, broken tiles, master shower was not finished (no shower doors), the kitchen counter is still uneven, broken window screen, lanai door would not close/lock. The overall experience is not what I expected. There were and still are many issues with our home. We closed 11/30 and still have not fully moved in due to outstanding issues such as air conditioner not running properly. Windows have issues and can’t close and can’t lock some of them. Lots of small issues that have been taken care of but just the overall time and effort it took to get the problems fixed was exhausting. Be prepared to accept an unfinished home. I closed 7 weeks ago and have white raw drywall mud all over my walls, a horribly stained pool, nothing covering the attic openings, broken exterior trim, unpainted sections of exterior walls, etc. All with no hope that it will ever get completed. This is my third new Lennar home in 6 years, and I am still stunned that I live in such an incomplete house.

Lennar rushed us to close at the end of the month but the house was not ready. I gave 1 star on craftmanship because we have so many issues. Tiles are not level, trim work is poor, lumps under carpet, upstairs floor uneven, just to name a few issues.

We are not first time home buyers and we did our due diligence to make sure we were pursuing the best possible purchase available to us, but Lennar made the experience so horrible that we will never purchase another property through them again.
