Terrible experience. Forced to close before property was completed. Still have many issues with quality of workmanship. Unsure of security of property with supposed open membership to non-owners for amenities. Review already submitted with same horrendous experience to Lennar. No response received.

Closing process was terrible

We encountered poor communication all the way around during the closing process. The closing coordinator scheduled a “walk-through”, and scheduled it for the wrong time/date. We arrived as told to, and there was no-one there. The follow up was absolutely horrid. The home was NOT ready to close. We encountered plumbing issues, walls were unfinished, blue tape was everywhere, broken tiles, master shower was not finished (no shower doors), the kitchen counter is still uneven, broken window screen, lanai door would not close/lock. Lennar is is no way, shape, or form Customer Friendly. No choices or changes at all. "This is what you get and forget about making or requesting even the slightest change". No communication or updates forthcoming from the Lennar reps. Delay after Delay and no real concern or care on their part.

The overall experience is not what I expected. There were and still are many issues with our home. We closed 11/30 and still have not fully moved in due to outstanding issues such as air conditioner not running properly. Windows have issues and can’t close and can’t lock some of them. Lots of small issues that have been taken care of but just the overall time and effort it took to get the problems fixed was exhausting. Sprinklers have a leak which is causing us to use over 2000 gallons of water a day which is going to give us an extremely expensive water bill. Construction manager has done ...

They delivered the house unfinished and many items are still not complete with no timetable to finish.

Be prepared to accept an unfinished home. I closed 7 weeks ago and have white raw drywall mud all over my walls, a horribly stained pool, nothing covering the attic openings, broken exterior trim, unpainted sections of exterior walls, etc. All with no hope that it will ever get completed. This is my third new Lennar home in 6 years, and I am still stunned that I live in such an incomplete house.

Lennar - Lennar rushed us to close at the end of the month but the house

Lennar rushed us to close at the end of the month but the house was not ready. I gave 1 star on craftmanship because we have so many issues. Tiles are not level, trim work is poor, lumps under carpet, upstairs floor uneven, just to name a few issues.

We are not first time home buyers and we did our due diligence to make sure we were pursuing the best possible purchase available to us, but Lennar made the experience so horrible that we will never purchase another property through them again. Our understanding is that the laws in Florida allow for unethical, shady business practices by builders, where the sales and mortgage teams essentially lie and overpromise to the buyer to quickly lock in the sale and then once the truth of the details are established there is no option to cancel the contract and get the escrow funds back. This house was not ready for occupancy. Still dealing several issues. Lennar construction is the sloppiest workmanship we’ve ever encountered. We expected more for the money.

My buying experience was horrible, from the moment I signed the contract and paid my down payment. My sales person did nothing to earn his fee. No one even met me at my home to hand me my keys. I was told they were in a drawer. When I arrived, the house was filthy; there was even a dishwasher in the great room. I have over 40 issues needing warranty work. The workmanship was deplorable. I am shocked that Lennar would let such a product carry its name. The mortgage company was also sub par. I couldn't get people to respond to me, and it took several attempts to get every issue ...

If you purchase in Babcock National from Lennar, DO NOT expect to move in within the first 60 days of closing - your residence will not be inhabitable! The worst part of the experience is the attitude of the construction manager and failure to communicate on resolution. INSIST ON THE WARRANTY DEPARTMENT TO BE AT YOUR WALKTHROUGH WITH AN IPAD TAKI G PHOTOGRAPHS OF ALL THE ISSUES. TEST EVERY APPLIANCE THOROUGHLY DURING YOUR CLOSING.

Communication is terrible! Condo was not completed on time. Multiple issues. Still waiting on kitchen cabinet hardware almost 2 months after close. Shower door is not what was shown to us in the model. It was installed one month after closing and it was a a cheap replacement. That issue is still on going. We were told we would receive a $2600 rebate for these issues and it still is not resolved i.e. check issued.

This is my third Lennar home and by far the worst experience I have had purchasing a new home. I closed six weeks ago and there are a few items that aren't even complete yet, and many repairs that need to be made, I flew into town for my walk through, and noone showed up until I flagged down one of the sales guys. Very disappointed.

I am trying to give Lennar a good rating but every time I think the warranty service is improving and ready to do their job I am let down. Contractors that are sent to fix a problem do not show up or do half the job. I am lied by the different suppliers all the time. I will give you one of many examples. Defective glass sliding doors. I put in a service request and several weeks later your provider partner calls and makes an appointment for July the thirteenth to replace the doors. Drywall work is some of the worst I’ve seen. I will have to do the repairs myself. The repairs Lennar had done are crap at best. As bad as the drywall is the painting and caulking is way worse. It took two months to get our mailbox keys. My wife called to get answers and was yelled at. This box isn’t big enough for all our complaints.

Lennar builds so cheap, finishing work absolutely horrible, rush to close to make there quarter. Not even the faucets are strait... on the other side, they have some good people that respond and work hard with their limited resources. Fantastic property, amenities and neighbors!

Don't believe any closing dates or promises made that are not in writing. I understand the supply chain and labor issues but this sale, closing and quality of product received was the worst home buying experience that I've ever had and I've had more than a few.
