1. The mortgage interest rate offered when I was ready to lock in was almost 7 tenths of a percent higher than the national a average. I was compelled to shop with another bank in the 11th hour. This was then used as a tool to negotiate the rate below the national average. I thought keeping the title services and financing under Lennar's domain would be worth a slight premium, but they swung for a greedy outcome. 2. The Closing process was completed in last minute style. A.Materials and labor shortages were certainly an ongoing problem nationally, and our new build had numerous milestones to complete with one week prior to closing. Since Lennar is publicly traded there appeared to be intense pressure among its staff to close our property and benefit their 10Q filing. Here it is nearly two months after closing and numerous punch list items remain uncompleted. Craftsmanship was rushed. B. The actual closing date to sign all the documents remotely was a extremely stressful. I supposed to receive instructions a day head. From the first moment we met Dan at the Lennar office, he was engaging, helpful, and thorough. He answered all of our questions and kept us up to date on the progress of our new home. He remained involved and steadfast until the very day of our closing.

No out of state home buying experience is easy. We purchased this home site unseen. It worked out for us due to the trustworthiness of our salesmen. Mark provided regular honest updates. So far Lennar has been responsive with warranty issues and have followed up. I would definitely recommend this builder to my friends and family!

Our house is incomplete and has many workmanships problems. Very poor quality, Tiles needing to be replaced, Cupboard doors and drawers missing, Lennar took ours and gave them to someone else. Been here going on 2 months still no drawers or doors. I would not buy another Lennar home. Quality of material is cheap and needing to stay home daily so people can come to fix things. Construction manager never calls with updates on anything, doesn't even answer his phone. Lennar is good at selling homes, but they are pathetic on building houses. I have given you the marks that you deserve and wish we would not have bought a Lennar home. I would and will tell others to avoid any Lennar built homes and pictures of everything that was and mostly still is wrong and will share them with anyone that was interested in seeing them. I asked to be contacted by someone from corporate not in this little loop in Florida and they also have no time for me. Don't buy a Lennar home unless you want FRUSTRATION. By the way we have a cracked door on our pantry from the screws in it. They will not replace the door they are going to fix it I was told. I know writing this I will get no answers from Lennar. The electrical work was, I guess, compliant with the mandatory electrical codes. But, not by much! The work was pretty minimal, was rushed, and of minimal quality and competence. I do t know where Lennar gets these sub-contractors from, but it’s not anything they can or should brag about!

We closed on the house and still had 20 items that need repair! Hopefully all items will be repaired within the 1 year warranty!

First, the villa was four months late. That's not unusual during the pandemic, but the fact that none of the people who said they were in charge were willing to lift an estimate of completion until after it had passed. And all said they were the person to go to with a question, until you went to them with a question. The house was finally completed, and we've moved in. The house appears sound, although the cheapness of amenities is evident, starting with the low-level appliances and the poorly managed cabinetry. Also, subcontractor work on the irrigation system caused an emergency call to the plumber. And the floor tile, while appearing sound, chipped immediately when a dolly bearing furniture was wheeled in through the garage. Also, the recommended cable provider cannot be recommended, and the HOA managers are already clearly clueless. We'll make it work, of course, but right now the experience is certainly not worth the money. A week prior to close out the mortgage agent lack of knowledge brought aggressiveness, anger, inconvenient and tears.

2 months In and still have multiple punchoutnissues

The title company and loan portion of Lennar were better.

Great experience with Terrance keeping me up to date on the completion date. Construction Manager useless everything he said he would fix before closing was not even touched (walk through was 5 days before closing). Place was not clean construction post and permit box left on front lawn, 5 gallon bucket of joint compound left in garage pieces of concrete left all over the place. It was not a great first look when pulling up to a new home. The reason I only gave trust worthiness a 1 is Actions or lack of action by your construction manager.

Cannot opt out of very cheap appliances. Had to get rid of appliances before installing up graded appliances. Can’t make any changes, not even to add an electrical outlet.

Many variances from house to house. Initial finishing work not to standard. Punch list process is confusing and not very efficient. The bones of the house are great. It's taken over 40 days to get the needed corrections taken care of.

When I'm told something is going to happen by the job supervisor and then make excuses that it is not happening on that date. BE HONEST HONEST HONEST.

Sales associate was great! Overall, the experience has been positive. I am disappointed in the cheap model dishwasher. The other appliances are quality. The warranty service has been very responsive.

People are nice, but poor quality workmanship and cheap materials.

Lennar made it easy there target date was right on time.

Once we gave the final deposit, We could not reach our Lennar person, Alisa. Even on our closing, she was not at the condo to give us the keys as was stated to us. When I reached out, she said they had a new closing team and she was not informed. She never even stopped by the condo to apologize and wish us luck. The gentleman who did receive us was Arthur. Nothing but a salesman!! By that I mean he could have cared less about us. The sale was done and he could have cared less about what we said or how we felt. My wife and I both worked in retail and NEVER would have mistreated a customer as we have been. We are not people who want to complain, but what is right is right and wrong is wrong. ... More

The lack of quality workmanship was appalling. There was garbage in our house on move in. There were (and still remain after 2 month) many many issues with the house. The extreme lack of professionalism of both the sales and construction manager. No communication and lack of integrity in many interactions. I can not recommend lenar to others.

I was disappointed in mortgage! Many issues still remain unresolved like no payment of home insurance resulting in cancellation of policy!

Lennar is a large impersonal company. Information flows downhill from above and it appears to me that most employees are afraid to act on behalf of the customer because they are afraid of making waves. This is my second Lennar house in 3 years and I have experienced this phenomenon repeatedly. Also, they are VERY slow to respond to service issues, especially if you are misguided enough, as I was, to close before the house was actually complete. Once they have your money, they are even more unresponsive. Be aware the Lennar is nothing more than a "tract" builder who is always trying to cut costs. This second home, for example, was built with much cheaper materials than the one from a couple years ago, despite the fact that the new home was supposedly a level above the last one. Lennar builds a half way decent house, but don't expect to be buying anything like a custom house, despite the inflated pricing. ... More

I love Lennar's house. Beautiful and comfortable, the best home I have ever had since immigrating to the US for 10 years.

The entire process was great after we got past the bidding process Jeremy (sales person) was fantastic and everything went smoothly
