We bought our house in end of August 2022, still some things are unfinished. Hard to reach general contractor, hard to reach association. We are really disappointed.

I regret purchasing a home built by Lennar. From the start, the quality of work has been subpar—sloppy finishes, poorly installed fixtures, and noticeable shortcuts in construction. It’s clear that attention to detail was not a priority. Trying to get repairs done has been a nightmare. I’ve contacted their team multiple times, and either get no response or I’m passed from one person to another with no resolution. After the contract is signed and the first deposit is made Lennar's customer relations is poor. Every question was basically answered with the same response, "You signed the contract and there are absolutely no changes allowed by Lennar." For over 1 month I visited the construction site weekly and little of nothing was done. Materials sat in the home and yard but little work was accomplished. Terrible is all I can say. Being lied to is another reason not to buy a new home from Lennar.

Paid cash. Money had to be paid prior to closing. Which was prior to walk through. On Walk through house had a ton of problems and issues and was not even completed. Never had a second walk through which in New York is unheard of to fix all the problems. Morning I closed not one issue on walk through list was addressed and the house still was not finished. Our salesperson was dishonest and unresponsive. He used high pressure tactics and forced us to close on an unfinished home (or lose our deposit). Workmanship for an executive home was abysmal. Follow up post sale was non existent with numerous unreturned calls. There has been a complete lack of coordination to get problems rectified. This company is all about moving units and quality is not even factored in.

To say we are disappointed is an understatement. The craftsmanship and quality of work are subpar to say the least. External doors installed incorrectly, closet doors damaged or not even installed, bed and bath doors hung wrong. The drywall and paint were just slapped up with no attention to detail. Windows installed, but don't actually lock. The QC team marked things to be fixed, but they never were, nor was the house/floors cleaned prior to us closing. If we could give them 0 out of 5, we would.

Lennar has been a nightmare from day one. I was threatened with taking my retirement to a large fine if I didn't close when Lennar wanted to close. On the day of closing Lennar was not ready and the unit was certainly not completed. I closed on Dec 5, 2022 and as of today Jan 25,2023 I still cannot move my belongings in because the doors and windows still will not lock/open. I have contacted and have been promised by many of Lennar people and still no resolution. I have had to pay an additional $1000 for storage because I cannot move in my condo. From sales to closing an absolute HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Our sales person Matt was MIA most of the time. Our house was not ready for closing but expected us to close anyway. All screens were bent, painting and caulking was horrific. We have a mice problem, front doors don't lock. garage door dented. Because we sold our other home they had us over a barrel cuz we needed to move in. The house was dirty. Their follow up in every department was atrocious and still is. When we came down to Florida.to see our home for the first time it was a pig sty. None of my appliances were hooked up. Had no Primary shower enclosure & still don’t have one after 2 1/2 months . For me Lennar does an awful job of building these homes & I am not the only one in our Villas at Bicayne Landings Fl. Workmanship is is absolutely terrible. Takes forever to get Lennar to fix anything in our Villa hence the shower enclosure Lennar just seems like they don’t care. Would not recommend them to build your home.

Our house is incomplete and has many workmanships problems. Very poor quality, Tiles needing to be replaced, Cupboard doors and drawers missing, Lennar took ours and gave them to someone else. Been here going on 2 months still no drawers or doors. I would not buy another Lennar home. Quality of material is cheap and needing to stay home daily so people can come to fix things. The lack of quality workmanship was appalling. There was garbage in our house on move in. There were (and still remain after 2 month) many many issues with the house. The extreme lack of professionalism of both the sales and construction manager. No communication and lack of integrity in many interactions. I can not recommend lenar to others.
