On a 2021 visit with our daughter who lives in Cape Coral we noticed Heritage Landing, We stopped and picked up some information but there wasn't much to see. We began to get updates from the Lennar sales people and on future visits we toured some of the homes. We also sought information on Lennar homes in other area locations and for the past 2 years we became more serious about relocating and visited a lot of homes in other communities with a realtor. In June of this year we were at our granddaughter's baby shower and dropped by Heritage Manor to look at Lennar's advertised closeout homes ...

My biggest problem is with the shifting of closing costs to the buyer. As a real estate attorney in Illinois I am not used to everything being shifted to the buyer and so many "made up" costs like the builders' fee. Isn't the builders fee the price of the house?

First of all we songs the house to ourselves. Wen they wanted something we had to jump but when asked yo provide for our needs, crickets. On closing day they rushed us. Shame on me as the house was not ready. The quality of some of the workmanship was shabby. I had a fire alarm just hanging, I fixed it myself. Also a kitchen drawer was messed up and didn't close right, I fixed it myself. Was told they were going to fix other areas but didn't. Salespeople were great. Quality of materials, cabinets, appliances, and workmanship are just ok to sub par. Had several minor issues which can be expected but the time for a response and lack of communication with customer care made resolution process very painful. After the replacement of the original customer care rep., the process went much smoother. 2.5 stars would a more accurate rating.

Our realtor Tommy was amazing from start to finish. Any question we had was answered very quickly! The home we bought is beautiful. We had an inspection and the comment was this is one of the nicest new builds he had ever seen. The process for the loan was also outstanding. Plus the follow up for any issues quick and efficient. Highly recommend the Lennar team!

Sales - good Closing - average at best Walk through - nothing done between walkthrough and closing. And then they tried to send me to the Warranty team to input more than 15 issues. None of them were terribly hard…they just weren’t completed at anll. It wasn’t until I had to find the correct person, Bo that something got done. Thankfully Bo took care of the customer and without his intervention the experience could have been worse.

Firstly, let me say dealing with the team at the community of Willow was a pleasant smooth and easy process. Starting with Nicole, who made the purchase quite easy and relaxed. Dealing with David and his team to obtain my mortgage was great. Finally working with Kim in the title office was stress-free. Overall, it has been a wonderful experience, and I have recommended Lennar to colleagues and family. Even so my sister is buying a place at one of Lennar‘s other communities.

I was very disappointed in the service. The contact before closing did not listen to anything intolerant him. Half the item we discussed in the walk through never made it to his list. He closed all of them, and never did anything We did have a paint come out, we left, and came back and he was sleeping on our lania.

Home buying experience was electronic. So it was easy. Was supposed to have an orientation and celebration. All we got was an envelope INSIDE of our home with a letter. Many questions about the house that we had to seek out answers. Workmanship is sloppy, gaps between tiles and floors . Paint is CHEAP! Washes off when cleaning. Paint on areas that should not be painted . Concrete on pool tiles , cement on areas that should have been cleaned. Sunken tiles by the spa. NO TOWEL BARS, just TP HOLDERS. Design in bathroom is plain. Could have made it better by providing a place to put shampoo etc ...

I guess the biggest thing is the only objective is to get the money from your buyer. Afterwards, it’s you are On your own. But, with all the HOA’s, water, gas, electric, etc. buyers could greatly use the benefit of a helping hand. Also, warranties, what we need to do who to call, connectivity issues in the house, all this can be overwhelming!!!

Where do I start? From being misled by the realtor to the poor workmanship in my home, the experience with Lennar has been nothing short of disappointing. The issues didn’t stop at closing—getting warranty work addressed has been a constant battle, with delays, lack of communication, and unresolved problems. I expected better from a national builder, but I’ve learned the hard way. I will never buy another home from Lennar, and I’d strongly caution others to think twice before doing so.

These homes are basically mass produced…. Almost assembly line. Above average quality, and like the fact that change orders not allowed. Appliances decent quality, pool and Lanai/ lanai cage are very good. Understand that home will not come with ceiling fans, smart switches or extra light fixtures. I would advise buyers to review MODEL home CLOSELY as that’s what you get…no differences. For example, only some kitchen cabinets had under cabinet lighting, junction boxes for hanging lights over kitchen island were not even close on position over island. We previously had a Lennar home and welcomed another! Erik in sales is a Rockstar! Knowledgeable, personable, experienced just an all around great person. We went thru 6 other builders here in Babcock and he is light-years ahead of all of them. Joshua our customer relations - after-build, is exceptional. Knowledgeable and helped us navigate our new home, he was effective and expedited our punch list! From start to finish we couldn't be happier!
