Sales and closing were excellent. Upon delivery of home the product was better than I expected. The only exception was the cleaning of the property. I did not expect to spend so much time on preparing the property to move in. Due to low paint quality I hired professionals to repaint the entire home, most people due the same. I also had to hire a professional company to clean the floor tile, this was unexpected.

The overall experience went well but BEWARE when doing your pre close walk through. You will be promised that your list of things will all be taken care of. Well, eight weeks AFTER our walk through we still have numerous issues that have not been addressed (a few that are pretty major). You must stay on top of the complaint department but they are terrible at following up with you and keeping you updated. Very frustrating.

We were told we had to close, did not have Certificate of Occupancy. At final walk through only 80% of the work was completed. 3 months later we are still waiting on ‘blue tape’ items to be finished.

Buying a home from Lennar is like buying and RV. Once you buy it your salesperson drops you like a bad habit. Arthur our salesperson won't call or email you back and then when asked about he states he tried but I wouldn't return his call. which is a bold face lie. Chris the construction person was supposed to get back with me in a couple of day about an issue. It has been over two weeks. So in conclusion , If Lennar folks can't honor their word what good are they? I mean after all how much effort does it take to respond to a buyers Issue? It speaks to the culture at Lennar where ...

Our purchase experience with Nate was very good. He was very attentive, personable and responsive. The lack of choice in materials selection was an issue. We found multiple metals used for fixtures rather than just one, i.e. mixture of brushed nickel and chrome versus just one. Examples of poor workmanship are everywhere. They used caulk to keep pavers in place on front stoop versus using cement. Painters are sloppy. Light fixtures weren’t reinstalled after painting. Numerous holes exist in installed sod lawn. A 1500-unit development with no onsite sales manager. Sales department was not organized on what is going on with the development. Construction personal are drive by superintendents, that let the subcontractors do what they want without supervision or direction. Lennar's in field creed is to pass all mistakes onto the service department. Building wasn't finished during walk through or closing. Hats off to Maria Vasquaz of the service department to finish off the buildings and do it efficiently and make many homeowners happy.

We felt a lot of pressure to close our home even though it wasn't ready. We should have been able to wait to inspect the home then have another week before closing for items to be repaired. We were promised items on our punch list would be completed prior to our arrival a month after closing but they were not done.

Too many bad examples of poor customer experience to list. Our Landscaping is a joke, The warranty system is awful to work with. I would not buy another home from Lennar if they gave it to me.

Start with the understanding Lennar is a production builder and you are not buying or paying for a one-off custom home and expectations will be reached . The overall experience was greater than my expectations and I was happy for the cost/value received . The small warranty issues have been quickly addressed.

We bought the model home and it was listed with a pool heater for hot tub and pool. No heater! It’s been two months since we closed. No garage door openers, ceiling fan and light and living room still doesn’t work! Stove good has lights falling out, landscape is old dirty and dying, this is not acceptable. Unhappy customer for sure!
