The Lennar home buying experience went well except for one thing. I had an unexpected medical issue and asked for an extension on the closing date. Lennar denied it and it almost cost me the home.

Our overall experience was very good, there were some issues that were not appropriately resolved without a struggle and that is unfortunate. We really had to work hard to get Lennar to do the right thing with some Warranty repairs.

We were pleased with the whole closing process - nothing too difficult. As we were moving in, little things needed attention. Refrigerator water line was not hooked up. After a few days, it was taken care of. The dishwasher rinse box was cracked and needed to be replaced. That was taken care of within a few days after the second repairman took care of it. Our first week here, we inquired about garbage cans and recycling bins. That still has not been resolved 3 weeks after asking for help. Our garage door opener was dangling. After walk thru and sign off, part of driveway was removed and replaced, cement was very dark gray, was told it would lighten as it cured, 2 months later, lightened a little but looks terrible, also at walk walk thru noticed a lot of ants, it got worse every day, purchased a lot of products, and contracted pest control company , reported to Lennar several times, asked for assistance for a few weeks while unoccupied, I was brushed off, now after a few months noticing a lot of little issues, stains and paint on carpet and tiles, windows dirty, etc etc, just not move in ready in my opinion.

I had money coming back that I desperately needed instead im in my new home struggling. I was told up to the day I closed I was getting money back...instead I had tor fork out money. IT is sad that I had fork out money after being told I was fine and that I would get My deposit at closing....now I'm behind on everything and just moving in. I barely got my lights on in my name. We closed on our Lennar house on July 10, 2025. Our Lennar sales guy was great! We feel like we got a good house with a great view for a great price!…..however, after closing, we noticed many shortcomings in the quality of our home. All the walls were painted with a cheap commercial grade paint, so plan on painting ALL your walls. Lennar doesn’t furnish toilet paper holders, towel bars etc! They also don’t install gutters along the back or sides of your house, only the front! Within 6 weeks of closing, we’ve already have a roof leak. When I request anything from Lennar, they are very responsive. When requesting something from third parties, like Edmonson, they are not as responsive. This was a first time contacting Edmonson, so they get a mulligan. But when you leave a message and a call back number, and no one calls back, that's a problem.

Buying and financing was great. We have numerous problems since moving in. The biggest issue i have is the QA inspections. It was obvious that we were lied to by chris. Our dryer could not have ever been checked, because it was not connected to the breaker box correctly. We were told it passed 2 inspections. HOW. All of our issues have been corrected to date. This was our first new home purchased. I guess our expectations were too high. Lennar boasts all inclusive, yes. But all appliances are low end.

The buying experience was easy. We got the floorplan we wanted at a great price. We found issues, but our customer rep handled everything and all were resolved. The biggest issue is the shoddy work by the electrical contractor. Boxes are poorly fitted in the walls, plugs wont fit in switches, and they stick out from the sheetrock at angles so the plates stick out from the walls. We have been trying to adjust them as we paint.

Lennar provided a large home for a reasonable price. build quality and materials were good. Repair and warranty process moving forward reasonably well. New home doesnt have much for storage, closets, or bathroom amenities like toilet paper holders and towel racks. Happy with the home for the most part.

Sometimes I have to remember that I’m buying a track home and not a custom home. It’s a one size fits all types of situation when buying a house from Lennar so the custom touches are not there and yes, you do get items that don’t meet your expectations, but that’s what you’re buying also as far as warranty issues I could not be happier with Gabe from the #Warranty department. He has been on top of everything and very informative and making sure everything gets done to meet our expectations and works to get it done. Lennar should be happy to him on their team as I am

Overall pleased with the experience and closing on time, actually a week early. Believe we have excellent value for our purchase price even though our buy was near peak of market. Lennar construction rep, Dalton, was great in showing us use of home and maintenance rewuirements at closing. Only down side has been A) a few quality/workmanship issues which they have begun fixing buy ideally should have been corrected before closing, and B) many of the amenities that were supposed to be open prior to Christmas are still a couple months away.

The overall experience was good as compared to the cost - you get what you pay for. Lennar needs to pay attention to detail and not expect the homeowner to bring issue forward. The lot we wanted wasn't released but after we chose another lot, the original became available. Closing date was moved up by 6 wks from original estimate, had to jump through hoops. We had a virtual closing which went fine and final walk through had to be done by a friend that lives in Florida as we closed between the two hurricanes and couldn’t get there. I was very disappointed with the amount of paint splattered on floors and caulking smeared on bathroom floors. It wasn’t as clean as the Lennar house I purchased in 2016. Sales: Bobbi, the sales agent I worked with was excellent and knowledgable. Warranty: Heather and the virtual warranty team seem to be proactive with reported items, although several that were reported over the last two months don't have appointments scheduled and other trades scheduled their appoinments quickly. Some warranty repairs were not made properly, very disappointing. Lennar needs to hire another pool company to make the warranty repairs and charge back to Holiday Pools since they aren't interested in repairing my pool/spa issues.

Overall we had a great buying experience with Lennar. We did go through a less than attentive sales person early in the process, but that was resolved by the regional sales manager stepping in and picking up the slack towards the end. I would recommend Lennar for any future buyer.

Was told walk thru was on a certain date and closing to follow , but after 3.5 weeks of rescheduling and stories we finally closed, there was no consideration or reimbursement for staying in a hotel for that period of time as the building was no wear near finished upon our arrival in Florida,
