The sales rep. Cindy was very professional and was great to work with. The closing team promised completion of all issues and that was all BS . No follow up to issues. They said what we wanted to hear to close the deal. Extremely disappointed and I would not recommend LENNAR ! Wish I had not purchased !!!

The sales agent we worked with was fantastic and the mortgage person was fantastic too and got us a great rate. On the builder side, however, there were issues and delays. In several walks of the house, I listed several issues with the construction team and many of those issues went unsolved and as we live in the house, they continue to remain unsolved.

We were forced to close on our new home, and the home was not complete. Lennar had our money, and we were closing virtually because we were located out of state. It was clear that the construction team had not completed the house and had no plans of delivering a finished product. They were pushing as much as they could on the warranty team. I have worked with other competing builders in the area and the Lennar experience was by far the worst I have seen. I'll be buying more homes in the area and most likely not from Lennar. I also won't be recommending Lennar to anyone else who asks me.

Closing took a couple of months longer than ever tef mostly due to issues out of Lennar’s control. The workmanship of the trades was excellent. The finish work was just ok. The sod died as the rear irrigation did not work for a month, and that is really the only warranty issue that I’m still waiting on. ( Irrigation fixed but the controller uses a work around not 100% correct). Overall I am very happy. It’s a great value for the money in this area. The crews were clean and polite. It’s my 4th new home and had other builders and I’d go with Lennar again hands down.

This experience has been way too stressful to even go into detail. So many issues and so many broken promises. No one gets back to you and when they do, it’s nothing but excuses. You schedule for things to be fixed and the contractors don’t show up after you’ve waited around all day for nothing. Missing light bulbs, horrible paint job, grout and paint all over the place, toilet paper holders falling off the walls, pavers loose, crooked poorly installed drawers, dirty carpets. The list goes on and oh! These things were supposed to be completed upon the second walk through and they weren’t. I was promised and asked “do you trust me to finish it?” I stupidly agreed and it never got done. Shame on me for believing it, but shame on Lennar for lying and not getting the job done and getting mad at the buyer when there’s a concern. ... More

Lennar is a builder I trust. They built our home in the time frame they promised. They delivered a product they promised. They fixed the very few issues we had with it after we took possession. It’s a beautiful product and I highly recommend them.

Was not happy with my Lennar experience. We love the area and our neighborhood but the the experience with Lennar and its salespeople is very sketchy! We were given three days notice to do our walkthrough and it was during a time our Lennar salesperson knew we were NOT available due to the personal and work commitments. They stopped corresponding with us after we asked for a new date then went ahead and did the walkthrough without us. We got a very brief video of our walkthrough that was conducted by a Lennar salesperson. Not only was this a conflict of interest but the video we received of the walkthrough only covered superficial items and did not look at electrical, plumbing, garage doors, etc. In summary, a national company that worries about sales numbers, the bottom dollar, and NOT their customer. Lennar is the worst home buying experience you could ever imagine. Broken appliances . the expectation is for them to completely inconvenience you and nothing ever gets resolved. Dryer broken, stove leaks gas.. techs have been out 3 times now. Still not resolved.Every issues is another problems issue

I initially started working with one man he was no help helping me answer my questions. Meant with him twice before a purchased my home. Then he was gone. No one ever contacted me again. Tried to call and got no answer. Finally I drove up here to see what was going on and I was told he left the company. That was it. Finally I was told someone would contact me . No one did. I drove here again. Approximately 2 hour drive. This man in the office said he had a headache and couldn’t talk to me because he was going to lunch. I waited with my friend, another hour and a half when he returned. I walked in his office and said I just have a few questions about my contract. He grabbed my contract looked at what I had circled threw it at me, tearing it and said go home and read it again. My friend and I were in shock! I had just spent over 6 hundred thousand dollars and I was treated this badly. I went to a lawyer to get out of the contract but was told I was stuck! I was so terrified I had made the biggest mistake of my life. Nothing changed until I finally got word the home was finally ready. I had been assigned a new rep and she answered my calls . After I moved in the cooperation was unbelievably better. My girl assigned to fix the things that had to be changed were handled so well and the people were so friendly and supportive and followed through beautifully. Love my new beautiful home

It was very nice having such a simple process to purchase a new home, but with no sales center at our community. Our conversation with the sales rep was short and to the point with many details missing. Also, the contract we signed in Docusign was missing the upgrades package for our home. We were also given zero information about our HOA from the sales agent. Gratefully, we had a good mortgage officer and construction manager. Because the did all the heavy lifting in make sure our process was smooth. The closing office forgot to reschedule us or keep us updated on the delays of our home. The construction manager Rob did that for us. The closing officer also didn't let us handle the tape during our walk through. She forced us to tell her what to tape. We ended up buying our own tape and walking through an hour after the initial walkthrough was done. Overall grateful for the help we did receive and the beautiful home for the absolutely wonderful price. ... More

The response to fixing things is great. Would be nice to have bushes included in maintenance.

Lennar was in a hurry to close the home. Because of this there are many items that didn't get taken care of on the final punch list. i.e. painting, paint on carpet etc.

Forced to close with no regard for customer satisfaction

Joey D was great, after his part it’s been one problem after another. The bottom line is speed is prioritized over quality…and it really shows. What should be a wonderful experience has been about as fun as a root canal. Appliances, electrical, carpentry, paint, masonry, landscaping, plumbing, HVAC, stucco, cabinetry, tile - I can’t think of one aspect of our house that hasn’t had issues. Just exhausting, frustrating, and disappointing.

Purchased two townhomes in Lakewood Ranch. (Lorraine Lakes) Sales Rep for Lennar was completely unprofessional in his approach. Craftsmanship and customer services has gone by the wayside. Their a production builder and apparently hire anybody.

The staff at Lennar are wonderful and the buying process was made as simple as possible. The real issue that Lennar needs to work on, is the finishing work and hire contractors that deliver a much higher quality of craftsmanship than they do today. We had a terrible walk through and closing experience due to the bevy of unresolved items that our project manager didn’t handle. If Lennar had a quality coordinator to review and follow through on work prior to presenting a home to a new owner it would greatly improve the process in our opinion. People shouldn’t spend this kind of money on a home , and then have to chase down and work with the Contractors to finish things that should have been done prior to closing. Good luck. ... More

I always liked Lennar, but I see now the poor workmanship that we as new owner have to go through because the sub contractor get away with poor work standards. I have to submit warranty work for basic construction work example kitchen cabinets not leveled properly, rain gutters pitch towards the house and not to the down spout, paint on window frames and screens. MY BRAND NEW TUB big chunk missing and scratches because the subcontractors had cement all over the tub during construction with no protection. FYI I can only pray they taped all of the joints especially in the showers corners.. Lennar big message to you time to hold subcontractor responsible for doing poor work, charge them for all of the work and if you want to meet with me (I’m talking to the CEO and big bosses) Please contact me so i can show you what’s happening in the field. BTW my cabinets are schedule to be repaired in late August (I bought the house late February) and my tub repair is scheduled for August 1,2023. The quality of materials and workmanship is sub-standard at best. Lennar houses are slapped together in an assembly line manner. There are no changes allowed of any sort. Our salesman flat out lied throughout the process. Once we got close to closing we finally were able to meet the construction manager. She has no knowledge of construction. She just knows what she's told by her bosses. There are so many issues to be fixed of which they rely on the warranty dept. So far the warranty dept has been good but it's alot of emails and scheduling for people to be in our house. I highly recommend everyone to save yourselves and stay away from Lennar. ... More

Buyer beware of what you are getting into with Lennar at Lorraine Lakes. Poor communication from Bobbi the sales agent, a terrible experience with Fernando the "construction manager" and deception from both individuals when it came to the closing issues on our new $700k+ home. It is our dream home in our dream neighborhood. But we never dreamed we would have such a poor experience buying a home this expensive. 6 weeks after closing, we are still awaiting resolution on issues that were identified at our walkthru and were supposed to have been fixed within 24 hours of closing. Our home is sloppily constructed. Evidence of poor workmanship is present in every room. The master shower floor is being scheduled for a complete removal and replacement after having been re-grouted 2x already post closing. Kitchen cabinets being ordered for replacement. Our cooktop is not permanently mounted and slides freely in its opening, scratching the quartz (and warranty refuses to address it). Our carpet in our closet was not completed for 3 weeks after closing. Broken tiles, whole sections not caulked. Just a nightmare of problems. Fernando built a poor version of a beautiful house, was arrogant and difficult to communicate with and chose to throw a hissy fit and stomp out of our only walkthru when we made our concerns known. The warranty team has been struggling to keep up with all our tickets. We have so many outstanding issues I have a hard time keeping them all straight. At least Heather in the warranty dept seems to care and answers the phone and emails about half the time. Once they have your money and you close, you lose all leverage. Beware. ... More

This house has been a nightmare! Two weeks after closing we noticed black mold in the owners bathroom. Lennar responded quickly to mitigate the problem but took 3 weeks and multiple vendors to identify the source of the water leak. Tiles, vanity and shower subfloor had to be removed. Two months after closing we still do not have use of the bathroom or our bedroom due to the continuous state of construction. Additionally, a week after the bathroom problem was identified, the garage started taking in water. Again, it took 4 vendors to identify source of the leak, blocks and floor cement escavated, leak fixed and floor and wall reconstructed. All of this was happening while they were addressing the dozen other tickets submitted for damaged items, lack of detail and sloppy workmanship. Poor quality construction. Disappointed for sure. The only shining light is Wendy. She is responsive and easy to work with during this difficult process. ... More

Wouldn’t recommend LENNAR to anyone still trying to get get doors flipped right side up no handles on doors took two months to get lights in rooms

Workmanship of all grouting was terrible. All shipping plastic on the shower basin was not removed and was caulked over the top and peeling off. Overspray of white paint on black cabinets. Many door trim finish boards were cut over an inch short and just caulked at the floor. Garage door floor area had to be floated because there were 1/2 gaps on both far left and far right sides of the door when the door was closed. Alot of mortar was spilled on the garage floor and front porch which all needed to be chipped off. Paint and stains on the carpet. We had the carpets steamed cleaned before we moved in. A number of items that were to be fixed between the initial walk through and closing were not completed. During the final walk through several workers were still in the house working on the issues. We closed 2/28/23 and as of 4/11/23 our yards sod is not complete. Many issues were not addressed in the timely manner that the CM stated they would be. The evening before the down payment was to be made, we were notified of a price increase. ... More

Overall pretty good experience. Fairly responsive to small issues. The only negative is that it was super late after the sale process that I was advised that the extended lanai was no longer offered. Was a big selling point for us.
