The fact that very few options are available for the purchaser throughout the home.

That they claim to not be a "custom builder" when they need excuses for construction miscues and for their lack of options. For the price of their home, it seems unreasonable to make those claims. Buyers must understand that changes internally will be on their own, while changes externally are virtually non-existent due to HOA regulations.

I completed a scathing review of Lennar 5 months ago. I will summarize. I consider Lennar the worst home builder I have ever worked with and I have moved 39 times. Your prime motivator is speed , not quality. Your workers take no pride in their work and do not respect the work of others. I did not rate you in trustworthiness as I have no way to measure this, and of course your survey required an answer to submit.

Lennar did not fix items before our closing as promised. Much of the blue tape was removed even though the issues had not been resolved. Items are slowly being addressed via warranty tickets weeks later.

Well, I can’t write a good review! Our irrigation system in front still doesn’t work! Our spa heater didn’t work for at least a month after we closed! The permits on the pool and pool cage and gas line were not closed before we moved in. We finally got ahold of Lennar Representative that helped us.. We were caught in the middle of Lennar and Holiday pool! You think you would want to make this process happy for people, we just bought a new home! Then you have to contend with warranty work! Was not happy with my Lennar experience. We love the area and our neighborhood but the the experience with Lennar and its salespeople is very sketchy! We were given three days notice to do our walkthrough and it was during a time our Lennar salesperson knew we were NOT available due to the personal and work commitments. They stopped corresponding with us after we asked for a new date then went ahead and did the walkthrough without us. I don’t know where to begin with our frustrations. This is the 4th house we’ve built and 2nd with Lennar. We were a return customer bc the our 1st experience was great from the sales agent they the after purchase customer experience. This time was a huge fail. The biggest fail being the sales agent. And that’s a huge statement considering we had to have our master bath redone due to a water leak and mold issues within the first month. The sales rep. Cindy was very professional and was great to work with. The closing team promised completion of all issues and that was all BS . No follow up to issues. They said what we wanted to hear to close the deal. Extremely disappointed and I would not recommend LENNAR ! Wish I had not purchased !!!

Joey D was great, after his part it’s been one problem after another. The bottom line is speed is prioritized over quality…and it really shows. What should be a wonderful experience has been about as fun as a root canal. Appliances, electrical, carpentry, paint, masonry, landscaping, plumbing, HVAC, stucco, cabinetry, tile - I can’t think of one aspect of our house that hasn’t had issues. Just exhausting, frustrating, and disappointing.

This house has been a nightmare! Two weeks after closing we noticed black mold in the owners bathroom. Lennar responded quickly to mitigate the problem but took 3 weeks and multiple vendors to identify the source of the water leak. Tiles, vanity and shower subfloor had to be removed. Two months after closing we still do not have use of the bathroom or our bedroom due to the continuous state of construction. Lennar - Lennar has no control over Holiday Pool.

Lennar has no control over Holiday Pool. We closed on July 1st and our pool heater does not work and pool control panel is not hooked up inside our house. 3 Lennar construction managers, warranty service manager, and virtual service manager have not been able to get Holiday Pool out here to complete the job.

In this market, we were too far in to be able to back out when we realized we had made the mistake. From the Sales Side: We've learned that there are so many in our community that were lied to from the beginning with regards to what was being offered and to what degree Lennar could change those terms through the course of construction and there's nothing you can do about it. No trustworthy communication between sales and construction staff as to building delays, realistic settlement dates, or other updates. Each side blames each other when you talk with them. We closed on our home on August 30th with three pages of items that still needed to be done on our home. Now seven weeks later, we still have atleast 2 sheets of items still not complete. Poor communication. Changed CSR reps 3 times. Multiple delays mixed with the horrible communication required multiple moves and overlapping rent on multiple locations. Then gave estimate of 6 months, so we signed a 7 month lease, just to find out 2 weeks later they wanted to rush the close within a month so they could hit financial targets for the quarter. Lennar uses 100s of contractors, so there is no accountability for work that will require follow-up once you actually own your home. The walls are thin and provide no sound proofing, this includes the thin aluminum windows that seep air/moisture. They use matte paint throughout, even in the kitchen and bathrooms. "Upgraded Cabinets" means they are white in color- they are made of soft wood that will show even slight dings from regular use.
