It says a lot when you speak to neighbors and they all share the same problems and frustration with the builder as you do. I dread the problems I might come across 5 years from now.

Not the lowest quality but not nearly the highest either. Too many sensible items missed. No lights on house numbers outside and all houses look the same. Hard to distinguish your home at night and even in the day. Many light switched in absolutely the wrong place. At closing, refrigerator was dead, needed to be replaced. Numerous cabinet doors needed adjustment or replacement. Shelves missing. Crack in Lanai. Carpet seam runs right through the middle of the bedroom. Two car garage will only fit two cars if they are both very small cars. My SUV barely fits. Hot water, or no hot water actually, is an issue in the community. All that said, we love the community and are happy with the house. We probably would have made the same decision to move here again. Two very nice golf courses. ... More

The completion date was delayed several months due to virus building material delays. The irritating part was the demanding closing date - prior to completion. We were not available to close in person and the Lennar sales and closing office was adamant/unyielding to close and get their money-before our home was completed.

We had a great experience thru the purchase and closing process. Sales staff is very friendly and responsive. The Lennar Mortgage team was slow to respond and had rates higher than other lenders, and therefore were not used. Construction, appliances and finishes were of sub-par quality compared to other new construction in similar price ranges. Issues found during closing walk thru were not completed before closing and were thus sent to the warranty team which was initially slow to respond. I love the neighborhood and amenities, but wished there was more focus on quality vs speed to closure and payment. ... More

We purchased 2 coach homes. Looks like Material cost inflation from the deposit date until closing on the 2nd property is resulting in using lower quality appliances ( dishwasher, etc) and dropping accessories such a ceiling fans, medicine cabinets, etc.

Our sales contact, Kaleigh was great!! Jim, our lead contractor was very responsive too.

Average at best for our experience.

Has a great Construction Manager

This house presented a means to an end. We got a very discounted house with poor finishes. Because the price was low, we were able to tear out many low-quality aspects of the house and replace them with higher-grade materials.

The construction manager was in over her head. We had to battle to get defects fixed. The warranty people since we closed are more responsive. We closed almost 2 months ago and are still waiting for exterior trim painting to be done. The finish in the home is sloppy and the workers don’t care about the finished product because they are all subcontractors.

Check everything before you buy

Very disappointed with craftsmanship & quality of materials. Very sloppy & dirty outside. Dirty elevator & stairs.

Zero response to warranty issues

There are some nice features in the house. We were not allowed to change anything even though we were willing to pay for tile in all rooms. We had a home inspector inspect the house and he made a list of things that were not done correctly in early August. We are still trying to get the last of those items finished and it is October 11th. We were not told the truth and closed on the house after being assured that all the repairs were completed only to find out that at l1 items were still not completed. For the most part the warranty repair people are much better than the original people that built the house. They have been very good to work with and do a quality job. ... More

The sales agent we worked with was fantastic and the mortgage person was fantastic too and got us a great rate. On the builder side, however, there were issues and delays. In several walks of the house, I listed several issues with the construction team and many of those issues went unsolved and as we live in the house, they continue to remain unsolved.

This house was definitely built for renter. Everything is cheaply made. Toilets started leaking, fridge has broken parts, front door is missing weather strips. The buying process was terrible. Lender and seller were not in tune with the community they were representing. The only reason I stayed in through the process was becuase they made eme put down 10% and would not return my money if I walked away. Never again with lennar

Getting responses from departments that are supposed to rectify issues is next to impossible. Seven weeks after closing still have 20+ items remaining from punch list.

Our condo was completed in less than a year which we were pleased with. What I'm not so pleased with is we were left with broken bi-fold doors, a dishwasher and garbage disposal that hasn't worked since day one and still isn't working. Our outside storage unit wouldn't lock with the keys that we were provided so our outdoor stuff could have been stolen while we waited more than a month for it to be re-keyed. We also weren't pleased with the follow up from our sales rep, he was very unresponsive throughout the process. We have put in trouble tickets to fix the problems that are listed above, I would be surprised if there is any urgency in fixing them since we already own the condo. ... More

Dont feel we received enough communication with timelines during the build process. We had to reach out many times. Would not use Lennar Mortgage company ever again. Our Mortgage rep was very difficult to work with and made the whole process very stressful. Mixed communication received on final walk thru between our CM and sales rep. Still working on getting some building issues resolved. It just to bad that the builders didnt take a few extra mins to take pride in their work we wouldnt have to have many different contractors to come back and fix their mistakes. (misalligned garage doors which also have to be repainted, front door gap at threshold, cracked mirror, sloppy texturing on walls, grout missing in many places around tile, misaligned cabinet draws, broken garbage can draw, two different style pendant lights in kitchen, poor wiring on electrical) These are nice designed houses - take pride in your work! ... Be aware of all the corners they are now cutting.

I have tempered my expectations of the builder Lennar with all that has happened over the past several years with the pandemic, labor crunch and all of the other challenges facing individuals and companies. However, Lennar uses and iron clad contract where you follow their rules or they keep your 10% down and then sell your contracted home to someone else - to say they have you between a rock and hard place is an understatement. Long story short - my new home was not complete when I received the "time to close" notice. So we closed, I headed to our new home and what did I find - a home that was roughly 95% complete. The home was dirty, there were building materials laying around, damage to appliances, dinged walls, used toilets that were left dirty, the list could go on but I think the brief description accurately depicts the circumstances. In their rush to close the properties, they closed them before they were genuinely ready, and I presume they intended to button things up at a later date. It has been 60 days since we closed and I haven't heard a word from Lennar on the open items that were to be resolved. ... More

Pretty area close to beaches pretty landscape

First of all, we we were on a waiting list for our home. Then, out of the blue, we had to endure a lengthy wait with stressful bidding...raising the price over 100k than original list price! Upon moving in, we found the the quality of trade workmanship sorely lacking. There were way too many issues on the punchlist and afterwards for any of the Lennar staff to reasonably complete in the 60 day period. We still have many issues to resolve...and a tilted ceiling that cannot be reasonably addressed. Love the place...just wish we had a much better experience. Recognize they are a production builder and volume is key, not workmanship or quality of finishes.

You have no options or upgrades, just a cookie cutter builder for low to middle class. Poor quality workmanship and rushes through buildings just to sell. After closing almost two months ago I am still waiting for repairs to be done.
