The sales and finance teams are awesome. The warranty team has been good to work with. The overall construction, workmanship, oversight and quality are absolutely terrible. The trade workers have no regard for the way they perform their jobs. When the home was completed and turned over to me it was a disgrace. Please take some pride in what you do and give people a home they can be proud of from day one.

It. Has been a disappointing experience from sales, orientation, communication, follow through to correct. deficiencies in the house a landscaping. . I am guessing you have too few staff to provide the qualities you promise. The delays in getting to closing I.e. simple repairs and/or replacements made it extremely costly and frustrating arranging shipping, transport etc all of which was easily easiily solveable.

Workmanship of all grouting was terrible. All shipping plastic on the shower basin was not removed and was caulked over the top and peeling off. Overspray of white paint on black cabinets. Many door trim finish boards were cut over an inch short and just caulked at the floor. Garage door floor area had to be floated because there were 1/2 gaps on both far left and far right sides of the door when the door was closed. Alot of mortar was spilled on the garage floor and front porch which all needed to be chipped off. Paint and stains on the carpet. We had the carpets steamed cleaned ...

Unfortunately, when it came to our salesman it was a poor experience. When you re spending well over the amount the house is worth just do to the market you expect professionalism atleast. We had a wonderful experience with our project manager who really was attentive but when it came to customer service provided by sales contact it was extremely poor and unprofessional.

Our Lennar home-buying experience can be summed up in two sentences… Lack of communication!!! Poor attention to construction detail!! From the moment we signed the agreement to purchase our new home build, to settlement, we felt like we were left in the dark and unvalued!!! We were forced to close on our new home, and the home was not complete. Lennar had our money, and we were closing virtually because we were located out of state. It was clear that the construction team had not completed the house and had no plans of delivering a finished product. They were pushing as much as they could on the warranty team. I have worked with other competing builders in the area and the Lennar experience was by far the worst I have seen. I'll be buying more homes in the area and most likely not from Lennar. I also won't be recommending Lennar to anyone else who asks me.

Forced to close on a home that wasn't complete

Sadly, our experience with Lennar was not a good one. We have purchased many homes over the years, including a few new builds. The issues: 1. Late. The home was "completed" over 3 months late. 2. Forced to close. Lennar forced us to close on our house on a certain date (5/31) to meet their quarterly figures. They even told me the same. Even after we told them we do not want to close as the house wasn't finished and the punchlist (if you can call it that) was extensive, they closed the transaction anyway. 3. No Cert. of Occupancy. Unfortunately, I do not have a good review regarding the home construction, which is full of problems and defects-- and the list is long. Some workers simply should not construct anyone's home. Customer service and warranty as well as sales is responsive and professional, so hopefully the defects and problems in construction will be taken care of afterwards. However, a new homeowner should not have to plead and stress about the multitude of problems in the new build in a new community.

Bidding for a home is not fair for the home buyer. Every home buyer in our neighboorhood paid a different price for the idenical home.

Take your time during the final inspection. Do not close on your home until the corrections are completed. We have been waiting for over six weeks for the pavers to be replaced in the lani. The granite used in the kitchen is not sealed properly causing permament stains. The granite installation company and Lennar have stated the granite is defected in many homes in Lorraine Lakes but have informed home owners they will not replace the defective granite.

Workmanship is terrible. The grass in the garden is pretty much dead at this point. No toilet paper holders, shower rails, soap dishes, broken roof tiles, damaged windows screens, lamp on the front lawn doesn’t work, cracked/missing tiles in the driveway, unwired faceplates throughout the home, paint dripping over light switches/tiles, holes behind all light switches, loose fixtures in the all bathrooms, all windows blinds hung the wrong way, gaps in doors throughout the home, missing stucco all over the outside of the home, grass wasn’t placed Properly resulting in tripping hazards ...

Roof leaked after rainstorm. Many small repairs needed, e.g., painting, draws sticking, door locks not working, problems with pool fence, shelves in cupboards. Lennar Customer Care has been very good so far but don't know when leaking roof will be repaired. Cheap towel bars and hardware. This was a very expensive home and we are so disappointed in Lennar.

After less than a month of moving in a flood occurred in my home, flooding 2/3 of the interior of my newly built home. The drain lines to the washing machine was not connected. I also experienced another flood in a former LENNAR home I had moved from-a Coach home- After just 3 days a sewage backup breached my master bath. Disappointing Communication and Invasive Finance Process

Briefly, Communication throughout the loan, construction and closing process was poor - in some cases, non-existent. But Lennar will hold you to their dates with threats of penalties ... but when they miss a date, that's just how it is ... even if you had travel planned on those dates. The loan process was invasive as any process I've ever experienced; they should make the customer aware that an asset-based loan (which they don't offer with their promotions) would work for many customers vs. an income-based loan.

Lennar doesn’t drop prices, Lennar doesn’t help with closing fees, and Lennar doesn’t put lights in bedrooms! Lennar doesn’t help at all! My experience with LENNAR was my worst experience ever. I’ve purchased many houses across the world but I’ve never once seen something like this happen.

There are so many issues. The quality of workmanship is terrible. The response: it's a production home. Yes, I paid over $900,000 for a "production home." The pool does not work. There is a panel missing by the equipment which, once actually installed, would permit me to run the pool from the panel (also missing) inside my house. I spent nearly $250,000 to rip out the utterly ridiculous work on the inside and replace it with quality elements more appropriate for a now million dollar home 45 minutes from the coast. The hot water heater does not provide enough hot water for a ten minute ...
