They did not meet move in dates. Walk thrus we’re a waste of time as nothing was completed. Now that we are here we sent in a list of repairs two weeks ago and have not heard from them. Not sure what the procedure is but two weeks and more is unacceptable. Joey in sales was very nice and did a great job. Waiting till all is done and we can start to enjoy our home.

Overall a great sales experience. After we purchased, warranty issue after issue. The roof had 15 cracks from poor workmanship.....still no warranty resolution. Many neighbors shared the same experience with the roof.

Not a top quality builder in my opinion. Many issues with unfinished work even though this was a Move-In Ready Home. Hard to get things finished or fixed in a timely manner. Construction manager very unreliable and unresponsive.

We really didn't feel like Lennar cared about our needs during the closing process. It was all about the close on the date they chose. No flexibility at all.

I am pleased with the quality of the home for the price I paid. I have had a few issues and they have been quick to respond. However, Lennar mortgage and Lennar title were awful! Mortgage company messed up loan, blamed me, threatened me and delayed closing. Cost me extra to close. The title company did not send the homeowner's insurance payment (which I paid to them in closing) to the insurance company for over a month. I had to pay the insurance company and wait for them to receive payment before I got reimbursed.

Have contractors take their time and put out a better finished product

Our house was good and our salesperson was great. They responded to our needs but we found two things wrong after closing that we missed in walkthrough and we were told by warranty people they don't fix those under warranty. I think that was awful and you would want to make your new people happy. I voiced my displeasure with the warranty people.

It was very nice having such a simple process to purchase a new home, but with no sales center at our community. Our conversation with the sales rep was short and to the point with many details missing. Also, the contract we signed in Docusign was missing the upgrades package for our home. We were also given zero information about our HOA from the sales agent. Gratefully, we had a good mortgage officer and construction manager. Because the did all the heavy lifting in make sure our process was smooth. The closing office forgot to reschedule us or keep us updated on the delays of our home. The construction manager Rob did that for us. The closing officer also didn't let us handle the tape during our walk through. She forced us to tell her what to tape. We ended up buying our own tape and walking through an hour after the initial walkthrough was done. Attempting to obtain a mortgage for the property was torture. I finally paid cash just to get it over and done with.

The Construction Manager was excellent and quite helpful. Product was more polished and clean than the first Lennar condo we purchased. Mortgage process is trying.

Overall, the experience was okay, but far from smooth. I can’t imagine having gone through this process without a realtor representing our interests. The loan process was extremely stressful and felt disorganized, with poor communication between departments and, at times, an overwhelming and frustrating experience. On the positive side, the title process was excellent and the only part that went seamlessly. Our sales representative, Kim, was truly wonderful. When we discovered we had been sold the wrong lot—a very difficult and disappointing situation—her efforts to help and advocate made a significant difference. Without her involvement, we likely would have canceled the contract. Unfortunately, we were disappointed by Lennar’s lack of accountability and willingness to help resolve the issue. We never received an apology, and it felt as though the company’s priorities were more focused on its own interests rather than the buyer’s experience. That said, we are happy with our home. In today’s market, Lennar does offer affordable pricing, which can be a real opportunity for buyers looking to enter the market and secure a starter home. The mortgage salesman was not professional and very pushy. I would not recommend using Lennar Mortgage. The building site superintendent was great to work with. If it wasn't for him, I would not have went through with the purchase.

We got a beautiful home for a good price. However, Lennar left the place filthy. We never expected to have to deep clean before moving into our new home. We asked repeatedly about having the home cleaned and we’re actually told it had been cleaned. perhaps Lennar has a different standard on what clean is.There was construction dust everywhere on every surface. An unbelievable about bugs all over the counters and an incredible amount of paint on the floor that had to be scraped off on our hands and knees. Lennar also has not responded to requests to replace a door handle on our siding glass door. We spoke with the construction manager Leesa more than once about replacing a door handle on our sliding glass door that has a huge chip out of it. She repeatedly told us it was on order. Not sure where they’re ordering from but we have not heard anything back about it despite our repeated inquiries. I hate to think what a struggle It will be to get any warranty work completed. The community is beautiful, however the home buying process through Lennar mortgage was beyond stressful and quite difficult. Our file was passed through multiple people and it seemed if each person had us start fe the very beginning of the process. So very stressful and irritating. There was a miscommunication as to what color scheme our home would be and upon our walkthrough we were promised by a gentleman covering for Brittany that we could easily change the color. Long story short, after jumping through multiple hoops, no response from texts sent to Brittany or her boss Cathy, we were the told today, that they will not be painting the door. Basically, we got what we got. Needless to say, we are not happy with that response or the way the whole situation has been handled. We simply wanted what was promised to us on our walkthrough. The title company was not very organized The warranty department is extremely slow in responding to issues with our home I’ve been waiting over three weeks for them to get back to me with a date that they will be here to fix my issue Our sales person was nice It’s been very disappointing

only person worth mentioning is eric W. the supervisor. Could not have had a better person. his care is incredible. Other than that, house is built very cheaply, and has many imperfections in terms of paint, finishes, etc.

For us, the actual purchase/closing experience was the worst part of owning at Prosperity Lakes. When we purchased in August, we were told that our closing was in 30 days; two - three weeks later it was changed to mid-October. Then it was changed two more times. To say this caused us incredible stress is an understatement (among other things) BUT I made contact with one of Lennar's Presidents and explained our situation. From that point forward it was absolutely smooth sailing. That's not to say we didn't have issues with the house, but their Customer Care team has worked diligently to get everything resolved to our satisfaction. Of particular note are Jason and Gabe -- these two men have literally been Godsends and have followed through on everything. I can't speak highly enough of them. I know that Lennar is a production builder and they are a publicly held company that answers to a Board of Directors - this is the biggest reason they don't offer options or make changes to their product and obviously the bottom line is of utmost concern to them - but I think a tighter quality of finished product could be managed and some higher end elements included in the homes for the 55+ active adult communities. For example, roll outs were included in the upper section of the kitchen cabinet bases but you are selling to 55+ people -- putting the roll outs in the lower section of the cabinets makes much more sense because bending and reaching into the lowest part of a cabinet opening is much more difficult. Also, making the doorways and hallways wider to accommodate wheelchairs makes much more sense for homes for this age group but there are definitely doorways and hallway entrances that would never accommodate a wheelchair and will require us to modify our home if we get to a wheelchair situation. There are other examples of where just a little more thought on layout/use could be implemented in the design phase that wouldn't impact the bottom line and would make the house more usable for the age group. Otherwise, we are excited about living here and looking forward to when the community amenities are available. We have already met so many great neighbors and that aspect of Prosperity Lakes Active Adult Community is what drew us in. ... More

everything went well so far

Disappointed… easy to get in. Sales and mortgage groups were great. What promised was not what I was given. Now fence blown down and it seems they are taking their time to repair. We live on main road and it is super loud and cars have access to our back door. Very scary.

Selection of house and the building process went smoothly until it was to close. During our walkthrough, inspections were not complete, house was not cleaned at all, some items were not completed, final trim paint was not finished. We did our walk through and made list of items that needed to be fixed or finished. We were told it all would be completed by the closing date. On the morning of closing, many items were still not complete and the final inspection was not completed. So we could not close. We had our U-Haul truck loaded and had to wait until late afternoon before we had final inspection for occupancy. However there were some items not complete yet and we were told that they would get done. So we close on the house and were able to move in that evening. But we still have items not completed. Bought a home that was already being built. Got a good interest rate through Lennar Mortgage and felt like we got the house at a very reasonable price. Only complaint was that they didn’t include glass front doors like the pictures and all the other homes in the community.

Getting issues corrected after we moved in was a real hassle. There are too many people to deal with. One person says they will take care of something and drops the ball. Another says to file a report on line with Lennar. All in all you waste your time waiting for people who never show up!!
