Sales: Bobbi, the sales agent I worked with was excellent and knowledgable. Warranty: Heather and the virtual warranty team seem to be proactive with reported items, although several that were reported over the last two months don't have appointments scheduled and other trades scheduled their appoinments quickly. Some warranty repairs were not made properly, very disappointing. Lennar needs to hire another pool company to make the warranty repairs and charge back to Holiday Pools since they aren't interested in repairing my pool/spa issues.

Very disappointed in the quality of materials and craftsmanship of the home. Extremely sloppy grout, wood work, and painting. We did not expect to move into a brand new home and need to fix SO MANY things— The amount of carelessness, cheap materials, and inexperience of their trade workers is evident in every room. Literally everything from the exterior paint peeling off after only one month, the cracks and water standing in the yard, to the windows being impossible to open—to the bulging outlets, drywall seam lines, and the amount of extra grout smeared on the shower and floor tiles— there is nothing luxurious about any of it! Our home buying experience was excellent because of a woman named Jennifer. She kept in touch with us through text and emails with periodic pictures of the progress of the construction. She made buying our Florida retirement home from New Jersey very enjoyable.

It has been one thing after another We had a leak in our wall our tile and baseboard is ruined I had to fight with them for a mold inspection our vanity in that bathroom is cracked and they don’t want to replace it but fix it. The quality of materials is awful our inside door hinges are rusting after living here for less than a month They put do much drywall around my outlets i could not even use them an electrician had to remove outlet cover and chisel away excess drywall in order to make it usable I have paint chipping off my kitchen cabinets already because such cheap quality we also had a leak under our bathroom sink and because of the material being Cheap MDF the cabinet warped still waiting for it to be fixed The trades also got concrete all over my driveway ruing my pavers they have been here 5 times to power wash them and it’s still there We bought this house and all I do I cry I can’t even enjoy it the list goes on and on There are big gaps in my tiles in all bathrooms for not putting enough grout they didn’t caulk in many areas they hung the junction box in wrong place in my living room and list goes on and on ... Lennar has no control over Holiday Pool. We closed on July 1st and our pool heater does not work and pool control panel is not hooked up inside our house. 3 Lennar construction managers, warranty service manager, and virtual service manager have not been able to get Holiday Pool out here to complete the job.

First, I felt so depressed when deciding to buy this new home. But Ms. Jennifer (New Home Consultant) helping me a lot the entire process from initial purchase to final move-in, by calling or texting me, no matter in weekday or weekend, because I live out of State. Her excellent job made me feel so comfortable. My new home is a good quality and beautiful. The builder's team is also doing an excellent job as promised in timely fashion. I will refer families and friends about this builder.

We were told that once Lennar received the certificate of occupancy we had to close shortly thereafter. Unfortunately, there were many items not completed when we moved in 2 weeks after we had closed including gas line not connected to dryer, fridge circuit breaker not holding, pool (which was very expensive) not operational, cabinets not completely in, a water leak coming into the den, and many other punch lists items. Our construction manager has been great in trying to resolve these problems but a lot of it is out of his hands as he has to rely on sub-contractors. Six weeks after our close our pool is just now almost ready, cabinets are still not done, and there are still 1/2 dozen other items on the punch list. The warranty department is doing its best as well in trying to solve these issues but it is all taking quite a bit of time. ... More

Very disappointed in Lennar and the volume of issues needing to be fixed after move-in, including lanai flooding, garage keypad not working, water not connected for dishwasher, sloppy workmanship. The sales rep (not Art) and Oleg (construction manager) did a hasty walk-through prior to close — Oleg was completely disinterested and made offensive remarks about this home not being “custom construction.” The pair essentially lied in telling us the repairs we were requesting would be completed “in the next few weeks.” That was May 5 and many of the repairs are yet to be made as of August 3. It is difficult to understand why Lennar wouldn’t do finishing work correctly, rather than sending out multiple vendors to do repairs. Have also found odd engineering such master bath blinds that operate only on the left side, which requires the homeowner to climb into the soaking tub to adjust/open the blinds — who is going to do that every day? The towel bar is also above the soaking tub, making it unusable, and the kitchen sink does not get hot water unless you run it for at least 5 minutes, and then it is “warm”, not hot. The repair person told me this is due to the tankless water system which does not accommodate the island kitchen sink. We have turned temp up but it is a marginal improvement — not right for a $600+K home. Additionally, the Genie garage door opener apparently cannot be programmed for temporary codes as Liftmasters can be — Liftmaster was listed on the original design sheet for the home, and the Lennar “smart home” kit includes a Liftmaster Ring product, so not sure how one is supposed to connect that to a Genie opener. Also a dead-end from Lennar regarding water run-off from gutters in front of garage that is causing deep holes to fill with water and all the mulch to be washed away. Lennar says the gutters are up to spec and they cannot fix further, but clearly having holes filling with water is an issue. ... More

As so may others, we moved here from out of state and waited patiently for the house to be ready. There is not enough room here for me to list all of things that were - and still are - wrong with this house. I am not referring to little nit picky things. I mean things as bad as dangerous exposed electrical issues that finally got fixed 7 weeks after we closed. We own another Lennar house in a different state so we know that Lennar does do good work (despite its many negative reviews.) However - our experience with this house has been nothing but negative. We found out that it never even had a proper walk through because the guy was on vacation that week - can you imagine? The worst part is that we are easy going people. If there is a problem we don't complain. Instead we just want the steps to get it fixed. We have been lied to every step of the way. Our contact person harps on what was not discussed at the 30 day walk through, implying that things may not get fixed. Note - the 30 day walk through is a big joke. When there are this many things wrong you can't rush through a house and expect to get it all. If there is a 1 year warranty why can't it get fixed? Why can't we have what we paid for? This answer is not made clear. We don't understand why the response isn't more professional - such as - I am sorry this happened. Here is what we need to do to fix this for you. Instead our person tells us how this is Lennar policy and there is nothing that can be done. We have crushed cabinets and drawers, areas where the granite is not attached to the wall, pavers that were destroyed by their constructions workers, a cracked sink, major scratch in a tub, scratched up stuff everywhere, the dry wall needs to be redone in half the house, and oh, how I can go on! It has become a full time job dealing with this, waiting on vendors daily. When the plumber mentioned the cracked sink we were told that he had no right to tell us that. What kind of lack of integrity is this? Of course he should have told us. That is why he was there. If I, who am not a builder or a construction worker, have to locate all these issues - what about the issues that my lack of experience won't find? My biggest question is - Does Lennar even care? I attribute the success of my former business not only to quality of service, but to the highest level of customer service. I see NO customer service with this current Lennar experience. Sadly, our experience with Lennar was not a good one. We have purchased many homes over the years, including a few new builds. The issues: 1. Late. The home was "completed" over 3 months late. 2. Forced to close. Lennar forced us to close on our house on a certain date (5/31) to meet their quarterly figures. They even told me the same. Even after we told them we do not want to close as the house wasn't finished and the punchlist (if you can call it that) was extensive, they closed the transaction anyway. 3. No Cert. of Occupancy. They closed the home before getting the COO. While it did come in the next days, the point was that we were not comfortable closing without it. They did it anyway without our approval late in the evening. 4. In addition to closing without our approval, we were told their punch crew would finish all of the items, not to worry. I specifically asked for the remaining work not to be handed to the warranty department. It was agreed. So after we closed, they didn't finish the punch work and handed everything left to the warranty department. They finally finished last week (2 months later). ... More

Lots of unfinished sloppy work. Being addressed slowly. But have confidence that all will be addressed

Overall we had a great buying experience with Lennar. We did go through a less than attentive sales person early in the process, but that was resolved by the regional sales manager stepping in and picking up the slack towards the end. I would recommend Lennar for any future buyer.

Was told walk thru was on a certain date and closing to follow , but after 3.5 weeks of rescheduling and stories we finally closed, there was no consideration or reimbursement for staying in a hotel for that period of time as the building was no wear near finished upon our arrival in Florida,

Everyone from the sales person Nate to the construction managers Charlie & Glenn were great. They kept us informed of the process and time frame. All the subs did a great job . We love our home . Thank you to all.

Very disappointed in the overall process, quality and value as well as responsiveness to issues. Keep being told "this is the way it is these days" instead of having the respect and quality that a new house should. The only goal was to close on the house - no matter what shape it was in - and was promised all items would be fixed right away. Going on 2 months and the majority of the issues haven't even been scheduled to be fixed. Everyone is paying A+ prices these days and getting C+ quality and service. Thank you.

We had a great experience with Lennar Our home was completed in a timely manner considering the material shortage and we had a wonderful construction manager Ron who kept us informed throughout the entire process and answered any questions we may have had. We moved here like so many others from out of state and could not have gotten through it all without all of the resources offered to us by Lennar. Closing was completed in such an organized and professional manner and the title company was beyond compare and JJ and her team worked relentlessly to help us through the process via the extensive extremely professional Lennar Track portal system, emails, texts and phone calls and honestly the communication was remarkable. We are loving our new home down here in beautiful sunny Florida and are so happy we chose Lennar!! ... More

The home was given to me in a complete mess. Now, Lennar expects me to be available all the time to schedule appointments with each individual company for the many issues that the house has. This is a full time job for which I don’t have the time as I work full time. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a purchase of a house.

Good morning, we recently purchased a condo in Lakewood Ranch and I wanted to send some positive feedback related to Arthur, Carly and Ron. They were available to answer any questions and their response time for any questions was very timely. Especially since we were out of state ! Thank you for making this process seemless.

Worst buying experience I have ever had. Pressured to do walk thru then nothing on the list from walk thru was completed by closing. 45 days after closing and light fixtures are still on back order, roof tiles broken, and doorbell doesn't work. only in the last 24 hrs has anybody tried to help. Walls are not straight, and paint is one coat of the cheapest paint on the market. Job site was full of trash for entire build and had to personally remove trash behind cabinets and in walls before being inclosed.

I recently completed a townhouse and they've yet to address any issues with this build. The people involved have yet to come back and address any issues and there are some major issues wrong.

I am happy with the property but the warranty proccess has been slow and frustrationg; it's been nearly 2 months since closing and am still waiting for punch list items to be completed. It has been difficult to manage since I am not currently located in Florida.

We recently built our new Florida Home with Lennar. Overall, we are very happy with our experience. We bought during the period where they were requiring highest and best offers, which is a bit frustrating. Not only did we not get to choose our options, but we had to bid against everyone else. That being said, the house they delivered was mostly what we were looking for, they delivered a little bit late, but compared to other builders they were fast. The value is great compared to other builders in the area. Our Sales agent was excellent, and the service responses so far have been great as well. It's easy for people to complain about their builders, but when we look around and see the overall state of the housing market, contractor labor shortages, supply chain issues, etc., we feel that the builder did a pretty good job despite those challenges. Sure not everything was perfect, but anyone expecting perfection in this market is either going to pay through the nose, or be seriously disappointed.
