Buyer beware of what you are getting into with Lennar at Lorraine Lakes. Poor communication from Bobbi the sales agent, a terrible experience with Fernando the "construction manager" and deception from both individuals when it came to the closing issues on our new $700k+ home. It is our dream home in our dream neighborhood. But we never dreamed we would have such a poor experience buying a home this expensive. 6 weeks after closing, we are still awaiting resolution on issues that were identified at our walkthru and were supposed to have been fixed within 24 hours of closing. My experience with Lennar has been horrible.. Since day one I wanted to buy a house with a loan and the person a spoke to thought it was cash and obviously they waited until closing day to contact me and that was a huge problem.. going from buying cash to a loan and I almost lost my deposite which is 10% of the house values ( crazy) if this was my first house I would never want to go through that also because Lennar people are not helpful at all.. honestly I don’t have time to do this but I do not recommend friends or family to buy from Lennar.. Very disappointed in the quality of materials and craftsmanship of the home. Extremely sloppy grout, wood work, and painting. We did not expect to move into a brand new home and need to fix SO MANY things— The amount of carelessness, cheap materials, and inexperience of their trade workers is evident in every room. Very disappointed in the overall process, quality and value as well as responsiveness to issues. Keep being told "this is the way it is these days" instead of having the respect and quality that a new house should. The only goal was to close on the house - no matter what shape it was in - and was promised all items would be fixed right away. Going on 2 months and the majority of the issues haven't even been scheduled to be fixed. Everyone is paying A+ prices these days and getting C+ quality and service. Thank you.

Worst buying experience I have ever had. Pressured to do walk thru then nothing on the list from walk thru was completed by closing. 45 days after closing and light fixtures are still on back order, roof tiles broken, and doorbell doesn't work. only in the last 24 hrs has anybody tried to help. Walls are not straight, and paint is one coat of the cheapest paint on the market. Job site was full of trash for entire build and had to personally remove trash behind cabinets and in walls before being inclosed.
