Don not rely on homebuilder or workers as you have to watch and inspect everything they build or try and correct.

Sean in the sales department was excellent!! I would rate him a 10 out of 10. He kept us in the loop the entire time during construction and notified us of any changes.

We closed on our home on August 30th with three pages of items that still needed to be done on our home. Now seven weeks later, we still have atleast 2 sheets of items still not complete. There has been very little follow up. I do work from home as an real estate appraiser and realtor, but I still have appointments and things I need to do. I have had to stay home atleast 10 days for people to come do things on my home. I have also had contractors knock on my door without any advance notice given at all. Very disappointed in Lennar and the volume of issues needing to be fixed after move-in, including lanai flooding, garage keypad not working, water not connected for dishwasher, sloppy workmanship. The sales rep (not Art) and Oleg (construction manager) did a hasty walk-through prior to close — Oleg was completely disinterested and made offensive remarks about this home not being “custom construction.” The pair essentially lied in telling us the repairs we were requesting would be completed “in the next few weeks.” That was May 5 and many of the repairs are yet to be made as of August 3. Poor communication. Changed CSR reps 3 times. Multiple delays mixed with the horrible communication required multiple moves and overlapping rent on multiple locations. Then gave estimate of 6 months, so we signed a 7 month lease, just to find out 2 weeks later they wanted to rush the close within a month so they could hit financial targets for the quarter. Several issues due to rushed close causing dealings with about a dozen contractors post closing. Various issues around the house still unresolved. Very sloppy work. On final walk thru, resistance to repairing damaged issues. Poor quality appliances, dryer broke down after 1 week. It took 1 month to have it repaired.

Lennar uses 100s of contractors, so there is no accountability for work that will require follow-up once you actually own your home. The walls are thin and provide no sound proofing, this includes the thin aluminum windows that seep air/moisture. They use matte paint throughout, even in the kitchen and bathrooms. "Upgraded Cabinets" means they are white in color- they are made of soft wood that will show even slight dings from regular use. The bathtubs are made of plastic and carpet will look worn and tired after less than 6m, even if you do not have pets or children. However, I live in a ...

Dylan, our sales representative, has been a huge failure since sales contract was signed. Either does not reply to our text messages regarding questions or concerns or responds days later. The sales and finance teams are awesome. The warranty team has been good to work with. The overall construction, workmanship, oversight and quality are absolutely terrible. The trade workers have no regard for the way they perform their jobs. When the home was completed and turned over to me it was a disgrace. Please take some pride in what you do and give people a home they can be proud of from day one.

It. Has been a disappointing experience from sales, orientation, communication, follow through to correct. deficiencies in the house a landscaping. . I am guessing you have too few staff to provide the qualities you promise. The delays in getting to closing I.e. simple repairs and/or replacements made it extremely costly and frustrating arranging shipping, transport etc all of which was easily easiily solveable.

Workmanship of all grouting was terrible. All shipping plastic on the shower basin was not removed and was caulked over the top and peeling off. Overspray of white paint on black cabinets. Many door trim finish boards were cut over an inch short and just caulked at the floor. Garage door floor area had to be floated because there were 1/2 gaps on both far left and far right sides of the door when the door was closed. Unfortunately, when it came to our salesman it was a poor experience. When you re spending well over the amount the house is worth just do to the market you expect professionalism atleast. We had a wonderful experience with our project manager who really was attentive but when it came to customer service provided by sales contact it was extremely poor and unprofessional.

We were forced to close on our new home, and the home was not complete. Lennar had our money, and we were closing virtually because we were located out of state. It was clear that the construction team had not completed the house and had no plans of delivering a finished product. They were pushing as much as they could on the warranty team. I have worked with other competing builders in the area and the Lennar experience was by far the worst I have seen. I'll be buying more homes in the area and most likely not from Lennar. I also won't be recommending Lennar to anyone else who asks me.

Sadly, our experience with Lennar was not a good one. We have purchased many homes over the years, including a few new builds. The issues: 1. Late. The home was "completed" over 3 months late. 2. Forced to close. Lennar forced us to close on our house on a certain date (5/31) to meet their quarterly figures. They even told me the same. Even after we told them we do not want to close as the house wasn't finished and the punchlist (if you can call it that) was extensive, they closed the transaction anyway. 3. No Cert. of Occupancy. Unfortunately, I do not have a good review regarding the home construction, which is full of problems and defects-- and the list is long. Some workers simply should not construct anyone's home. Customer service and warranty as well as sales is responsive and professional, so hopefully the defects and problems in construction will be taken care of afterwards. However, a new homeowner should not have to plead and stress about the multitude of problems in the new build in a new community.

Bidding for a home is not fair for the home buyer. Every home buyer in our neighboorhood paid a different price for the idenical home.

Take your time during the final inspection. Do not close on your home until the corrections are completed. We have been waiting for over six weeks for the pavers to be replaced in the lani. The granite used in the kitchen is not sealed properly causing permament stains. The granite installation company and Lennar have stated the granite is defected in many homes in Lorraine Lakes but have informed home owners they will not replace the defective granite.
