Response to warranty issues has been very good. However, the month leading up to our closing was absolutely brutal. We had to pressure Lennar to move the closing date back three times. The different divisions (construction, mortgage, title, sales, etc.) did not communicate with the other. The local construction people had no idea of our original closing date and weren't even close to having the house ready. On closing day the title company (Lennar Title) did not have the closing documents from the lender (Lennar) and we never had a final walk-thru or orientation prior to closing.

The sales team in Lakewood Ranch, FL. was first rate. They provided consistent and timely updates on the build process and were available for those spur of the moment questions that always seem to come up. Dealing with Lennar's mortgage company was not as smooth. Things went well overall, but there was a lack of communication between the sales and mortgage side on when the closing date was going to be. This caused multiple "hard" credit pulls that adversely affected my credit score. I was lucky to have a pretty good credit score so it did not effect my rate. But, it could have. Dealing with Lennar Customer Support for post-purchase issues has been hit-or-miss. The support team is good to deal with but can be a bit busy at times so their communication and response to claims or questions can be spotty at times. When getting things fixed I needed to keep in mind that the same people that installed it in the first place would also be the same ones that fixed it. Their focus generally was the new units that were being built and not fixing their mistakes. So, patience is needed and understanding that they were the lowest bidder for the job. This came in handy when I understood that paint was "acceptable" to fill in gaps in moldings instead of caulking. In my case, I was still working through a pre-closing punch list of issues that needed to be addressed 2-3 months after closing. These were things that were caught by Lennar prior to me having my pre-closing walk through that were still not addressed and were not addressed by closing. Overall, Lennar is a good home builder with some really good floor plans to choose from. But, there are going to be more than a few issues that you will need to work through and that makes the one year warrantee that they offer worth quite a bit to the bottom line. ... More

My 3rd time building second time building a Lennar home, this has been the worst one by far. From the lack of communication, to the 9 week closing delay, the quality of work, missing items, incomplete items, no walk through etc. I would not recommend Lennar as a builder.

Buyer beware. Lennar hired substandard contractors. Problems since we closed.

I am so happy l choose Lennar building company. Everything perfect.

Make sure you get a home inspection. Do not close until the cleaning company does a satisfactory job. Subcontractors need to take pride in their work.

Lorraine Lakes is a great place and our new home has exceeded our expectation.

The construction team and warranty team did a nice job in getting issues corrected.

Workmanship was disappointing. The subcontractors are paid by the house so they are incentivized to move quickly to maximize how much they make. This does not result in quality work. In our house the ceiling is out of plumb by at least two inches, the windows are scratched and gouged, appliances dented, cabinets defective, trimwork cracked and poorly caulked/painted and the list goes on. We are still waiting four months after closing to correct many of these issues. It appears that Lennar has little concern with customer satisfaction and is only about closing and moving on to the next house. ... More

We purchased our home sight unseen ... the entire process was done virtually. I was informed every step of the way; the walk through and closing were totally seamless. I credit my agent for a terrific experience! She was available to us, and she demonstrated thorough knowledge of what she was selling. She clearly has tremendous pride in Lennar!

Hi Everything is delayed abd hard to get info from sales people. Reluctant to give feedback and answer questions in regards to ongoing progress. Like pulling teeth hard to get info. Now amenity center is delayed when we contracted we were told summer 2021 now summer 2022 Very much not happy . Wish we could get out of our contract Hope someone hears me abd contacts me

Mindy Koopman, was professional and extremely helpful throughout the process and continues to make the transition seamless and trouble free. Josh Lynch, was invaluable in providing assistance with the loan application process. What historically has been an arduous process for home buyers was simplified and streamlined to perfection. Lennar is a low end builder so materials will be low end. That said the communities are very nice.
