Shawn is an amazing human. He answered all of our questions. We love our home. We have nothing but issues with the appliances. The refrigerator leaked water, the dishwasher didn't work, and now the stove is broke. Thank goodness one of us doesn't work so we could be home for all of the repairs. We are now waiting for a new memory board for the stove, the clear button is suck down and turn everything off.

We made a big move from Central New York to Florida in the middle of the winter and we couldn’t have been more happy with the outcome of our new home. When we had a question we received quick responses in a majority of the cases and again, the quality of the home and the complimentary garage floor coating was greatly appreciated - it's beautiful. One thing I wish Lennar offered was providing optional add-on features for such things as plantation shutters, ceiling fans and lights as well as having quality paints used instead of the Pure White super flat that comes off by merely rubbing your finger across it. Spraying an empty house with flat white is quick and cheap but not a quality solution.

After Closing is all downhill

Lots of issues that the CM could have caught before final walkthrough. Planting dead trees in the backyard and tried to convince us it is alive and well. Poor painting, lazy finish. Contractors parking all over streets. Garbage left behind daily from contractors. Rude follow up when needed repairs or assistance. Overall I’d never buy with Lennar again after this experience. It was extremely stressful after closing and it just didn’t need to be.

Since the beginning we had issues. First the list of things from our final walk thru were not completed and I had the biggest headache getting them done. We were never provided a blue folder which explained a lot of things like warranty and other stuff that a new homeowner should’ve known. I still cannot get a free paint from sherwin williams because I cannot register. They do not recognize my address. And my biggest problem is that we signed the contract on Black Friday and according to Lennar Black Friday special we supposed to get a large tv and surround system. No one knows anything about ...

We were pleased with the whole closing process - nothing too difficult. As we were moving in, little things needed attention. Refrigerator water line was not hooked up. After a few days, it was taken care of. The dishwasher rinse box was cracked and needed to be replaced. That was taken care of within a few days after the second repairman took care of it. Our first week here, we inquired about garbage cans and recycling bins. That still has not been resolved 3 weeks after asking for help. Our garage door opener was dangling. Great customer facing people - end product lacks finishes

Our contact at Lennar has been nothing but fantastic. Would work with him or recommend him to anyone. New build home was built on time without any obvious delays from our perspective either. The final product has many finishing touch problems. Some are bigger problems than others: two lights have zero associated switches, hole in a wall, missing closet door, crack in another closet door with an arrow pointing to it (so it was known), paint on the floor EVERYWHERE. Overall, the experience was okay, but far from smooth. I can’t imagine having gone through this process without a realtor representing our interests. The loan process was extremely stressful and felt disorganized, with poor communication between departments and, at times, an overwhelming and frustrating experience. Will not buy again nor brag to anyone to buy

Terrible quality control, no finishes were Protected and it showed. I was rushed to close and have an open punchlist ongoing now almost 3 months. Certainly will not be telling anyone over at Lakewood national to move over or tell anyone I know unless they want to accept an overpriced sub par home. I could go on but none if this will make a difference cause you’re only interested in money, not the customer experience or quality. You cannot expect 1 CM to run 10-20 homes and get the same quality. By all means call me and I’ll explain from a general contractor side of things.

Poor experience

The price of the house was good, everything else was mediocre at best. Craftsmanship was sub par, many issues im still dealing with 2 month later. Brand new washer leaks, fridge is dented from whoever installed it, finish carpentry is poor. There are hidden fees they don’t tell you about, like the service area assessment fee which is 274 a quarter! Buyer beware! Do your homework.

Overall, it was a good buying experience and the home itself and community are great. However, there were a few areas for improvement: (1) Our home was ready for occupancy on closing day, but was very dirty and was never cleaned. There was drywall dust on the top of doorframes, window sills and the refrigerator. The floors were filthy. (2) Many of the items noted in our pre-closing walkthrough were not completed before occupancy. I bought a Lennar townhome at the end of November 2025. I absolutely love the layout, size and location in the neighborhood. I got a great deal considering it is a spec home, so everything is included. Have only lived in it for a couple months so nothing negative to report. Hopefully won't ever have anything negative to report. It's a brand new construction, so everything is good right now.

The mortgage salesman was not professional and very pushy. I would not recommend using Lennar Mortgage. The building site superintendent was great to work with. If it wasn't for him, I would not have went through with the purchase.

We got a beautiful home for a good price. However, Lennar left the place filthy. We never expected to have to deep clean before moving into our new home. We asked repeatedly about having the home cleaned and we’re actually told it had been cleaned. perhaps Lennar has a different standard on what clean is.There was construction dust everywhere on every surface. After walk thru and sign off, part of driveway was removed and replaced, cement was very dark gray, was told it would lighten as it cured, 2 months later, lightened a little but looks terrible, also at walk walk thru noticed a lot of ants, it got worse every day, purchased a lot of products, and contracted pest control company , reported to Lennar several times, asked for assistance for a few weeks while unoccupied, I was brushed off, now after a few months noticing a lot of little issues, stains and paint on carpet and tiles, windows dirty, etc etc, just not move in ready in my opinion.

The mortgage and title company was excellent to work with. Then we did our celebration had a few things to fix before we closed. We closed came to the house and nothing was fixed still tape on the walls took a week after we closed for them to fix them still all isn’t fixed. Then we moved in plugged in a brand new tv into the wall and the breaker tripped the electrican came out put something into an outlet said all is good. A few days latter we were watching tv and the breaker tripped again. The next morning the breaker kept tripping wouldn’t stay on called them the electrician came out again ...
