The construction manager was in over her head. We had to battle to get defects fixed. The warranty people since we closed are more responsive. We closed almost 2 months ago and are still waiting for exterior trim painting to be done. The finish in the home is sloppy and the workers don’t care about the finished product because they are all subcontractors.

The community is beautiful, however the home buying process through Lennar mortgage was beyond stressful and quite difficult. Our file was passed through multiple people and it seemed if each person had us start fe the very beginning of the process. So very stressful and irritating. There was a miscommunication as to what color scheme our home would be and upon our walkthrough we were promised by a gentleman covering for Brittany that we could easily change the color. Overall I love my new home. I wish you could work with one person throughout the whole process within Lennar, but instead you have to deal with a different person for literally everything, then try to remember who to talk to when you have a question. Way too confusing. Thank goodness I worked with my own realtor to assist me or I would have left the process without a new home here. We have not moved in yet. But we think that we have bought a great home. My only suggestion is that you offer an appliance allowance instead of putting them in. Because now we have to remove all of the appliances and buy different ones

Buying a home under construction exciting

Sales team great once you’ve closed little or no help same for construction team. Water line for sprinklers is on top of mulch-they sprayed walls and went over every outlet -concrete finish in garage and patio looks like a 12 yr old may have done patio isn’t level. We’ve only been in two weeks so I’m waiting for whatever happens next-I haven’t seen the construction team since we did final walk thru they disappear.

The construction side was great, they were attentive, prompt, fixed any issues right away, communicated well. The mortgage side was awful. They messed numbers up three times, over a month later told us we weren’t qualified to begin with, all because they never factored in 3/4 of our income from the very start. Too many people to talk to, no one knows what’s going on. Concerning payoffs is a joke. We paid down 90% of what we owed, provided more than enough proof that we did so, then argued that we had to pay Lennar the full amount still, we did. Lennar told us they’d cut us a check for the ...

Luxury adult living in Parrish

We moved into Prosperity Lakes Adult Community from Pinellas County. We were looking for a new construction retirement home with a fun active life style. The home is so well built and designed. We love the Sunburst layout with all white cabinets and tile floors through out most of the house outside the 2 bedrooms. Large bathrooms, oversized garage and an open great room living area we fell in love with! We also love the turn key aspect of the home as well. HOA does all the outside maintenance. We are so happy with our new home!

My experience with Lennar Morgage is very bad which result in I don’t wanna buy any Lennar house any more. The loan documents have a lot issue and it took us a lot time to get the clarity we need. Steve our loan officer is not responsive and not a problem solver. He kept throw our question away. We have consistently have frustration feelings that don’t wanna continue any more. A lot steps that only let us know at the last minute and keep push us to take action immediately without any turn around time. The stuff should be more efficient and give customers enough time to take actions

Overall, the home itself, the loan process, and the title experience went smoothly. However, we are extremely displeased with the HOA and ARC process. The documentation provided to homeowners states that we can choose between PVC or black aluminum rail fencing, yet our applications for the aluminum rail style have been repeatedly denied without a clear, consistent explanation. When we went to buy our home it was contingent on us selling our other home.The person buying our home was a developer and kept changing our closing dates for a total of 7 times.We already had a closing date set and our realtor had to keep calling Jessica at Lennar to change our dates.Jessica was fantastic assuring us we wouldn't lose the house and not to worry.Everyone else involved from Lennar was also great switching everything around to accommodate us.Overall it was a great experience dealing with everyone in such a stressful situation.I would recommend Lennar to anyone.

My experience with the sales person & my superintendent were excellent. They were quick to respond, professional & caring. The only 2 complaints I have are 3 of my appliances were damaged and the ceiling has so many tape lines in different rooms that will have to be redone, which will make a mess in my new house. The drywall company is terrible.

My experience with Lennar has been awful. I was given misinformation from my Lennar mortgage representative on several occasions making the process a nightmare. Then I was promised that a list of items would be completed by the builder prior to my virtual walk-through. They were not, but promised to be done prior to closing. It's now been six weeks since I closed and I'm still waiting for many things to be fixed. I'm frustrated and very unhappy with Lennar.
