This has been the most wonderful experience for me! I have purchased many properties in my life time and I can honestly say this has been the most organized. effective and easy to follow process ever!

Overall, it was a good buying experience and the home itself and community are great. However, there were a few areas for improvement: (1) Our home was ready for occupancy on closing day, but was very dirty and was never cleaned. There was drywall dust on the top of doorframes, window sills and the refrigerator. The floors were filthy. (2) Many of the items noted in our pre-closing walkthrough were not completed before occupancy. (3) There seem to be a lot of warranty issues so far, which is a worry for the future, Also, the closing and mortgage processes were tedious, with the over reliance on Email's and customer portals and confirmation codes and so on. ... I bought a Lennar townhome at the end of November 2025. I absolutely love the layout, size and location in the neighborhood. I got a great deal considering it is a spec home, so everything is included. Have only lived in it for a couple months so nothing negative to report. Hopefully won't ever have anything negative to report. It's a brand new construction, so everything is good right now.

The mortgage salesman was not professional and very pushy. I would not recommend using Lennar Mortgage. The building site superintendent was great to work with. If it wasn't for him, I would not have went through with the purchase.

We got a beautiful home for a good price. However, Lennar left the place filthy. We never expected to have to deep clean before moving into our new home. We asked repeatedly about having the home cleaned and we’re actually told it had been cleaned. perhaps Lennar has a different standard on what clean is.There was construction dust everywhere on every surface. An unbelievable about bugs all over the counters and an incredible amount of paint on the floor that had to be scraped off on our hands and knees. Lennar also has not responded to requests to replace a door handle on our siding glass door. We spoke with the construction manager Leesa more than once about replacing a door handle on our sliding glass door that has a huge chip out of it. She repeatedly told us it was on order. Not sure where they’re ordering from but we have not heard anything back about it despite our repeated inquiries. I hate to think what a struggle It will be to get any warranty work completed. After walk thru and sign off, part of driveway was removed and replaced, cement was very dark gray, was told it would lighten as it cured, 2 months later, lightened a little but looks terrible, also at walk walk thru noticed a lot of ants, it got worse every day, purchased a lot of products, and contracted pest control company , reported to Lennar several times, asked for assistance for a few weeks while unoccupied, I was brushed off, now after a few months noticing a lot of little issues, stains and paint on carpet and tiles, windows dirty, etc etc, just not move in ready in my opinion.

I purchased a condo in Venice, Florida. The entire Lennar team was great! Thank you Denise and Josh, you and your team made it very easy and fun.

The mortgage and title company was excellent to work with. Then we did our celebration had a few things to fix before we closed. We closed came to the house and nothing was fixed still tape on the walls took a week after we closed for them to fix them still all isn’t fixed. Then we moved in plugged in a brand new tv into the wall and the breaker tripped the electrican came out put something into an outlet said all is good. A few days latter we were watching tv and the breaker tripped again. The next morning the breaker kept tripping wouldn’t stay on called them the electrician came out again the there were wires touching in one of the outlets. The toilet downstairs was loose at the base the Plummers came out and fixed it a week later it’s doing the same thing still waiting for them to come back. I found a bolt laying on ground in the garage and it was from the door. it came out of the garage door were the panels connect it has been over a month since the construction manager came out and looked out said he would get a hold of the garage door people and the garage door still isn’t fixed, it had been so stress full no COMMUNICATION AT ALL!!!!!! And nothing we needs fixed when we closed has been fixed… just very frustrating when we are the ones buying these and they aren’t they way they should be…things shouldn’t need to be fixed on a brand new house but I understand things come up and things happen but to be brushed off is ridiculous! ... The construction manager was in over her head. We had to battle to get defects fixed. The warranty people since we closed are more responsive. We closed almost 2 months ago and are still waiting for exterior trim painting to be done. The finish in the home is sloppy and the workers don’t care about the finished product because they are all subcontractors.

The community is beautiful, however the home buying process through Lennar mortgage was beyond stressful and quite difficult. Our file was passed through multiple people and it seemed if each person had us start fe the very beginning of the process. So very stressful and irritating. There was a miscommunication as to what color scheme our home would be and upon our walkthrough we were promised by a gentleman covering for Brittany that we could easily change the color. Long story short, after jumping through multiple hoops, no response from texts sent to Brittany or her boss Cathy, we were the told today, that they will not be painting the door. Basically, we got what we got. Needless to say, we are not happy with that response or the way the whole situation has been handled. We simply wanted what was promised to us on our walkthrough. Overall I love my new home. I wish you could work with one person throughout the whole process within Lennar, but instead you have to deal with a different person for literally everything, then try to remember who to talk to when you have a question. Way too confusing. Thank goodness I worked with my own realtor to assist me or I would have left the process without a new home here. I also wish they didn’t use the cheapest material to finish the house. No input or customizing allowed. Alli wanted were ceiling fans. My appraisal clearly noted they were included, but that was an error! No fans. Since there are no windows downstairs in the townhome it’s extremely stuffy really quick. Now that I’ve been in my home for two months I know there are things that should have been done and will eventually need upgraded. It was my first home buying process so I guess I learned. ... More

We have not moved in yet. But we think that we have bought a great home. My only suggestion is that you offer an appliance allowance instead of putting them in. Because now we have to remove all of the appliances and buy different ones

Some issues with the quality of the workmanship. Matt your agent has done an excellent job in getting the concerns taken care of and the follow up was great insuring we were satisfied with the repairs.

Sales team great once you’ve closed little or no help same for construction team. Water line for sprinklers is on top of mulch-they sprayed walls and went over every outlet -concrete finish in garage and patio looks like a 12 yr old may have done patio isn’t level. We’ve only been in two weeks so I’m waiting for whatever happens next-I haven’t seen the construction team since we did final walk thru they disappear.

The construction side was great, they were attentive, prompt, fixed any issues right away, communicated well. The mortgage side was awful. They messed numbers up three times, over a month later told us we weren’t qualified to begin with, all because they never factored in 3/4 of our income from the very start. Too many people to talk to, no one knows what’s going on. Concerning payoffs is a joke. We paid down 90% of what we owed, provided more than enough proof that we did so, then argued that we had to pay Lennar the full amount still, we did. Lennar told us they’d cut us a check for the full amount we owed then other companies would pay us back the difference. That’s not what happened which led to more confusion. Horrible experience on the mortgage side. Never again will we buy Lennar nor recommend the company based on that. You’d get more stars if it was even slightly better, but it wasn’t. It cost us a few thousand more because we had to keep renting because no one could get their act together and figure simple things out that were on the most basic level of their job description. ... We moved into Prosperity Lakes Adult Community from Pinellas County. We were looking for a new construction retirement home with a fun active life style. The home is so well built and designed. We love the Sunburst layout with all white cabinets and tile floors through out most of the house outside the 2 bedrooms. Large bathrooms, oversized garage and an open great room living area we fell in love with! We also love the turn key aspect of the home as well. HOA does all the outside maintenance. We are so happy with our new home!

My experience with Lennar Morgage is very bad which result in I don’t wanna buy any Lennar house any more. The loan documents have a lot issue and it took us a lot time to get the clarity we need. Steve our loan officer is not responsive and not a problem solver. He kept throw our question away. We have consistently have frustration feelings that don’t wanna continue any more. A lot steps that only let us know at the last minute and keep push us to take action immediately without any turn around time. The stuff should be more efficient and give customers enough time to take actions

Check everything before you buy

Overall, the home itself, the loan process, and the title experience went smoothly. However, we are extremely displeased with the HOA and ARC process. The documentation provided to homeowners states that we can choose between PVC or black aluminum rail fencing, yet our applications for the aluminum rail style have been repeatedly denied without a clear, consistent explanation. This was one of the most important factors when purchasing our home, and had we known that the option listed in the HOA materials would not actually be allowed, we would have reconsidered our purchase. We are also experiencing inconsistent and shifting reasons for the denial of our gutter installation. Meanwhile, it has been two months since settlement and, due to these delays, the mulch on the side of our home is washing away with every rainfall. The lack of clarity and consistency in the HOA approval process has been the most frustrating part of our experience. ... More

When we went to buy our home it was contingent on us selling our other home.The person buying our home was a developer and kept changing our closing dates for a total of 7 times.We already had a closing date set and our realtor had to keep calling Jessica at Lennar to change our dates.Jessica was fantastic assuring us we wouldn't lose the house and not to worry.Everyone else involved from Lennar was also great switching everything around to accommodate us.Overall it was a great experience dealing with everyone in such a stressful situation.I would recommend Lennar to anyone.

I had a good overall experience with Lennar and the Condo with one minor issue and one major issue that I never received a satisfactory response. Respectfully Bob T.

purchase went smoothly, appliances are all GE but of lower quality, room switches are not dimmer friendly
