I would never buy another Lennar home. I have owned in communities. But this experience has been unimaginably horrible. I have a serious constructionissue with the house. I’m getting the runaround. The solution has been approved three separate times but the materials never get ordered so I have to keep starting over. They just close tickets out if they don’t feel like addressing them the warranty person is the most horrible, rude nasty Power crazy person he lets you know. House is great, dealing with their mortgage people was not enjoyable. You can buy better homes, better quality, but the closest thing that Del Webb had to offer was way more than 100k higher in price. I have no regrets, this is my 2nd Lennar home in 6 years.

Horrible customer service with zero help.

Lennar mortgage is the worst. I have been an owner for 2 months. I sent my 1st payment as instructed and they have sent me 2 late notices. Although they cashed my check 10 days before the due date. 3 times I called to get verification and acknowlement. Waiting for a call back from a "supervisor ". Waiting over 40 minutes each time on hold Waiting for a reply. They were disorganized from the start. Nonody at their company wants to talk via the phone. They sold my loan already and still can't get answers from either company. They have made my brand new purchase a disappointing experience.

Very pleased with the Lennar experience with one exception. Too many cooks so to speak. We were supposed to have one person help coordinate everything but instead we ended up having to deal with at least 5 different people/departments. Coordination would have been appreciated.

You get what you pay for

The buying experience was easy. We got the floorplan we wanted at a great price. We found issues, but our customer rep handled everything and all were resolved. The biggest issue is the shoddy work by the electrical contractor. Boxes are poorly fitted in the walls, plugs wont fit in switches, and they stick out from the sheetrock at angles so the plates stick out from the walls. We have been trying to adjust them as we paint.

Purchasing and living in our Lennar Community

It has been a very good experience purchasing from Lennar in Wellen Golf and Country Club and working with the various groups under the Lennar name (Sales, Title, Insurance, etc). The home we purchased closed on the original date provided to us. We have worked extensively with the Warranty and Service team and they have been responsive, punctual and efficient. The various trades have done a great job of managing any issues that have arisen. Overall, great value in our home and property and a wonderful community and neighbours to date.

Great service, answered all questions within a reasonable time. dealt with one person as the process continued. One thing I would recommend is that Lennar would be mindful that most clients work a regular 9 to 5, and it may be difficult to take calls.

When I 1st started looking for homes in Feb '24 the 1st 2 sales rep's could not answer any of my question about Prosperity Lakes. Then when I asked other sales rep's in the office "you need to ask you sales agent". I was on my way out to go home when I meet Kevin in the driveway. I asked him if he could help me and answer some questions. He was Fantastic and answered all my questions that the other did not know or would not answer. Construction Manager Lied - Promises not kept

We paid for a 3rd party inspection report which was sent to the construction manager to take care of prior to our closing the day of our final walkthrough half of the items weren’t taken care of and he promised he would take care of them if we signed off on the home. The biggest item that I am still upset about is our driveway which was not properly leveled prior to laying the pavers and it has dips throughout. I have copies of written communication from Chase our construction manager saying it will be taken care of both prior to our closing and after and that “the price has been approved” ...

Unhappy with several things I've had to go through since I bought my home, I don't complain about the deal when buying the house but I do complain about how long it has taken to fix a leak in my bathroom. Something that I could have taken less than 2 weeks has become a 2-month headache, since day 1 I have not been able to bathe or use my bathroom. The whole process was very overwhelming and messy. We were pushed to close so quickly in this home that had alot of issues to be addressed. We made it aware during walk through, and they told us to just submit a ticket in warranty and they will cover it. The response time from everyone has been very delayed. We are still having issues to this day with our address not being able to be validated because it is a new construction home. The agent that sells the house does not give you specific details when I asked about accessories in the house, etc. There are no clarities inside of the contract or at closing. One part of the company doesn’t know what the other one is doing. The mortgage buying experience was completely atrocious and I have experience in buying new homes with other builders. Lennar provided a large home for a reasonable price. build quality and materials were good. Repair and warranty process moving forward reasonably well. New home doesnt have much for storage, closets, or bathroom amenities like toilet paper holders and towel racks. Happy with the home for the most part.

Buyer beware - false statements by salespeople, archaic, disorganized and unnecessarily time-intensive requirements that customers deal with way too many emails and multiple online platforms and excessive amounts of conversation with multiple employees in multiple departments, to get anything done. I suspect this is intentional, so that buyers just give up reading and writing emails and talking to way too many employees, and they give in to builder demands.
