Smooth Purchasing Process

The purchasing process was smooth and without any problems. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. I did not run in to any problems until after closing. Do not accept verbal promises to correct things after closing. Get everything in writing about what will be done!

Lennar did not fix items before our closing as promised. Much of the blue tape was removed even though the issues had not been resolved. Items are slowly being addressed via warranty tickets weeks later.

My only issue is the quality of the workmanship in certain trades. Most of what is discovered after move in, can be easily caught. Light fixtures off center, chipped tiles, etc. Lennar does stand behind their product. It becomes time consuming after completion.

It was very stressful. They approved me for a loan. I payed 30% down payment and after that they told me that I am not approved and I needed to pay off my car. That was not the plan in first place. I had to spend all my money before I made this big purchase. I don’t want to see any email from Lennar ever again.

Disappointed… easy to get in. Sales and mortgage groups were great. What promised was not what I was given. Now fence blown down and it seems they are taking their time to repair. We live on main road and it is super loud and cars have access to our back door. Very scary.

I don’t know. There are more restrictions on what we can do with our house yard. I want to make it mine not look like other houses. The salesman told us we could do that and it wasn’t until later we found out we couldn’t. It’s taking a long time to get the clubhouse finished.

We have had a good experience with Lennar thus far. From the purchase to the title and financing things have gone very smoothly. There are a few minor things that need to be fixed, but their follow on group has been very responsive. Overall, we are very pleased with the value for the money. I would recommend Lennar.

Don't be rushed during the final walk thru, take your time to notice things that need to be corrected, if not it's harder to fix after the fact, they like to over book the number if walk thru's and rush through it.

My wife visited the community and found a property being built, but not under contract. The process took about 2-3 months to get from signed contract to close. There were a few hiccups along the way as to be expected, but Lennar was able to deliver without much delay.

In February, we purchased a new home from Lennar in the gated community of Lorraine Lakes in Lakewood Ranch, FL. The home was already under construction so we were able to see the lot and the progress made to date. We chose the Richmond plan (2,724 sq ft) as it is has a great layout with 4 bedrooms plus den. Poor from the moment we closed So many issues. Such poor finishing. Such a slow unprofessional service getting the house as it should have been. Even untidy, broken tiles everywhere, pool green etc etc Couldn’t have been worse

Our overall experience was going smoothly until our closing day. Lennar did not have keys to our own home and wanted us to sign off on the walk thru. It took over 2 hours to get our keys. We were diligent in our walk thru with the Lennar rep prior to closing. Point out defects that need to be fixed. 2 days before closing they still had not completed all of the issues. We hired our own home inspector which I highly recommend. Lennar’s warranty claim process is a joke. We have a one year warranty to report any issues. We filed a claim for the Ring Doorbell. Everything was ok until we signed the paperwork and then all the all the Promises we were told would be fixed or resolved we are still waiting to be fix! We never got our box of tile we were told would be in our garage and that our lawn to be fixed! We still don’t have grass in our yard after living here two months! I will never buy another house from Lennar and I will be telling everyone about the poor customer service and empty promises we were told would be handled!!

I can honestly say our experience has been great from beginning to end. On closing day, the house was in great shape. Of course minor issues arised after being in the house but every time we have needed to request service they have been addressed quickly. All the Lennar staff in the neighborhood are great to work with and they truly want to make you happy. Of course there are those that can never be happy. That has not been our case. I would not hesitate to buy from Lennar again.

First time building with a track builder. Our sales agent, Sean, went above and beyond. He was very communicative with us throughout the building process. There were some structural issues found by the independent inspector we hired and they were corrected at the pre drywall Phase. We also had a real estate agent, Christina, represent our interest during the 6 month build. She kept us well informed on the construction progress. Selection of house and the building process went smoothly until it was to close. During our walkthrough, inspections were not complete, house was not cleaned at all, some items were not completed, final trim paint was not finished. We did our walk through and made list of items that needed to be fixed or finished. We were told it all would be completed by the closing date.
