We are happy with our purchase, a few things that should be considered, the AC unit is undersized for a 2 story unit, one story units have the same tonnage, was promised the unit would be clean when we did our walkthrough and after closing unit was still the same as we had seen it when we inspected. Why carpeting and not hard flooring throughout, why no gutters included. Reclaimed irrigation in front but not in back. Some other minor is*****s but overall satisfied

Unfortunate experience with Lennar as a builder. I had previously worked with ***** who, now looking back at it, set the bar very high for service and product to which Lennar falls very short of.

I purchased a Lennar townhouse in Tampa, Florida as an investment property to use as a rental. Overall, I have been very pleased with the experience and have no buyer's remorse. Like any new construction home, there were a few minor items that needed attention during the final walkthrough. The stove and microwave had been used by contractors and needed to be cleaned, there was a small ceiling crack between the kitchen lights, some sticky residue on the stairs, and a cosmetic mark on one of the bedroom walls. The placement of the internet cabinet is highly inadequate. Lennar Architects should collaborate with their IT department to ensure proper positioning of the modem. The cabinet is located at the far end of the home, resulting in poor signal reception at the other end. Furthermore, CAT 6 cable was installed throughout the house, but it was not extended to the furthest room where it was most needed. Additionally, this is a 55+ community, but the architects did not consider this demographic when designing the home. For instance, the air filter is installed on the ceiling and requires a ladder ...

overall quality control leave something to be desired for the price point you’re buying National service people were polite, but we’re not capable of making any decisions. Sales team were above average. I would absolutely never close online again. closing was a poor experience.

Bought house that was already 90% built n closed in 30 days. Intense process involving approx 8 diff Lennar reps. All, nice n very helpful people within their respective field of expertise along the buying assembly line process. But u could have 5 diff Lennar reps all wanting things from u at one time in an effort to close ASAP. Hard for anyone who works full time // out of state to buy n close so quickly. Might b better off putting $ down on a house that’s not so close to being finished. Great employees! Very helpful! Can see how they r a Fortune 500 Comp

Did not fix any of the issues found during the inspection. They made it extremely difficult to have a third party inspector come in. A door fell off 2 months after buying the house and they are refusing to warranty it. The home buying experience was very smooth though. Suzette was a pleasure to deal with and was very helpful

GET A THIRD PARTY INSPECTOR. I've been in the house less than a month and had an issue. Its been almost 2 months now and the issue has not been fixed. I put in work orders and they close them. I tried to reopen it and it got denied. If this is how it going to be while I own this house I would say BUYERS BEWARE.

Underwriting was a pain. Lack of communication among the employees and some not returning calls or emails. Had to upload the same information several times. Very frustrating and upsetting. Now that it’s all over we love our home and are very happy even though we needed a brand new air conditioner within the first two weeks. Other than that no major issues with our home.

The process took about a month total. The hardest part was underwriting. They needed so much info and changes. If you stay on top of what they need the process goes smoothly. The representatives and mortgage counselors were responsive. There were a few minor issues in the home, electrical. Hoping to catch all these issues in the first year.

The overall experience was not an enjoyable one. If you okay with hearing NO to ever request then proceed with Lennar. Get everything in writing and even then Lennar will not honor commitment. They will blame the sales associate our fimd some other loop hole. Our sales associate lied or mislead us on numerous items. The overall construction quality was okay but cutting corners are evident. For the money spent i wish we had a better experience and wish we had not put down a 10% deposit at contract signing had we not we would have walked away.

They moved the day to close so we had to pay for another night of keeping our stuff on the truck and had to pay another $300 for a hotel. The floors are very uneven and one of our trees in the back is not straight. Phil was great!
